  1. Question, why could you just swap out a saved costume at the tailor?

So long as the cost of these slots was such that it paid the costs of development plus, sure. But I don't see the point honestly.
  2. SR seems to me to be in the same boat as Force Field. It's the best there it at what it does. Too bad it doesn't do much else.

In the era of IOs where having the ability to get to 20+% defense means the soft-cap is well within reach, Shield and Ninjitsu and other defense sets with other things going for them are just going to be considered better sets.
  3. I'm not trying to turn this into a KB debate. As I said, the main reason I do not suggest removing ANY KB from any power is because some people like KB. KB is a feature of Peacebringers. However, much one might not agree with that, that's how it is. I don't suspect this will change because people will complain.

I don't like how KB is implemented in this game. But that's not critical to this issue and it's not necessary to bring PBs in line with Warshades. The key issue is that at late game Warshades both have more damage and possibly more survivability with less downsides. That's not fair and it needs to be corrected.

I doubt that can be done without annoying someone's particular playstyle, but the KB thing is too critical for some folks.

How do you direct something that knocks everything in different directions? Honest question. The only way I can see to control Solar Flare's KB is to target it around mobs who are all facing the same direction.

It is a shame that mission 3 has mechanical problems, because it would be a lot more fun to fight up the hill, but it is just gruesome what starts happening to the server when you do that.
I interpreted that as do the objectives in a natural way, ie by running to them and doing them. Ergo, the ambushes, while a part of the mission need not be completed.

And its debatable what the Evasion replacement should be. Definitely nothing with regeneration or healing, because that would then make the powerset completely overpowered too early in the game.
    Scaling -dam?

First foe in range applies a 10% damage debuff; each additional enemy up to ten applies another 1% damage debuff to all enemies in range.

Worse, because the character has been played up as a master of deception (despite the fact that the writing that's supposed to depict that is woefully inadequate), he has effectively crossed the "credibility event horizon" for both characters and players. No one, whether character or audience member, would ever have any reason to believe that this time Nemesis isn't trying some to trick them with some weak and obvious scheme. In short: Nemesis is Lucy holding the football, and you're Charlie Brown. And even in Peanuts that was a joke, and so is Nemesis in any incarnation.
What if Mender Silos did a 100 hero morality missions Mr. Meanie?
  9. Poor OP. You profaned against KB. May Positron have mercy on your soul.

I would sign the idea, but I think it would be better if people could choose between the first two powers, then everyone is happy.
  10. No accommodation need be made for RP in this instance. If you believe you are too super, pretend you're not. That's what RP is, pretending to be something else. RP better.

Just to mutate this topic further, it's Scarlet Shocker's fault, not mine. I gave an example which clearly refuted her point, but as people are wont to do she/he felt the need to argue with the EvilGeko.

This lizard can't run from a fight. Sadly, I've turned into this guy.

I'm not saying this is desired or anything. Just wondering why it doesn't satisfy the requirements of the claim.
This is so far off topic...

Anyway, with a blind auction system, it doesn't matter if there were an additional "currency exchange fee." Such a fee is a fiction, not a requirement. I see where you're going, but then you don't have a merged market, you have two separate markets running on the same interface and accessible by both sides.

So long as a bid of 3000 infamy bought you something posted for 3000 influence, influence and infamy are the same currency, even if there are additional processing fees.

Bummer. Like GG said, that's a "yes".

BaB coming on and posting, "No, I'm still here," would have been the response otherwise. Good luck, Bab.

No it's not. It is possible to merge inf without merging the markets, but not the other way around. You merge the market, you must merge the currencies.

i.e. you posted a new thread when there were already threads on topic. At least that's how I interpreted it, and how it's been used in the past. I didn't call you a snowflake so not sure why the person who did said it. But I'll bet this is what he/she meant.

Merging the markets and merging inf is one in the same. You literally could not have done the former without the latter.

I am sensing the same Focused Intent in our OP. Do NOT bet against the reptile in these situations!

I knew it was only a matter of time before people started trotting that out. I'll see you in about four months. As I said when the merge was announced, I fully plan on my "I told you so" post six months after GR just to deal with this sour grapes objection.

Not that it's needed. The markets aren't even showing the hint of possible future problems, but the EvilGeko shall be patient.

No, it's not. The statement I was refuting was that the devs decisions were entitled to absolute trust and judgment. Positron stated that the market merge would do bad things to villains. It hasn't. FACT. Not bias, fact.

He was wrong, based on observable evidence in the markets, horribly so. As we told them since 2007, merging the markets would have no downside to the operations of the markets and it hasn't.
  23. Back on topic, but Incarnates if even close to what's been leaked (Damn you devs for leaving the EvilGeko out of super-secret beta, I can keep my mouth shut....well sometimes! ) then there will not be any undesirables anymore.

Everyone will be able to fulfill multiple roles.
