    Ahoy. I'm new on dominators world so I have a few questions for ya folks.

    1- Is it possible to hold a EB/Hero/AV nicely? I'm only lvl 11 but I can't even hold a Boss of my lvl (just maybe for 1 second or so) ;(

    2- Since we are uber-squishy, is it a good idea to pick Hot Feet? Won't we take loads of aggro?

    3- Wich are the Fire must haves? So far I picked the first 3 powers but I guess at lvl40 my powers will be: Char, FireCages, Cinders, Bonfire and Imps. I don't know how Smoke and FlashFire works so I dunno if they are good.

    I've been reading several topics about sonic builds (uk and us boards) and it seems most people don't like /sonic powers just like sonic cage, disruption field and sonic repulsion. I admit I'm not an expert but for me they seem to be extremly useful. Imagine the following situations:

    1- Sonic Cage:
    Description: Encases the target in an impenetrable field of sonic waves. The target cannot attack or be attacked.
    I'll go straight to the point. You are in a CoT mission and you have to defeat Boss and guards. While u make ur way to the boss you'll certainly find the unloved Succubus surrounded by earth mages, spectrals etc etc.. Sonic Cage can be extremly useful here. Usually the team decides to pick on Succubus first because of its annoying power and placates. With Sonic Cage you can just take her off of combat while u take off the stewpid minions and lieus. Then you wont have a problem bashing her when shes all alone. Another situation is when you have more than one boss in the same room. You Sonic Cage one while the team bashes the other.

    2- Disruption Field:
    Description: You set up a constant wave of sonic energy around an ally, weakening the Damage Resistance of all nearby foes.
    For me this one seems pretty obvious. Just give it to a brute.. Usually brutes go straight to the Boss/Av/Eb/hugemobs and smash them while building fury. With the Disruption Field, brutes will weaken all foes around'em, making the target much easier to be killed.

    3- Sonic Repulsion:
    Description: You create a powerful sonic resonance around an ally, repelling all foes nearby. You will lose endurance for each target repelled.
    This power might depend on your interest for Raids and PvP. Giving Sonic Repulsion to a MM/Controller/Dominator will avoid the AS's of Stalkers on Raid missions and PvP. */EA Stalkers might be able of AS across repel shields, but if you give'em Clarity they will have +perception, so they can just avoid the stalkers easily.

    Once again, I'm just a rookie on Sonic builds and this is my opinion only. Maybe those 3 powers should be picked only at higher lvls, after you get stamina, but they ARE useful.

    My first MM

    I dont like Bots that much because of the annoying sounds. And yes, I noticed there are loads of bot/ff MMs. Usually I like to pick the less common set. My corruptor, for example, is a Sonic/Sonic. You don't see many around and it kicks-[censored]. But then again, just like robots, they really need to change the sound of it.
    Back to the topic, I'm pretty sure I'll pick dark as secondary. Just can't make a decision about picking Mercs or Necro. Comment at will, evil soldiers.

    My first MM

    Ahoy! Since CoV's release I've allways said to myself I would never play a MM. It seems far too easy and uber boring to buff them everytime they die. Anyway, I got 2 lvl40's, a brute and a stalker, now I'm trying the other ATs. I'm thinking of picking one of the builds:

    Mercs/FF
    Mercs/Dark
    Necro/Dark
    Bots/FF

    I don't like Ninjas that much (no offense for those who play it and own with it). So I would appreciate if you could tell me the pros and cons of each build.

    My Sonic/Sonic is now lvl10. So far I've skipped Howl and shockwave from primary. Can any of you tell me wich powers are the must haves pls (from the primary set only)?
  9. Once again, integration doesn't need endred. I don't have Combat Jump so I can't comment on that. But if u run out of end with combat jump, then slot combat jump. Try to play without CJ and u wont run out of end.
    And about hiting SR's.. every sets got their pros and cons. SR is the dodge mastery. Its hard to hit no matter what. However, you won't fight SR's only, so I think the slot could be traded by endred OR put accuracy in some other attack.
  10. By having a lvl40 claws/regen I would change a few things:

    About the powers:
    The powers choice is good. You did well by not picking Revive and MoG (stealth and hasten are good powers to pick instead)

    About the slotting:
    I would change a few things.
    1- I wouldn't slot Health. It's a waste. Put it somewhere else (ie: slot resilience with dmgres).
    2- I would't put 3acc's on AS. 2acc 3dmg and 1 endred is the best choice since buildup alrdy gives extra accuracy (yes you can hit ninjitsu and SR stalkers).
    3- Integration doesn't need endred. You can put it on Hide or in one of your attacks

    I don't think it is very wise to pick a secondary set if your only getting one power from it. Anyway, I'm building this stalker for pvp only. So far I know I will pick Kinectic, Power and Entropy shields. Also picking Repulse, Enrgy Drain and Overload. Not so sure about Conserve Power. I wonder if with Conserve+Energy Drain we can do well without stamina. For pool powers, I'll get Stealth and SJ.

    I'm rolling a few stalkers atm to check wich one is more promising for pvp. Ninja/SR is ok but EM/EA seems to kick-455.
    Is there any must-have or must-dismiss powers on EA? If u can post a build will also be gr8. Thanks

    Dear Corruptors,

    (This is my second topic, since my 1st one didnt appear. Sorry for any inconv.)

    I'm having some rest of melee AT's. I'm thinking of building a corrutor but I need a few sugestions:

    Fire/Dark - lvled one til lvl8. Tar Patch + Rain + Fire Blast is a great combo. True solo monster here.

    Dark/Dark - Say byebye to your accuracy $target

    Dark/Rad - Debuff monster?

    I can't make a choice here. I love Dark, so maybe Dark/Dark or Dark/Rad will be my choice. I just need some sugestions. (Btw, I'm going to teamplay, but as you know, sometimes it is hard to find a team or u just dont feel like teaming).

    Another question is: If I go to Dark/Rad, do I really need Stamina? Hasten+3Rech on AM could make it perma?

  14. How bout the primary? I got a Ninja/SR lvl8. I picked ninja blade because of my toon's name: Miyamoto Musashi (best samurai ever). But then I look at EM dmg and I get jealous.

    And.. SR is better than Ninjitsu for pvp? As far as I know the dodge is better
  15. I got some experience with SS so I think I can give my opinion:

    1 - Grab Jab and Boxing as soon as you can. Why Boxing? You'll want to grab Tough. Its a great ally when you're fighting 3lvls higher mobs or EBs/AVs/Heroes.

    2 - In my SS/Stone I skipped Handclap and Hurl. I do fine without it. I like to play in team, so I don't think Hurl is necessary. I tank the mobs, if minions start running I let the corruptor/any other kill'em.

    3 - Auto-Brawl, Jab and Boxing are fury builders. I wouldn't waste slots on them. 1acc and 1end.red on Jab and Boxing would be the best choice.

    4 - Punch: 3 slots. 1 acc 2 dmg OR 1acc 1end.red and 1 dmg

    5 - Haymaker, Knockout and FootStomp are you're main attacks. You start building fury with Brawl, Jab and Boxing, then you finish them with this ones.

    6 - Rage: 3 SO's recharge will make it perma or almost perma. I added 1End.Red to it cuz when Rage runns off it takes a good piece of end with it.

    7 - Footstomp: 6 slots: 2acc 2dmg 1endred 1recharge.

    8 - Haymaker: 1acc2dmg

    9 - Knockoutblow: 2acc2dmg1end.red

  16. Ahoy baddies! After long time of playing with some other chars I decided to create a pvp-only char. I have a lvl40 Claws/Regen but I don't think I can be almighty with it, since I can't dodge much. So I've been thinking of a Ninja/SR or EM/SR.

    Any opinion is welcomed. And if u could tell me wich powers of SR I should pick and how to slot it, it would be great. Thanks in advance
