This is what happens when a clever engineer get bored.

See, I've never read any Aquaman comics. My previous exposure to him was Superfriends where basically it's all "let me summon X to my aid" telepathic powers with sea life, the ability to breath underwater and swim really fast. I don't remember him being superstrong and if he's not in the ocean, or near a public aquarium, he was pretty useless.
This one has a bit of personality over that white bread version and he's useful landlocked as well. Yes, he's not the long hair, one hand, brooding Aquaman of JLU but both of these characterizations are an improvement. -
True, I haven't gotten into seriously using IO sets on any of my characters and since I don't mind playing at lower levels I'm not all that excited about losing all of the set bonuses I'm buying. Even Frankenslotting will get limited by ED but at least it'll likely be limiting other aspects than just damage with the same number of slots.

BFG Tech was once a fairly well respected name for video cards. They recently declared bankruptcy and that company is now but a memory. It's warranty is now handled by PNY. However BFG's name is now owned by the same company that puts out cards carrying the Diamond Multimedia brand (also not the original Diamond Multimedia).
Now je_saist doesn't have a very high opinion of Diamond's current cards and if his opinion is sound, then people should be aware that any new BFG Tech cards will likely not be the same quality of the original BFG Tech.

The funny thing is I originally tried to steer him in the right direction, contacting actual NCSoft support and then when replying to Sharker_Quint, sound like I'm suggesting he shouldn't have started the thread at all. I'm sorry about that.
However as someone who reads every post on the tech and player questions forum every day, a player who crossposts his problem in every thread anyone started on it within minutes of each other is a lot like the classic "are we there yet". People who pick and choose threads to read don't have this problem but for us serial readers the "deja vu I just read this post" can sometimes push our buttons the wrong way.
When a fellow player is having a problem that could be related just to their system, we prefer players to start their own thread since every PC is a unique snowflake of hardware, drivers and software running in the background. However if the problem is a connection problem or in this case a problem with the character's database, it's best to get everyone with the problem in the same thread. Why? It's easier to get a dev to read one thread then multiple. It easier to show the magnitude of the problem. And in the case with connection problems, help to find commonality such as a bad hop or common ISP. -
Quote:That's because not everyone is suppose to be a continuously running machine of death and mayhem. I can see regen scrappers with both QR and Stamina, both maxed out to ED, with end reduction in their attacks and toggles coming close but still once in a while I still need to pause for a moment before plunging into the next large hazard spawn while soloing.I have the same issue. Have a few sets for one, so lots of end reduction in some attacks....at least one end reducer in anything with no sets.....one in all toggles....and my lvl 33 BS/SD is still losing all his end after just a couple groups. I think you need more than 30-35 percent in everything....prolly be an issue until you get all sets in everything that uses end, or put 2 SO's in everything. I can't be bothered with all that, so my toon is shelved for now. Just not fun.
And no, I know what I am doing....not running anything I shouldn't, like sprint or any kind of travel. Don't even have tough/weave yet...can't imagine how bad end will be then! -
Yes I know it sucks. I know it can be frustrating. I know that it'll be nice finding others with similar problems to commiserate with. But if all the other threads are old, this could imply that the system wide fix helped most but not you.
Then work the support system until your problem is resolved. We, other players, can't help you. Keep poking your service ticket, not creating new ones. Worse case PM one of the CS reps like Ocho.
It's a lot like telling all your neighbors that your cable is still out. They can't help you. Only riding the cable company service center can help until the problem is solved. -
The think is every map we have in the client must be duplicated to some extent up on the server.
One of the problems is each setting only has a dozen or so rooms that are identical in layout on each map. Sometimes we enter through the "other" door so it initially seems different but you quickly recognize each and know where every spawn is located. Sort of makes the tactics used, even soloing, rather boring after a while. At least patrols and ambushes spice it up a bit.
The outdoor missions are a lot of fun, either the unique ones or the subsection of a zone ones. Problem is I imagine they take a lot longer to create than simple connect a series of rooms interior maps.
This isn't Diablo II. I wish they had the tech to do random interior maps but I think it's beyond their abilities without impacting server performance. -
Well he's chimed in on all those threads as well. I see no reason to start yet another one.

First, never read the comic, just the Wikipedia entry for the comic.
The movie makes a lot more sense if you realize it's all from Scott's point of view. The movie opens with "Scott Pilgrim - Status: Awesome". Except he's not awesome except in his own mind. As long as he's alright with a situation, everyone else is.
Take Kim, he's sure everything is fine between them but considering the daggers she's shooting at him every time she looks at him it's obvious to everyone else that there are still unresolved issues there.
Take Knives, he cheats on her, even though they have a rather chaste relationship, but he doesn't really consider it cheating because in his mind he's already moved on to Ramona.
His friendship with Wallace. No who else but him thinks it's Okay to scrounge off your friend indefinitely, including sharing a bed. As long as Scott thinks things are OK, everyone thinks it's OK.
His band. He's a mediocre at best bass player. He's easily distracted. Blows off practice and isn't interested in the actual success of the band. But he's alright with that so everyone else must be too.
The only baggage he carries is his breakup with Envy (N. V., cute, thank you wiki). She treated him as carelessly as he does with other women. But it had nothing to do with him of course, it was his haircut that caused the breakup, hence the hat every time someone mentions his scruffy hair.
So when he gets gobsmacked by the site of Ramona after she wanders through his head she instantly becomes the prize, the goal, the reward. More so once the league gets involved. But in the end he wasn't concern about the league because what's important to him was that they were dating, nothing else mattered.
So basically at the core. Scott isn't a nice person. He isn't awesome, he's a dick who thinks he's awesome. But actually he's banked up a lot of bad Karma.
Ramona on the other hand is very much like Scott except she's aware of her failings. But instead of facing them she flees from them hoping to start fresh. Again Karma's a *****. I think she would have been happy not dating anybody but once she crosses through Scott's mind they were linked.
Scott's encounters with the league highlight his inadequacies. Most are more successful than he is. All think they're better than him. Yet Ramona dumped them all. Scott believes he has to defeat them to prove to Ramona that he's better than all of them.
At it's core the movie is about accepting responsibility and consequence of past relationships, yours and your partner's and try to move on. To, continue? 9..8..7..
I can see some liberal arts elective on film including this film as one to dissect and discuss the true underlying themes.
I've seen it twice. I'm thinking of picking up on DVD when it comes out, something I don't do often with movies.
I'm disappointed that it didn't succeed as well in theaters. I think the TV ads didn't sell the film properly. I think the movie posters and stand-ups didn't sell the film properly, at least the ones around here. It's not a straight up comedy or action or romance or fantasy film and in a movie market where a film is promoted as being one specific genre, they simply didn't know how to sell it. -
Well they certainly getting players to buy the natural pack. I've always considered the travel powers to be character flavor than something you consider while min/maxing.
Also it looks silly for a 8 ft robot demon to run ninja style down not to mention all the flipping. -
You'll save more endurance with end reduction in your attacks than in toggles or by enhancing Stamina. Also always slot end reduction before recharge. Doesn't matter if you can attack fast if your out of endurance.

Since this is a Player help Player section I doubt you'll get a Mod/Dev comment. You need to contact actual game support.

I liked the one with the sidekicks. Then there's the Red Tornado and "son" episode. Then the Blue Beetle Vs the Green Lantern Corps. Then there's the JSA episode. There are a lot of serious episodes and yes, a few corny ones tossed in. But throughout, Batman is always Batman, deadly serious at all times.
As for Aquaman, he's the antithesis of Batman. He loves hamming it up, telling grand "fish stories" about all his battles. He's the boisterous friend that you put up with his tales because he'll always have your back.
Blue Beetle is post Kord BB so don't get too upset.
I enjoy it because other than later JLU episodes, you got to see a number of teamups with lesser DC heroes and villains. The further down the list, the sillier the episode in general. You will not like any of the Plastic Man episodes, guarantee, assuming you like your hero drama always serious. -
Magnitude 7.0 quake near Chirstchurch, NZ.
Hope that your damage was minimal, any injuries minor and your love ones are well. -
Yes Speed Racer was awesome. Still didn't see it in the theater. Didn't even rent it, borrowed the copy from the local library (all of our rental stores died). So I didn't help it in the box office.

Native rez on that Acer is 1366x768. Same rez panel used in 720p LCD TVs.
The P186H is their discount store special unit. At least it has a DVI and HDMI connector, a lot of cheap panels only have VGA.
No idea if this will help but here is the page where you can download the monitor drivers. -
Well first Zen_Watcher recommended it, I simply concur, despite it's fuglyness in my eyes due to some very excellent reviews.
Second, the i7-9xx series CPUs fit in a totally different socket (Socket 1366) and want it's memory in groups of three. The i5-750 and i7-8xx (as well as the i3 and i5 dual cores) use Socket 1156 and want it's memory in groups of two. Sticking in a third stick will force the CPU to access memory only half as fast because of the odd number. -
Pfft! Like Dr. Aeon didn't have a hurricane disruptor somewhere on the islands.

Ad rates are really cheap in the summer so $30 million does get some mileage. Also this wasn't a movie you would advertise to the viewers of NCIS, etc. Still the TV spots were poor.
Also true, Airbender did get the snot advertised out of it. Oddly enough it's doing well enough overseas, in countries that didn't run the original series. Over $250 gross worldwide right now. Still 19th highest grossing film in the US over the last year.
At least it's the most successful film, box office wise, for Edgar Wright. Now the question is will it take another three years for a Wright written and directed film? -
Well going from 2818 theaters in week 1 to 1269 in week 3 to 802 in week 4 isn't exactly slow either.
Vampire Sucks was in 3233 theaters in week 1 to 2434 in week 3.
And that's the thing. 2nd week box office per theater for SP was $2825 and it lost 1500 theaters. Vampire Sucks 2nd week box office per theater was $2068 and it only lost about 800.
And now the nearest theater to me that is showing SP is in a different state and an hour away while VS is still at all my local theaters. -
Wow, $30 million on advertising. See that's also a bad sign. Wasn't there also an ad blitz for Airbender? Also they didn't focus on selling it, the 30 second spots simply all looked like live action DBZ. The longer theater trailer was better, giving you an idea of the movie but the TV ones were just flashing lights and sound. How do you get people to a movie without telling them what kind of movie it is?
The poster in the infographic is 100x better than the Cera with guitar on red background that we got around here. If you weren't familiar with the comic you would have no clue what the movie was about looking at that. It wasn't until someone put up a trailer here, months before it's release, that I developed an interest to see it.
And you know what hurts. SP made more money per theater this week than Vampire Sucks, Lottery Ticket, Nanny McPhee Returns and Piranha 3D yet it's SP that gets kicked out of half of it's theaters.
Sadly the economics dictate that if you are going to do a movie or TV series with a limited following then you have to keep the budget under control. Sadly this is tough with SciFi or Fantasy. We've come to expect a certain level of "reality" in our special effects and short changing the CGI effects budget is easily spotted by gamers.
As for comic book movies, the big name titles had 30, 40 years of pent up demand from fans willing to go see them but small recent titles simply haven't developed the enough of a following to support a movie with a medium size budget. -
Because he's Dell.
Because it would violate the warranty, if it had any left.
They don't want to be bothered if you mess up the swap. It's awful cramp in there. You may dislodge other cables while you doing the swap (the pesky case button and LED cables as well as the front panel connectors).
A fair number of PSUs in a reasonable wattage range actually exceed the depth (length?) of a standard size ATXV12 power supply (140mm/5.5"). According to Dell's service document, there is a clip that is located behind the PSU that may help hold the PSU in place, besides the standard four screws which is likely at that depth (lenght?).
Then there's the problem of containing the excess PSU cable lengths to keep the airflow clean (cable ties and duct tape?) since nearly all PSUs now have cable long enough for most full size cases but this is a cramp microATX case.
That's what I can think of off hand why they are trying to dissuade you. There may be other reasons. At least the 570 appears to be a "standard" microATX tower case instead of the microBTX cases of old. -
Keyboard and mouse, the way it was meant to be.
