I was sent a new code that worked perfectly. I will probably give them another shot next month. Thanks for the heads up.
-
I just made a purchase of the 60 day card and when I entered it into the NCSoft site I was told that it had already been used. I just contacted the company and am waiting on a reply.

yes, the more bodies to absorb and/or explode, the better. My 'shade tends to do best on the BAF with teams that pretty much ignore the adds. Keeps my resistance up through the roof with a lot of damage and self healing being thrown around.
-
My human only PB did something I thought was impossible. I had been running a bunch of iTrials with her and was getting one Common drop after another. ::sigh:: I thought to myself, this is the toon that I shocked one of my SGs with because she was awesome, what am I doing wrong?
So I set out to dish absolutely as much damage as possible. I ate reds, I exploded, I hit some things, and shot other things. Nightstar rolled in and I made sure to leave a mark. Too much of one, I stripped aggro completely away and she came after me with a vengeance. I had my shields up, endurance was going great, and I had SB on me. I pulled back on the second ring to take on the adds and the tank grabbed her again.
The end of the BAF I was rewarded by being able to select a Very Rare component. So the problem was me not being aggressive enough and having it too easy with a few of my other toons. It was a lot of fun. -
I started writing one out for a Human Form PB using Timeshadow's and Dechs' guides as references but I just have never had the time to do much. Plus I am still tweaking my own toon with the Incarnate powers.
-
Then whatever you do, you must never, ever watch this.
-
I second the MFing Warshade path and also suggest a Kat/DA scrapper. They take a bit to come into their own which makes starting one during 2XP a nice start. I did my sets for well below 500M (had some nice drops on the way and bought some of the more expensive pieces with merits) and she is a beast.

There is a section for PBs and WSs and you should check it out, lots of great people and info there.
1) Human form. Nova and Dwarf have their own innate Resistance.
2) Hasten you will need to be in human form to allow it to fire but the effects carry over to the forms now.
3) Inherent fitness impacts all forms.
4)There are some changes coming. If you have multiple respecs to burn I would not worry so much. If not then you may want to wait for the issue to hit. Mixed reviews on those changes so far.
5) Slip on down to our own special place under the archetypes and post a build. THere are people far better than I at that stuff who will be glad to help
Head to:

and have some fun. Learn about some binds that will make life a bit easier. The above info should be correct but like all things on the Internet it may not be. LOL. -
And ice cream. You cannot have cake without ice cream.
I love my human form PB, she kicks butt (and for the purists, yes I use lightform) and the only thing that stops her from being unstoppable is the end drain. Even with the proper Alpha slotting to mitigate that I find that I quickly run out of endurance. Would I love to see some tweaking? Sure!
Her back story involves a bit of ill luck, time travel (on the noodly alien's part), and a general conspiracy. Oh and did I mention that I set it to Iron Maiden's Paschendale and Infinite Dreams? Need to finish it though.
I just created my first Energy blaster and she is a lot of fun. However, I still prefer my PB and WS. -
+0x2 does not cut it anymore. Simply not enough bodies to fuel the 'shade. Slotting the two sets of Posi finally made a difference for accuracy and I find that everything is hitting more often. Now that I have more recharge I can keep three fluffies out if I pay attention while shifting through my powers (because there is no such thing as forms with a MFing 'shade!).

Will do. Yes, I replaced essence drain with dark detonation and threw a random multi enh IO in it. Great for helping put everything into the corner and hits pretty often.
While it is a bit different, I find that it suits my play style just fine. I ran through an AE mish with my fluffies and could stay in human form the whole time or shift to get through it a bit quicker. The bronze 35-39 reward rolls have snagged me a few IOs that I needed. Still only running at +0x2 until I can pick up and slot a few more IOs. -
I am running a slightly modified version of your build and it is fun. So far I have not had any issues at all and I am barely done on slotting IOs. In order not to lose some sets I had I placed them back into the build for now.
Thanks again for the feedback. -
I truly appreciate the feedback and I am currently working on a build using a lot of what you suggested. Thank you for explaining exactly what you disliked as it helps me out quite a bit.
-
I am currently patching and it seems to be stuck @ about 34%. Scratch that, it just went through all of a sudden.
-
Thanks for the feedback. My build has been working pretty well and I have yet to not use a power that I have slotted. There have been teams that have "arrested" so quickly that I have hung out in human or nova form. Or stuck in Dwarf to tank an AV if needed.
Question: You stated that Essence Drain is not needed but then you used it in your build. Any reasons why you changed your mind?
I now have two Armageddons that I hope to incorporate.I really want to get her not really final build done to optimize as much as possible. She's been a lot of fun so far.
Again, thank you. -
249 views so far. Any feedback? Still trying to work on this build and have taken a look at a few others but haven't found anything that makes me think, "Aha! That's it!"
Thank you. -
I achieved the Mo-BAF last night and did indeed get a random rare drop into my inventory and then a pop up for Common.
-
I threw my build together as my PB leveled. After gaining Nova I decided that she would be human only and stopped using Nova in the 30s and stopped all together by the 40s. Respec allowed me to drop it all together and re-assign the slots. IOs were whatever dropped along with SOs. MOF, I still have yet to finish her build out and need to update my plans to take the new issues into consideration.
She is, to date, the fastest leveling toon I have had period. Solo missions, teams, TFs... she and I went through it all and before I knew it she had dinged. I never had that much of an issue. I rarely use inspirations and I play her as a blapper with a heavy emphasis on the scrapper part of that equation.
Take some time to figure out what you want out of her and then burn a respec trying to get there. Recipes are getting easier to obtain and the new Incarnate levels and abilities allow us to fill in any holes (Alpha = yay endurance!).
I am not some awesome PB or WS playing expert or fiend. Heck my builds are not even that strong but I do have a lot of fun and do not faceplant (much) while running through the new content. -
I have not been happy with the iGrind. the "NEARLY" has me concerned and I am sorry to see the Booster Packs go. However, if I can finally get the KoA costume I might be moderately happy. Overall I do not expect this to impact the game much except a short spike in new players using the Free system. I play for free on DDO but rarely log in, my game time is limited.
Truthfully this does not sound like a big game changer. -

I know for a melee character most people would say Invisibility is pointless -
You young whippersnappers and your pre-assembled computers! Get off my lawn!
Seriously though, assembling a computer can allow you to slowly expand and end up with a nice, high end system over a period of time. I have been building my own for decades and have a hard time doing anything else, outside of the laptops I purchase. -
A warshade can put up one hell of a fight but when I think of scrapper, it is my human only PB that comes to mind. Perhaps it is because the toon I have received a lot of, "OMG I had no idea that PBs..." responses. Maybe it is because that, for me, she is insanely fun to play (not that my ever evolving WS is not). I jump in and just wail on the closest bad guy. One, two punch and on to the next one.
Right now I am slowly bringing her up to incarnate level. Cardiac for the alpha because with all of the shields, tough, weave, and maneuvers she eats through end like it is going out of style. -
Seriously, that is the solution? I mean, really? That is beyond sad. I will just wait for it to go on sale again and hope that it lines up when I get paid.
