Create your Fire/Rad, level it up a few levels just to get the basic feel for it down and then come on over to Talos and join us.
Do not worry if this is your first or 100th controller. Having a bunch of crazy FRads running all out is a sight to behold and you are sure to learn a few things and laugh like mad.
Lately the turnout has been high enough for two teams to run, usually between a group that does a TF and those that do radios, different TF, or story content (such as the group that did the Midnighter's Arc to prep for ITF goodness).
And on another note I will not be there tonight. After I get home I have two toons or more that I need to do a respec on before the new issue drops.
Good luck and have fun everyone! -
I think that it will cause Atlantis to rise from the depths.
Hmmm, maybe in i21?
I am not much of a red side player so I do not have much of an opinion on exactly what will happen but no matter what the immediate effect I expect things will smooth out quickly enough. -
Being an Opheliac myself I am quite happy about that and I usually only giggle that hard when I am about to do something... drastic.
To the OP, you are evil and destroying the game! Just wanted to be the first to say that to you, welcome to the Markets. -
I checked to see how far away I was to completing a few of the memorization badges and not really that far after this weekend. That is a nice little bonus! Plus I love the idea of taking the salvage from a night of adventuring and using it to craft IOs. Even if they do not sell I have a bit of a case of alt-itis and could always use them elsewhere.
-
Everything ended up selling this weekend. Just a few million INF but it was a good practice run. I immediately turned around and used the funds for some low level IOs I want in that toon's build.
Thanks for the replies everyone. -
I have sold probably 20 or so commons since late last night and the last two I posted before logging sold before the countdown started, at almost 300% profit. Was not a huge amount overall but it is more than what I had.
Thank you for the feedback and yes, I am aiming for learning a few recipes to cut costs even more. -
I have a mid 40s Scrapper that I want to IO out rather nicely so I decided to try and be a bit more serious with the Market.
So last night I decided on a whim to see what common IOs I could use to make a few million INF. I already had 15-16M on the toon but wanted to get a feel for things before jumping into the deep end. I found some level 35 IOs that were going for more than double the crafting and salvage price and thought I found a nice niche. I put bids in and scored about 7 recipes real cheap and then picked up the salvage.
After crafting most of the IOs and putting them on sale I logged for the night.
Logged in this AM and all of the IOs had sold and crafted a few more only to find that someone was starting to dump them at a really good price (a third or more less than what had been the going rate). I decided to leave the two additional ones on the market in hopes that the price will edge up and they will sell.
Found another IO that seemed to fit the bill. Put bids in and scored a bunch of recipes and some salvage. In the time I went to craft the IOs and come back to put them up for bid someone dumped a bunch in at about half the going rate. I adjusted a bit and placed them up for bid anyway and a few have moved. I really expect the rest to go in the next couple of days anyway.
Does this happen a lot across the board with common IOs? Or am I just having a run of somewhat bad luck? Somewhat because I still managed to pull in about 2M inf for about 20 minutes worth of work. -
I had one KM Scrapper on test and she performed well in the early stages, quickly putting down PPD and other foes.
I never thought that the animations were slow but they are flashy and can be stringed together to look pretty awesome.
My initial thoughts were that 1) it was about average on DPS and 2) ST oriented. I love my Kat/DA so that #2 was no big deal to me.
Will I create one after GR releases? yes. Right away? No. I also created my first stalker (KM/Nin) and she was all kinds of fun on test. -
Warshades are fun and I love my Tri-Form. Then again I love my human only PB too so I am a bit biased when it comes to the epic toons.

The ITF was a lot of fun and if I am around next week I would not mind running it again. The tank we picked up was funny and pretty laid back. It is nice when a PUG is pretty much all on the same page. I actually had to laugh at a few of my faceplants although I lasted much longer on our first assault against Rommy than I expected.
The run last night was worth (to me) 1.9 levels (I had leveled to 41 right before we started), about 9 badges, new costume parts, one awesome drop (BotZ) that I needed, and 2M in Inf. If I not had disconnect issues (twice) I probably would have leveled again. -
Hmmm... I wonder if I can get a Tank to 50 in time... LOL

Looking forward to tonight. It has been awhile since Nuclear Fyre got to run around and have fun.
-
Also on Virtue. Also have an all human PB. And a WS. And a Stormy Defender (in the mid 20s I think) and I also have a BS/SD Scrapper that is slotted for extra KB in Head Splitter. I love throwing the baddies across the room.

Get on a team running at +2x8 and see if you can get them to complain that they have nothing to do because the warshade is wiping everything out.
Oh and congrats on the market and IO success. -
Another convert here and yes, please look at what you get on your drops. I went through a couple of radios, helped with an AV or two, and ran a very short AE arc that I enjoy (but does not give a lot of tickets if you only do the first part which is all I ever do. I ended up with 600 or so) and turned that maybe three hours of "work" (across two nights) into 100 million inf and that is without any purples or Hami-Os or trading in of merits.
I do not do this all of the time but it is pretty nice to be able to do it every so often just to be able to pick a few things I would like to have for my toons such as a stealth or kb recipe. -
I am on holiday when it releases but will be spending most of my time swimming and doing things in that big box called the real world.
And then logging on late at night to get my first Praetorian rolling along. -
I have an Arch/Nrg that has not received a lot of attention lately but what I liked at the earlier levels was this:
Attack from range
Bad guys close the gap to get into melee
**Pow**
Attack from range after KB throws them a bit -
They may take our lives but they will never take... oh wait, guess that they did.
-
It probably is not all that uncommon for someone to type in the wrong amount for a bid: buying or selling. It is lucky for the OP that it was in the amount that it was so therefore, it is both common and lucky.
-
I have an Elec\Nrg Blaster and did a raid again last night.
What I tend to do is use my build up, aim, power boost, and ST damage on the heavier hitters/bigger problems (Magus, Mesmers, UG, etc) and then plop down Sparky and then use my Ball Lightning and Short Circuit to hit as many of whatever is around me as possible.
Tactics wise I stay in the middle next to a lot of other squishies in case I get mezzed. Usually there is a lot of healing going on there and I can be held or mezzed in relative safety. -

Well Dechs I am redoing my final build for my Tri-Form Warshade and thought I would focus some of my attention to the areas that you highlight. I will need to respec and am only at 44 at the moment but I hope for big things. It also helped that I brought her out of the dusty corner (it had only been a week since I last used her) and teamed up with a few PuGs to see how my play style functioned and what I might need to make it better. What is really nice is that the new re-vamp brought the cost down considerably.
Now to just get the respec out of the way and start playing the market game to get her properly kitted out.
Thanks for the guide and hope that our Warshades meet sometime. -
