I'm not sure whether the OPs idea is a good one or not, but we can already buy things with money that provide real in game advantages. Of course, this would be an order of magnitude more powerful, but I don't think it's so easy to dismiss this idea. Particularly when considering the fortune telling power. Yes, it's random, but the buffs are quite powerful. Even the one minor debuff comes with a substantial buff.

[/ QUOTE ]It does??? It's been a long time since I've leveled a Regen, but this strikes me as unlikely. It's a good armor set solo leveling with SOs. It might be the best, though I'm guessing the nod might go to Willpower, and it wouldn't surprise me if others were better as well. But even if it is the best, “wipes the floor”? I'd be shocked if it outperformed all the other scrappers I've leveled up by that kind of level. Maybe I need to level another one up, though, just to see. Like I said, it's been a while.

Yes, it does; at least in my experience. The only set that might do as well is Dark Armor IMO. I've tried a number of the sets on test and Regen just holds up better without the many boosts that IOs provide. -

My guess is that he meant Integration (and I would add Fast Healing). Regen is never helpless. Weaker yes, but I can't think of a single situation in the game where Regen gets all its protection taken away. -

When you start fighting level 15s. They show up in the Council troops then. Are you seriously complaining about the weak Goldbrickers? There are a number of nastier debuffs (-recharge, -end, -recovery, -to-hit) and mobs that you get a lot earlier hero side.

Not really sure this is needed. With strictly SOs, Regen wipes the floor with most of its sibling armor sets. It's only these days when defense sets have been given an almost absurd bounty that we think of Regen as lagging behind.
For my money, I would prefer to have IO set bonuses that were stronger. Defense sets get these overpowered buffs from IOs, why can't sets that depend on healing/regen? If heal sets had much stronger boosts to +regen, +health, and +resistance, I don't think Regen would lag behind after the IO race is over. -

No, it wasn't that your idea was that bad. It's not a good idea, but it's not particularly needed either. It's just that there are a great number of people who get off on flaming people new to the Suggestions forum. It's sickening to me, and I really wish moderation would do something about it.
Honestly, I don't agree with your idea and I was going to simply ignore it and let it drift to the bottom. However, the trolls who inhabit this forum couldn't let you off that easy.

There's nothing to brave. I'm not on Freedom or Virtue (Justice actually), but I can go into Bloody Bay anytime of the day and get a Shivan unmolested. Justice isn't a low population server at all. It's just that even if someone else is in the zone, they're probably after a Shivan too.
Just get past your fear and go in there. It takes all of about 10 minutes and in some ways is easier for low damage ATs now that the zones up their damage and give them freebie resistance. -

I wouldn't have a problem at all with WSs getting a version of team teleport. Only reason I didn't mention it was I couldn't remember which power in the teleport pool they DIDN'T get and was too lazy to look it up. -

I got the 'magic' million inf for a common level 50 endrec. They were selling at about 500K, but sold out when I listed a block of 10, the first went for 1 million even. The other 9 sold out at decreasing prices down to that 500K. Thankfully I had the inventory of salvage to immediately craft another block of 10.

Last summer I was selling 35 damage IOs for 100K. The salvage was going for the ultra cheapo price of 1K each. More times than I could count folks would hit that extra "0" and give me the 1 million payday. Yours was probably on purpose, but nothing makes an ebil heart sing than free money that you don't have to feel guilty about not returning (since I don't know who paid it.)

I still get my salvage for 25K or less- usually 10K or so, but I've gotten sloppy, because I still make SO MUCH MONEY even if I overpay for salvage.

It depends on the recipe and the level, but basically, you memorize recipes by crafting enough of them to earn the badge for that recipe family.
For example, damage and KB commons are in the same family. To memorize level 35 and 40 damage and KB recipes you have to craft a certain number (10 I think) of both 35 and 40 damage OR KB recipes. -
Once you memorize a recipe, you no longer need a recipe to craft that invention and the influence costs are cheaper to craft it. Only common IOs can be memorized.

I think Kheldians are much better post I13, but I still think they lag far behind the Soldiers of Arachnos. Even the Bane, the weakest of the bunch is better than most Kheldian builds until well into the high levels (when Warshades get much better). My suggestions would be:
1) Human Form (both PB and WS) should have 1.0 melee/ranged damage modifiers;
2) Starting Passive (both) has 4 MAG protection to hold, sleep, disorient only;
3) PBs get Air Superiority and their KBs changed to KD. -
Only guesses at this point, but my guess would be:
1) Hero to villain. You're still a hero AT and continue to use your hero epics.
Villain to hero. You're still a villain and use the patron pools, even if you've never done the arcs.
OR
2) Hero to villain. You can use hero epics or new patron pools designed for the hero ATs. Villain to hero. You can use your patron pools or newly designed epic pools for villain ATs.
I hope it's option two, but I do think it will be one or the other. -

There's nothing wrong with Hide for Scrappers. It's just a combat invis. Just do the following:
1) Change the name;
2) Give it a .208-.26/second endurance cost;
3) Lower the hidden AoE defense bonus. Make the total defense bonus on the power 3.75%. -

They haven't said in detail how it will ultimately work out. It would seem there will be a morality compass as part of it. In addition to your actions making a difference there are two new NPC contacts that will be involved with changing factions. My guess is somewhere blue side heroes will find Maelstrom to go rogue, and villains can search for Desdemona to reform.

No, they asked Positron point blank in the Boomtown interview if side-switching meant you could take your Brute (for example) from red side to blue. While he hedged on the specifics, the answer was yes. -

The villain one is actually better from a story mechanics standpoint. It uses tricks that the hero one doesn't in telling its story.
The hero one is extremely straightforward, almost trivially easy and thus is better done purely for reward.
The stories of both have problems, IMO. The villain one is the better story, but it hamstrings your villain in the role of patsy yet again. -

RWZ challege was designed by scrappers for scrappers to show how tough they are. You have to fight a Rikti spawn at L54 with 3 bosses. You cannot use inspirations, temporary powers, and I believe that you cannot corner pull but that last one is debatable.

The generally accepted rule is that you must have the attention of the entire spawn while killing them. So it doesn't count unless you have aggro from at least 4 53-54 level Bosses +whatever else is in the spawn during the fight. You can pull the spawn and then duck around a corner to bunch them up, but you can't pick them off one by one while only some of the spawn has aggro.
Other rules;
No temps; No Inspirations
Tier 9s are OK.
