The Hub use to be Discovery Kids. Earlier in the week there was a hit piece on "The 99", the superhero comic based on the 99 attributes of Allah, is also coming to The Hub early next year.

Don't let the forum registration date fool you UberGuy, been here since before Issue 2 dropped.
But a nice explanation of the evolution of empty zone syndrome.
You need to toss in global channels that did away with crowds around Trial and TF contacts or crowds at the Tram stations looking to form teams to explain today's near ghost town status.
Heck while we're at it lets toss in the abandon/drop mission buttons for all of those "Defeat X in Y" missions, which at least forced players outside, now being dropped or bypassed.
The pendulum has swung way to far over to instanced missions since the early days. Maybe with all of the other changes, to debt, to the XP curve and to difficulty settings, maybe it's time to drop 1/2 debt and eliminate/reduce mission bonuses.
Just my two inf. -

Quote:Then what's the point with them? Why all the crime in the street? I miss the early days when you see dozens of players moving and fighting through zones. With all the ways you can take shortcuts nowadays from one zone to another I simply miss the enjoyment of sitting back and watch players flitting about to and fro.Zones are meant to be empty by design. Evidence: Mission completion recipes, Arc completion Merits, 50% debt inside Missions. That is why setting your LFT flags and using /sea are your friends.
Staring at motionless characters at Wentworths isn't the same as traveling down a street and watch other players taking out the "street trash". -
Castle with steampunk replacement arm.

Running gag with Esposito.
Hormonal Alexis "in love".
Beckett's surprise boyfriend.
Classic Stephen J Cannell credits for "in memory of".

I read somewhere today that "classic" indoor hobbies for kids are taking a nose dive, including model making, for video games and TV.

So we have a Toyota Sienna placement as well as a Subway.
I would love to see Awesome's giant shot off marble head as an art piece in his and Elle's apartment. -
It will likely work but likely not very well at the laptop's native 1920x1080 resolution, too many pixels and at UM settings beyond performance (lowest). It's a powerful GPU for a laptop but it's still rather middle of the road when compared with desktop models.

In all likelihood you were logged out and then logged right back in. Check your last visit time in the upper right corner.
It's damn aggravating when it happens. -
Part of me doesn't like this change. Zones are empty enough as it is, taking away crosstown station or ferry runs will just make it more empty.
I like flying over or jumping from rooftop to rooftop through those connecting zones and while I still can I'm sure I'll will start using this "shortcut" if I'm in a hurry and it'll eventually become ingrained as the way to travel. -

Saying no melee sort of limits the options.
Defender and a Controller. They can buff each other, double debuff the enemy, the controller can hold some critters at bay while the Defender can blast them at range? -
Well she was transferring out before they got stuck. She wasn't involved with Young since getting to Destiny. She also may have known about it for some time but only when confided in others when they were talking about staying on the Genesis Planet.

Quote:Please, I'm curious, what gaps? I have my own list but most are minor items like necklaces, shorts for males, more hats.I could understand the stop of devs from adding new free costumes if the game costume editor was close to be complete. But theres a lot of holes to fill, and plenty of old pieces to upgrade.
And I understand your frustration with boosters. I've been wanting both dog tails and height adjustment but they were both stuffed into boosters. The wedding and magic packs have the best selection of snazzy costume parts from my point of view with science coming in third. But the temp powers like Ninja Run or gender bending/height changing edit modes frost me more than the costume parts found there.
However I can't complain when an honest to God expansion like GR gets costumes. Just like CoV did way back when, you don't own it, you don't get access to them. And the Mac, Good Vs Evil, Collectors editions costumes were marketing perks for buying those editions, a carrot for newcomers. Since buying and applying those editions also granted another month of subscription it was a minor price to pay for those "unique" pieces for existing players. -
"Accelerated" pregnancy? Since there's rarely a date associated with each episode we don't know how much time actually passed or how far along she was when they first got to Destiny. So it didn't seem accelerated to me.
As for resolving it the way they did, well they did paint themselves into a corner. Unwanted pregnancy may be drama but baby on board is a nightmare. However baby tragically loss is drama but since the TJ character is one of the "major" characters on the show they can't simply have her be a basket case for a season so baby is spirited away to the Genesis planet so she has some reasonable closure. -
Can't find any PSU specs either on that box. But I don't expect them to be all that high give the HD 5450 they have in it.
The GTX 460 needs 140 watts more than an HD 5450 (160 Vs 20 watts). It also needs two, 6-pin PCIe power connectors. Pointing this out because the Cooler Master only has one, which is odd for a 600 watt PSU and I consider that fact to be an indicator of a much older or lower quality PSU design.
Sorry, you are going to have to crack open the case to check out if there is any physical reason, an obstruction or a special retention mechanism beyond the four screws holding it in, that would prevent you from using a "longer" non standard PSU. The opening in the rear is standard, about 5.9" x 3.4". The standard depth is about 5.5". However if a larger top (bottom) mounted fan is used or it has modular cabling, they tend to be deeper.
If you want a "low cost" modular PSU, the 600W OCZ ModXStream is modular, has a reasonable amount of power where it counts at 12 volts, and seem to be always on sale with rebates on top of it. On top of it Hardware Secrets, a site which tears down PSUs, analyze their components as well as test them under a range of loads, gave it a top rating. EDIT: Of course this power supply is longer than the ATX12V PSU standard because of the large fan and modular plugs, by about an inch. -
Star Trek shouldn't have dune buggies as standard equipment. 2nd they dipped into yet another Data prototype too many times already.

Welcome BlueMyth.
What other game added a feature to allow a player to stop earning XP because playing outweighed leveling? Have a major feature that allows players to do stories they might have skipped, leveled past or simply do them again because they enjoyed them? Have a teaming system that scales, allowing any mix of levels on a single team? Allows players to establish their character's "look" from level 1 and separate ability from appearance? Allows the player to adjust the difficulty of the enemies they encounter in a mission to be as easier or ridiculously challenging?
And while this game is casual those who enjoy tweaking their stats to the extreme are equally welcomed. Turn your character into a tiny god with careful use of crafted enhancements. Earn hundreds of millions by learning and understanding the market and crafting system.
It's not just super heroes. Want to be a John Woo action character, a time displaced medieval Knight, a creature that is thought of as merely myth, it's all available here. No need to be stuck in one MMO genre.
As it has been said before, Paragon Wiki is your friend. It's the accumulated knowledge derived from years of playing, edited by some of the more helpful folks you find in these forums.
Again welcome, I hope you decide to say with us for a while. -
I thought it was a great episode. OK the Yentl song was sort of forced at the beginning and I'm quickly getting tired by all of Rachel's choice of Streisand even though it makes a bit of sense, it's just to easy to fall back on.
And while it disrespects Kurt's wishes, we have no idea about his father's believes. Also it does no harm. None of his classmates are in a position to fly in House from Monday nights, or have a specialist in the family, sometimes all you can do is prey for someone to recover.
As I said, no harm. If there isn't a God or higher power, the others are just wasting their time and the results will be what will be. However if asking for help from a higher power or getting a flood of "positive waves" from the collective Gestalt consciousness of man wishing him well may have an effect, why not take it? What's the worst that could happen? It's not like they were asking Kurt to stop medical treatment. It's not like any were blaming his Dad's condition on Kurt's sexuality or Atheism.
That's the one problem I have with extreme Atheists. If they think that everyone who is religious are a bunch of superstitious yahoos then how does that affect them negatively? How is someone saying a "God Bless You" when they sneeze or Namaste when they greet them is so offensive that they go off on a rant rather than take the offer of good fortune?
This is starting to tread to closely to forbidden subject matter.
Again, I thought it was a good episode, the insertion and choice of songs fit the topic of the episode and I prefer episodes like this to ones like last weeks.
I hope they have a really good reason for using Rocky Horror songs in two weeks. However I doubt the club teamed up with the drama geeks to put on Rocky Horror. No high school would ever attempt that much less than one run by a vampire fearing Principal Figgins. Maybe a community theater group. Or the whole thing could be a fantasy episode that simply includes the cast, sort of like the end of season 4 of Bones. -
On one hand it's similar to Star Trek: Voyager. Stuck far from home, no way back yet, limited number of crew you can burn through as a plot point but on the other hand they have very limited resources compared to Voyager, no control (until recently) over the ship. It reminds me of an animated show because everyone wears the same thing every week.
Maybe next week they find some uniform supplies as well as a shuttle or two on the "other" Destiny. -
Should have put a question mark after turning, but you can't edit a threads original title.
-
They didn't even organize costumes into sets until Issue 12 even though they started to specifically give us sets back with GvE.
I'm plenty happy with just getting parts but it will have to until "CoH2" before we will ever see more than two colors per item as well as extensive asymmetrical parts selection. Then there's the whole issue with back details like quivers, sheaths and fixed wings. -
Well it's a semi successful show on a 2nd string network with less viewers weekly than a repeat of iCarly. We're lucky they don't draw in the special effects with crayon considering that to keep Tom Welling, CW had to make him executive producer of Hellcats as well as Smallville so he could be paid enough not to leave.

Woot! I was afraid due to the partial ownership by ABC of the first two seasons that this would never happen.
