Quote:A couple quick thoughts:My problem seems to be that I only get enjoyment from minmaxing, but I've already purpled out the heroes that satisfy that urge. For example, every time I try out new damage powersets such as demon summoning, warshades, or SoAs, or even SS/fire brutes, I inevitably feel dissatisfied because they don't measure up to my gold standard (my plant/psi dom).
1. Are you actually playing the game...running mishes, arc's, tf's or are u farming?
2. Teaming...is it PUG's only or SG only or a mix?
3. Plant/psi = gold standard...what exactly does that mean to u?
Here is why ask:
1.Nothing wrong with farming however it usually is the fuel to run the min/max mentality...i must earn more to buy more to sell more to gain more...its alot of more not better.
2.Find some good people to spend the ingame time with...if u already have that then spend some time alone(not all your time). Roll a solo friendly non min/max toon and run every single arc and earn every merit from arc's that you can. Spending some time researching arc's and temp pwrs u could earn by doing said arc's...this might help u enjoy the overall game alot more.
3.I'll have to ask plant/psi is your gold standard...seems odd but to each his own. Is this toon your fav because it can do alot of diffrent things... and do it pretty well? If so find another similar toon that is a jack of all trades and master of none and run it...team that new toon alot on big teams and focus on what you are doing and not what others are...find enjoyment on your unique toon...build a concept and run with it.
4.Lastly take a break...a week off might do the body/mind some good.
I'm sure you will figure it out...plus the future of the game looks so good that should count for something -

I would die laughing and i have a 3-1 scrapper vs stalker toons...however i love my stalkers just as much as my scrappers...the meltdown on the scrappers boards would be EPIC omg lol.

I will need to see the all weapon choices/models in beta...the first 3 looked awful(my opinion)...i hope this set dosnt end up like Demon Summoning for me meaning i just cant stand the look of the set no matter how it plays! I am hopeful however

ICE ICE Baby...i mean blaster and a my fav all time toon Magnus V a fire/rad controller. I loved playing Magnus at launch as there just weren't(seemed) any/many trollers out there on the streets. I also remember doing some street sweeping in Bricks...i had about 9 imps out and was casting another set when another fire/rad named Benes came jumping over my wall with his 10ish imps out...we chatted for a bit about our builds...it felt so good to see another fire/rad as i had only ever teamed/seen a earth/emp and ill/rad.

Quote:A super hero mmo shares alot of similarities with super hero comics...no one ever truely dies...they just go on holiday and come back refreshed and ready to take over the world or seek revenge or just to pick up their mailHey... Devs...
Listem to this thread...
Keep Coyote around, not only on a O-Mission... -
Quote:Ok I re-ran the Keyes with the same SG mates...this time it was a non master run and the out come was the same we won...however this time it was so much more fun...no random deaths for me...had zero problems figuring out when and where i was suppossed to be...basically had a great time...so ill come back for moar!Just ran Keyes last night and really enjoyed the last fight...however everything leading up to it was just well awful. Being killed exiting the hospice(yes hospice) not good, being killed on the way back to the fight not good, being killed while typing not good, and being killed while looking for team not good! I have no problem dying while fighting(seriously) but being randomly(they seemed) KO'd as mentioned above sucked the fun out of it...although i was laughing at myself and the design...so i give the trial a C-. I will give it a few more try's and read-up to see how i can improve but if i find i was doing exactly what i was supposed to i wont be back for this one...just wasnt fun enough and i believe i did more travelling than fighting!
Also noted that it seems the BAF has better rewards for me but thats non scientific...only ran 2 Keyes and 2 BAFS compared. -

Quote:Ok its on the list to see then...thanks for the write-up!The Directors cut put in a full 30 minute subplot that included Foggy coming to the fore. It has Nelson & Murdoch defending a ganger accused of murdering a prostitute. With Matt distracted by Electra, it's Foggy that leads the defence and, pivotally, Foggy that uncovers the murderer being Fisks right hand man. (Remember the line 'the word's out on the Kingpin' at the end of the theatrical? The Directors' cut gives you the story beyond that line that, quite frankly, is bizarre in the theatrical as it has no reason to exist.)
A number of scenes are also changed (including it being a cop who purjures himself in trial scenes telling him Kingpin kills entire families) and it's almost a different movie. -
Ok I missed the DD directors cut so could someone explain why it is so much better then the original...or is it a case of they added 2 or 3 scenes that make the total experience more palatable? I gave the original a C-...could have been a C+ had they not destroyed Bullseye.

Quote:Its really Veee however 5 works also since its 6 points higher than my iq...on a good day!Yeah, but you're Exodus FIVE. I mean, c'mon, just GO already!
"Exodus Five, the fourth sequel. We're really leaving this time. We mean it. We're serious. This is us, going. Look! We are leaving now!"
Back to the name I'll chime in for "Prime" also...its bold but not over the top. -
Ok the animation looks awful...and the voice on the trailer almost made me laugh...i'll stick with Young Justice!
