I haven't read past the first page, because it's the same old argument over and over again. But the way I see it, a villain would take one of the following options:
1: Go to Paragon City, and run around yelling "OMG guys, Darrin Wade is going to steal the power of Rularuu and he's gonna eat the universe and we're all gonna die!!!!" Wait for heroes to rush off, en masse, to stop him. While they're occupied, steal everything that isn't nailed down.
2: Start trying to find out how Wade did it, so we can do something similar ourselves.
3: Break into Portal Corp. Find a nice dimension that Nemesis doesn't rule. Go there. Make popcorn. -
With a rock.
A multiversal rock that erases all alternate versions of Statesman from existence. -

I...I think I take it back. That's actually not too bad. It kinda makes sense, it allows WAY more leg-room than the initial draft we got a brief glimpse at (in-game, etc) it...yeah. I can kinda deal with that. It allows it to be the 'potential' thing, rather than an actual power giving deity thinger. And allows for all the origins (i.e. science explosions give powers rather than melting faces)
It also amplifies the mess caused by the "one for each species" nonsense, since it becomes even more apparent that if the puddle doesn't cross species lines, it certainly shouldn't cross dimensional lines.
And oh yeah, another case of "if you do this I will kill you."
I think maybe they've read people's problems with the puddle, and are trying to "fix" it somehow. The thing is, you can't fix something that is broken at the core. -

Although I suspect that if Harper keeps going the way he's going, with his lips firmly planted to American backside, there will be no sacking and I will be joining you in Denmark. -

I like the legging aspect of them myself, why I always ask for the short shorts aspect of the piece to be made into a bikini bottom style, but doing that would also be good, as well as giving them the shorts 1-3 as additional bottoms would also be a good idea.

What side do you pick more than others?
Vigilante. I like villains conceptually but I really get tired of fighting Longbow and Arachnos all the time.
What play style do you prefer?
Trick myself out with IOs, set my difficulty as high as I can handle, and go kill massive swarms of stuff. I usually only team for TFs, my weekly static team, or with my husband and our RL friend.
What power set(s) do you favor?
Ooo, so many good ones, it's hard to choose. Fire Blast, very much Fire Blast. I also like Willpower and Storm Summoning, and there is that special place in my heart for Assault Rifle, the red-headed stepchild of powersets.
What zones do you like the most?
The Shadow Shard, although I rarely go there because there's nothing to do, and Striga.
Do you usually play as a male or female (word of hatred) ''toon''?
Usually female. I have a few males but I find it harder to make good-looking costumes for them, because so many of the pieces just don't look good to me when used on guys. I also hate most of the guy hairstyles.
Views on Role Playing?
I generally don't, but if everyone else is doing it I'll play along.

Null was added in response to people's concerns over Speed Boost becoming an AoE, so the option to disable the speed buff had to be added fast. The Mystic Fortune options were a nice bonus.

It's not about "fixing." Over and over, players have said not to take things away, so we won't. We'd only add things and simply leave the legacy stuff alone. In this case, maybe we'd add a highres version of the first example but not bother with the second since the texture's probably already as crisp as it gets.

As for seeing States in IP and Trident, I think that people need to take a valium. Continuity in MMOs is always sketchy at best, because everyone does the same mishs/quests, regardless if whether someone else has done it already, and COH is no exception. For example, if I already defeated Ubelmann and he's dying in prison, why do I hear other players talking about going after him? Every major NPC defeat during arcs has this problem, and there are some that die or are removed completely somehow. I don't see how the "States still in IP" situation is any different.

God, I hate Rularuu. I lost count of the number of hospital runs I had to make after tunnel after tunnel full of Rularuu. Which, frankly, is all this segment was: tunnels full of Rularuu punctuated by a couple of mass combat scenes with a bunch of named characters.

3) As others have pointed out, but I want to point out in more detail: almost all of the old-time villains, and probably more than a third of the newer generation ones, are walking around with the Thief of Midnight badge. That Darrin Wade is Rulu'shin is probably one of the worst-kept secrets in the game; he tells you as much, himself.

Early Missions: There were a lot of big names in this arc. Too many of them. I'd have loved the option for my team to go at Captain Mako and Crew with just BAB for support. As it was, I could just stand back, munch popcorn and move on. Same with the Three Stooges.
