  1. I'd suggest taking Hasten and Sonic Cage. Most people don't like cage powers that much but I find it to be a life saver sometimes. It requires some experience to know when and on which target to use it, but then it ends up being a very nice tool.

  3. Spines/Fire for AoE, Claws/Fire for ST damage. Stacked Follow-Up + Fiery Embrace = Pwn!

    (assuming Fiery Aura will come with Fiery Embrace, that is)

    Whilst You are most probably correct about Cold Domination (i'm pretty certain that will be the one defenders get too), what is your basis for suggesting Thermal would be overpowered? I've not played the set, but it seems to combine elements of Empathy, Sonic and Kinetics, all of which are available to Controllers.

    Maybe I misused the word "overpowered". What I meann is that there should be a line between villain and heroes powers. For me Thermal and Empathy are two of the greatest sets of the game, therefore it's a good thing they're on opposite sides. Giving Thermal to heroes and Empathy to villains feels just wrong imo.

  9. I know a few Stone Tankers who only use Granite for AV battles and they do just fine. It really depends on the team who you're tanking for anyway.

    I'm trying to max recharge so I can have permanently 3 LS, 2 FR and 2 Nados out. Do you guys think I can improve this build without changing powers (EPP could be changed)?

    PS: I know this is ridiculously expensive but I will get there Earth/Storm is a blast and I shall spend all my inf on it if I must.

    Yes. Swift boosts both runspeed and flightspeed. Put some Flight IOs in there and hover will be fast aswell.

    I just said I like the power. I team 99% of the time, so there is a good chance I have a troller on my team with -kb immobs. Besides, I like to use it when I streethunt.

    Slotting:
    . Flash Arrow: I would never slot it. But I guess you did it for IO bonuses so it's all good.
    . Acid Arrow: IIRC it isn't auto-hit. Either you pick Aim and pop it before using AA, or place at least 1 Acc IO in there.
    . Fly: Move those 2 extra slots to swift. The flight speed should stay nearly the same and it would boost your runspeed and Hover aswell.
    . Oil Slick: It is such a sweet power to have it maxed. I really would consider to go 3Rech/3Dmg instead.
    . Stunning Shot: Needs accuracy.

    Powers:
    . Flash Arrow: Read above.
    . Ice Arrow: You'd be better off debuffing. I only find this power useful for trollers
    . Stamina: It is skippable. Especially with Conserve Power and a couple EndRec bonuses
    . Ranged Shot: Again, you'd be better off debuffing Take Aim instead (use it before RoA, Oil Slick, Stunning Shot and Acid Arrow).

    PS: Personally I love Explosion Arrow. Lovely animation and OK damage.

    Out of the little I know about PvP it seems to me that Ice/Nrg and Fire/Nrg are the most common choices. I like Sonic/ and /Elec but I really can't tell how good it is for PvP. Elec is said to be relatively weak when it comes to ST damage.

    1) From Kinetics: Repel and Inertial Reduction (for solo PvP/PvE, you can drop SB and ID too). Not so sure about Electric.

    2) I could be wrong but I guess SC does -33% Endurance to Target (PvE) and -12.5% End to Target (PvP). So I believe you would have to spam a few Elec attacks to actually cause them any trouble. Maybe with Power Build Up you can do something tricky.

    3) I believe 3 slotted Swift and 2 slotted Fly would cap it.

    4) Dunno how long it lasts, but you'll have a hard time killing them indeed. Your damage output isn't that good.

    That's it.. It isn't much but hopefuly some experienced PvPer will come and help you out and a lot better than me.

  22. All Epic Pools are decent. From Electric Mastery you'll get Thunderstrike (paired with LR and Sonic -res you should get a decent amount of damage), S/L + Energy armor, ST immob and Power Sink (quite handy to recover your Endurance once in a while, but it doesn't make Stamina skipable).

    If you need more information about the Epics, check this guide. Some numbers might be out of date but overall it's pretty much the same.
