looks pretty cool, not much i'd change other than maybe a few enhances around. the only thing i'd say is, maybe if you're slotting the dwarf that you may want to put some slots in taunt, it'd allow you to take the heat off team mates a bit - worth noting its not an auto hit power :\

Not against +4s either?
[/ QUOTE ]
+4 you can hit them but everything gets so severely crippled vs +4 i avoid fighting them - your damage is slaughtered and your debuff is ruined. -
other than tweaking the actual enhances around a bit it looks ok to me
things like - nova attacks dont really need acc in them with 2 (or 3) tohits in the form itself -
i dunno, i found that tri form sacrifices the human build too much, hence i went human/dwarf first and then respecced to triform and also made a new triform warshade from scratch
going nova at 6 means your human powers seem to be completely wasted till level 12 and very enimically slotted. -
looks scary expensive
but good, if theres any changes you'd need you could tweak it as you go along, should be a fun run
last thing i found was in teams of less than 4 i found the character seemed to under perform, so try stick to big teams and always always take a tank with you(recommended colour scheme for tank is green and pink).
-
best thing for io i can recommend is a kb resistance io for your default secondary resist power Absorption.
-
its going back a while since i had this build as i swapped into atri form at 50...
basically powers 44 - 49 are just fillers, so it doesnt really matter what they were about.
the human side was built to disorient as much as possible, so standard attack was to hit the group as the tank reaches them with gravitic emination and then move into the middle of them and let inky aspect stun everything up to a boss.
next put the hold on a minion, mire then shadow blast the same minion, he should be dead now. unchain essence and everythings stunned entirely, including the bosses, then extract essence and start mopping up.

one thing i have learnt and i dont really know if anyone will agree with me - those who have done it....
i played human/dwarf it was immense fun, then swapped to tri form, totally different game on the same character... so maybe what im saying is - each differnt build for a kheild is so vastly different from another that they demand teh same sort of air time as you would any other class...
so by example, you have a storm defender, you have a empath - completely different but still defenders... tank or human or squid or triform, tehy are all khelds, but they are chalk and cheese, all can be enjoyed.
i know im onto my 2nd pb and i really wanna start another ws now... -
10th fifty ding last night for Psygon aka Mo Jebus!!!!
grats to you psy, looks like i have a little catchup to do!

i tried it on another scrapper but found that only the SR scrapper with 3 slot hover, quickness and swift all with flys was ok - and i think the only reason i think it was ok was because they are broadsword which is a fairly static scrapper primary already.
certainly in contrast to my flying tank, i find that my tank pretty much fights exclusively with fly on rather than hover as hovers just that 1 slot too slow (one thing ED i dont agree with)
Edit: good tip though, for super speed mobility in the air as hover - use the GvE jump pack, it speed bursts hover pretty nicely -
i took tough up at 41 and it worked out ok, before then i didnt really see the need for it too much.
-
both of them are ace fun, as others have said the pb is pretty cool straight out the box but i found my WS taking up to about 20 to really start going places (non nova'd at that point).
im really enjoying my pb at the moment, heck the other day i managed to get it into the top 10 punishers and in the top 10 healers, that was pretty cool fun right therei've found it very diverse and fun to play - the WS was very team dominant character once they were up to speed, real battle shapers.
-
i stopped taunting and ran off, they got slowed by mudpots and wiped out on the team.
-
two taunting tanks can cause issues if they perpetually try to overtaunt each other all the time, but two tanks on a team works very well...
as an example i teamed my fire tank with a stone tank for a fair amount of the late 30s early 40s, basically i was the support go getter, taunting the escaping mobs and bringing the groups back to the stone tank and team. it worked so much better than have the stone tank do the running around. -
as many as you like, its account based so you can have a 50 on one server and a pb / warshade on any server.
-
yes, i agree with you spad a good bit of chaos makes it much more interesting to play.
comments on inv/energy - or even just energy, i think this set doesnt really come into its own until you have whirling hands and energy transfer, its a real late bloomer.
damage - i'd say that stone melee is one of the most satisfying tank secondaries, you just have so many toys to play with and like energy transfer, its very satisfying to build up and siesmic smash an orange con to arrest in 1 hit. -
i dont think its a bug tbh (or something that needs fixing), the baddie literally aint there half way thru to extract from so you miss a pet, same with the kin heal - they are dead, so how do you expect to transfer health and endurance from them, they're dead and dont have any of either.
-
hey, dm/regen is a really fun set - my first 50 was that and i still enjoy going back to it now, nothing compares to the speed of attack chain you can get out of it.
1) i got DC when i became available and still use it both for endurance but also as a double whammy hit with soul drain, they are your only real aoe's.
2) resiliance is good to reduce stun time as well as resists, myself i didnt get tough, the build for what i wanted was already way too tight to have a wasted power in boxing/kick
3) MoG is great, even if you find you dont like it its worth taking just to experiment with it for 3-4 levels and spec out. MoG's been in and out of my build over the last couple years but it keeps returning, its a really fun power
Considerations for DM:
DM has no knockdown of its own, it'd be strongly advicable to look at Air Superiority for your single target KB, it works very well with smite and shadow punch for a cheap quick and damaging attack chain.
ShadowMaul, dont let people tell you this is essential, its not. In the end of the day i chose to drop shadowmaul out my build in favour of being able to fast adapt and swap targets more, i miss the cone aspect of it, but i appreciate my ability to support the team better without it. -
if you extract off a corpse thats begun to fade you lose it.
its annoying for sure, generally i'll only extract right at the start of a fight or immediately after a kill i've made - so that i can be sure that it doesnt miss - however i still get caught out. -
huzzah, nice one peeps, its been a pleasure teaming with you on this journey

I'd advise you to sell off some of the rooms and standard items, then move all your personal items into one or two rooms (depending on size).
Downsize the plot and recreate the base, then moving the personal items back again. If you sell a room with a personal item still in it, you lose it and only get the prestige cost of placing it back! So be very careful.
[/ QUOTE ]
yep this is exactly what i had to do with the iron monkey base on revamp - effectively it was reducing it down to 1 workshop or a room capable of taking the storage items and then a miriad of tp rooms all over.
took a fair while of shuffling things round and trying new shapes to get things to fit - i used the 'upgrade plot' window quite a lot just to move the plot around rather than resize - to aid in deleting and rebuilding rooms.
its the reason the base changed so radically as all of those little cool design points on the wall all had to be ripped out to allow the base to be swapped about.
sometimes a bit tedious but i looked at it as a logic puzzle, 3d tetris
but becuase its such a destructive procedure it does make the base very static once you've min/maxed the plot size and put the design features back in. -
ah, tier 2 do that already
unless i have a tier 3 in the base already and i forgot
