Basically Phoe nailed it. If the patch works pretty much everywhere else, then it's windows 7 that has the conflict. In particular given windows track record over the years. When you hear hooves think horses, no zebras.

Then the problem is with windows 7. It's entirely possible the patch changed something and windows 7 is not allowing it to work. When in doubt microsoft is always wrong.

Wow that's strange. Usually nvidia's driver packages are rock solid.

Not surprising Neko. microsoft seems to thrive on breaking drivers with new versions of windoze.
