    *poke*

Nah, I was bored, the boards were dead, and I felt "*poke*" was politer than "*stab*".
  2. Errant

    Thank you...

Civil ceremony in the town library.

  3. I'm in with something... and I swear I won't speed-run unless requested!
  4. Errant

    Thank you...

I meant to do this earlier, but got distracted... better late than never, right?

Anyhow, I'd like to say "Thank you," to dUmb (and any other SG's I've harassed) and all the dUmbies, to the Elite Council of the Darque Mafia, the rest of my Global Friend list over the last 5 years, Infinity, pUg's, Paragon Studios/NC^2, and hell... even Cryptic and Jack Emmert (mayHeneverreturntothisgame).

Thank you for the years of fun, and hours of gameplay. Thank you for the friendships, support, rivalry, hatred, drama, and everything else that City of X has offered. Thank you for the original ideas and the tribute characters (both good and bad). Thank you for the buffs (few and far between) and occasionally the nerfs (some deserved, others a "WTF?"). Thank you for the moderation when I'd gotten outta hand... I've deserved far more mod-smacks and generic's than I've gotten. Thank you for this game and this awesome online community.

Most of all, though, thank you for one other player. I teamed with her years ago, passing like ships in the night, on my Science Ill/Emp Controller "Jesus - Christ". Ran into her again when I was looking for a good red-side SG to team consistently with. Fun to annoy and tease, and an amazing player, especially given her penchant for forgetting to slot... ever. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to form a friendship with her that just continued to grow... despite my own self-destructive habits and attempts to keep things cool. Thank you for being the connection to help me find my better half, the support to my scrapper-lock'd self.

I married this wonderful girl in April, and the good times have just continued...

Thank you, City of Villains, for helping me find my wife. Tiny Bolt, I love you.
  5. Chris, WTF is that, and why is it trying to eat my face?

    3. Are there any good unofficial CoH boards?

    And then went to here?

****, ************, you have the patience, attention span, and intelligence of a mayfly.

Play the ******* game, *******. Ask people in-game. Socialize. Quit being a self-aggrandizing little **** who can't "beat" a game with out Prima holding your hand the entire way.

Seriously, if you are that discouraged with the immense array of independently derived and maintained sources of information on a 6-year old MMO, most (if not all) of which are 3rd party and user-supported/created, your expectations are a little high. It is possible to play (and enjoy) a game without a walkthrough/nanny/guide/cheat sheet leading you by the ring in your upturned nose.

TLDR - SITFUACO, or GTFO. We won't miss you.

Actually... that's Eran's default outfit. I made it for a Silver Age costume contest years ago, and like it the best out of the five I've made for him.
  11. DM/SR is tastyness, and very much the Assassin.
Claws/Will/Soul is a fury-less brute. Sooo much fun.
The rest of mine are too low to tell as of now.
  12. Well, lil' difficulties in sorting out the start, but went well for my team. Thanks for the event!

And apologies for the slightly quick run. I'm used to running Cap SF's rather quickly, and no one requested to slow down.
  13. ...but here's my application to the Ebil Club. Finally made it, crafting and selling EVERY non-common IO, and selling every bit of leftover common salvage. Taken a while, and many flashback arcs and TF's. (working on grabbing EVERY arc available)

  14. Soo... either this is uber and has rendered all speechless in it's beauty...

Or ya'll have been struck mute by me asking help on a PvE stalker build...

    Which is it? ^_^

For PvE, yes. It does wonders for me on my Claws/Will. For PvP, thinking you'll wanna go with Hibern00b.
  17. 3 Centrioles (Dam/Rng Hami) in the ST and AoE Nova Attacks, and then grab 5 7.5% rng buffs from ST and AoE PvP IO's (2 slot bonus) and the 5 Slot PvP Hold into Incandescent Strike.

Seems a lot of compromise for 40+ feet.
  18. So... here's a h4x PvE Nin/EA. Strong on single-target, and decent defense and recharge.

Or I might be building it horribly wrong. Thoughts? Reminder: PvE build.

A: It is something on the slate, but it will be a couple of Issues from now. Base Raids, Items of Power are also planned on being repurposed but fixed.

Also no market merger (confirmed yet again boo)
That was me. I later interrogated War Witch and Mod 8 about PvP during the Meet and Greet, bringing up a lot of the old wounds from I13, and learning a lot more about what happened on their side with it. Long and short, it's gonna get looked at again, but the PvP community needs to show that there's a need/desire for additional adjustments to PvP, as well as a viable player base that will be affected by positively by changes.

Server transfers helped, the leage (no U!) helps, but we do need to keep it moving and working. So, established PvP'ers, bring in the newbs. New players, try it, it's not ALWAYS as bad as ya fear/heard.

Also, lolz Dull Blade brutes in PvP.
