  1. Im not sure what to say really, melee toons will be good by the looks off it. Trollers will be even more dominant in duels.
    And the heal resistance is funny, just make the emp heal a few times and its home free for a spike (if its possible by blasters).
    Kin´s will be epicly needed for team pvp IMO for movement.
    Sure brings new things to pvp this, im not a fan off some changes, but ill atleast try them out.

  3. Just wanted to say a big THANKS for the EPIC pvp in RV yesterday that went on for 3 hours (maybe more? )

    started off with being 5 vs 5 and ended upp with like 13 vs 13 ? was hard keeping count

    Was a nice mix off members from Gathering and Retribution sg/vg´s, and a few casual pvp´rs , prob the best pvp night in RV in my entire time in CoX. Might stick a bit more with this game now

My fav scrapper was spine/regen, untill i rolled fire/fire, fire/fire is so much fun, both pve and pvp, the damage boost from build upp and fiery embrace (+200%) makes you almost 1 shot mobs with firesword circle , and in pvp fire melee is the damage king, even more then broadsword tbh. i once got AS´d and the stalker went for TF follow upp, but i fired off me heal, popped bu+FE and launched a greater firesword CRIT = DEAD em/regen stalker
    Was laughing so hard i almost fell off chair...:P

    I dont mind blasters getting a nerf, but this numbers are just silly tbh. a controllers hold damage with containment will just be HUGE, and throwing that hold will be auto imob iff im not wrong here? since a bf wont help anymore.

    Imagine a team off forts, domi´s and stalkers, would be pretty much unstoppable. Domi throw 1 hold, target freezes for 3-4 seconds= AS and fort spike, next and same again.

    I fail to see the balance in this, so could anyone explain how this is more balanced then before?

    Id rather just see melee tweaks to catch upp with kiting squishys and a reward system for pvp. And a lil nerf to blasters damage.

    Like rent said, this "change/nerf" is really the heavy handed bat for pvp.

  9. On the other hand, Fire/fire is a damage monster with both build upp and fiery embrace, unleash the AoE´s and the scrappers/blasters wont have much work left to do. And if you have the luxury off teaming with a kin defender or troller at higher lvl´s, just wait for the fulcrum and let the barbeque begin :P
    Since firetanks rely on resistance and healing flames for survival (wich makes them a bit more squishy IMO, but still prob the most fun and challanging tank to play ).
  10. Better yet when it crits, all damage come at once, so the regen still wouldnt have a chance to heal either :P

Made my first run to rv with my fire/fire scrapp, and it pretty much overcome my expectations, was teaming with a emp and blaster, so i had fortitude and popped bu+fe and 1 shot killed a em/regen stalker O_o , with Greater fire sword crit,yes from from full hp btw.....so yeah, damage output on them you cant complain on

    Fire/EM - Advice

    my build would look like this, more pvp´ish but works like a charm in pve to tbh. blaze is upp every 2.8 secs, and capped hp (asuming you have the +hp accolades).
    Almost perma hasten, could change assault for maneuvers and squeze a extra lotg +rech and be even closer to perma hasten (down for 5.5 secs with this build) .

    kin/psi

    Kin/psi makes decent suport toon, maybe not as nice as Kin/elec but still good enough. Not much off a solo pvp toon unless you wanna kill melee AT´s such as brute´s, scrappers and tanks.
    I can post my Kin/psy´s build if you want. Its based around suport for team pvp.

  16. Im currently lvl´n a fire/fire scrapper just for the fun off it, and the damage output is just crazy tbh, try find a brute and pop bu+fe and just watch the thing die in seconds :P

    Thnx for X4 guys, shame it ended upp like it did for uss, would have been fun to play the final and maybe grab a "double" title but we broke rules using the subs we did. I wont comment any more in that matter cause i just cba with it, im still happy since we went undeafeted in every played match and that to me counts for something.

    Best moment for me was ofc the lightweight final and beating the germans with 4 on the team during the entire match

  19. Brute´s, scrappers,tanks and stalkers are the best way IMO to start pvp with. Yes you will probably get faceplanted when a experienced pvp´r with ranged powers such as blaster, troller, defender, domi, corr etc..but will help to understand how the game works, with kiting etc.
