I used maybe two, maybe three BF's. I'm Empathy/, I don't exactly need Respites.

And for the record Stalk-obot, I don't think staying just out of range and using Throw Spines/Impale almost exclusively 'fun'.

And for us, the fun is the challenge of standing toe-to-toe with a larger force. We PvP for a reason, we enjoy it, we enjoy getting the best from our builds and our toons. If we get crushed by better players or numbers, or because we're being silly, we take it in our stride. It's all good!

Myself and Imaginary dominating Sirens a few nights back, 2 Heroes vs 8-12 Villains.

Nothing quite like it.

Seriously though, to thank a few people.

Red Dragon: You welsh tart, you're one of the best people I've met on here, and a great bloke to just chat with. Though you may have a penchant for walking around at 6am in a strange town looking for Orange Juice, I'd take you over any other Fire Tank out there.

Needle: You're never around, but you're the head honcho of the SG, so you'll always have a place on my teams and a Fort on your head. Unless Imaginary shouts at me for giving it to you instead of him!

G-Zeus: Imag was right, don't ever change. One of the best Defender's I've ever teamed with, and one of the best arguer's I've ever had the pleasure to stay up until 5am debating with about life, politics, the state of the world, and of course, Star Trek.

Mesmer: What can I say, having you around always makes things interesting. Especially when you're on your scrapper and get horribly violated by +1's, I second your motion to bring Defense Scaling in, for a start, it'll help break the habit of me staring at peoples HP/End/Buff stats!

Nightbringer: Night, if I need a number confirming or an opinion about a power, you're the man. Just don't ever come near me on NB, I'm far too squishy for that punishment!

Imaginary: Danish? Check. Insane? Check. Squishy? Check. Solo'ing? Check! I still can't believe you Solo'd Lusca, nuff said really. You've always been there to team with me and the PD's, and for that we're all better players. Now, stop asking for CM damnit!

EternalStorm: One of the nicest, funnest, most laid back players I've ever had the pleasure to team with, and meet. Not only that, she's a complete Icon freak like me!

Empath: You're were one of the inspirations to keep playing my Empath, always on hand to offer advice and throw your two cents in. Keep buffing, keep healing, keep going to Icon.

Last, but not least, Xanthus: You've always been there, for coming up on two decades you've been at my side doing what you do best. Being you. Keep it up man, and just for the record, Gravity/Empathy FOR TEH GIMPZ0R!

There's many more I could name, and probably should. People like Midnight Chill, Funky Dragon, Plight, TG, Exo, Irenicus, Cordus, Xax and many, many others I've teamed with over the past... 11 months. Jesus, 11 months, can't believe it's been that long.

And finally, a big thanks to every single one of the Paragon Defenders, new and old. You make the game what it is for me, great fun.

I PvP a lot on her, usually in Sirens as that's where the main villainous incursion resides at the moment, and it's where my SG are the most active (or were two weeks back). A blown mobo as sadly shelved me for a while.

Defenders can be a defining roll in PvP, every single set (well... maybe not Trick Arrow :P) has some brilliant PvP powers. You just have to know how to use them.

Oh yeah, on all my toons I keep one eye on my power tray, it's the only thing that lets me know what's where. It's not so important on my Defender as I've got my recharge times pretty much down on brain-timing, but on my Blaster or Scrapper or any other toon I need that info, because I vary my chain so much.

As for the clicking thing, most of my toons have 80% of there powers on the Num Pad. But that mouse always gets a hell of a work out click wise as I've got targets to change, insps to use, powers to click that aren't bound...

The way forward isn't Click -or- Bind, it's being able to play your toon your own way. Simple as, Imaginary is freakishly fast and he's a click [censored], and I've teamed with Plight and his reaction speed is pretty slick too. Well, when he's not face down infront of a +3 mob.

Em... I forget the question... Ah yes, blapping. It's all about knowing what to hit when! There's no point brawling a boss, or using Total Focus on a minion with almost no health (unless you like showing off).

Extremus is currently [censored] the Fire Mastery ancillary pool.

And you'll want to delete Mesmer as Mes' re-rolled that toon to a Controller. :P

Fire/Ice for the hardcore blapping frustration!

I'd say Ice/Elec or Elec/Energy.

My priority with Fort goes as follows:

1) Imaginary
2) Nightbringer
3) Blasters
4) Kheldians
5) Scrappers/Controllers
6) Tankers
6) Defenders

I find that a good blaster with Fortidude makes things a LOT easier.
