Unless they took it on Infinity, no one stole anything. Names were not reserved on Exalted.
You are not a unique and special snowflake where you "own" a specific combination of 26 letters, 10 numbers, and 3-4 special characters. There were several names I wanted, but didn't get. I didn't cry they were "stolen" from me, I just grabbed a straw, sucked it up, and tried a different one. And as a result, I have ~24 lvl 1 Science Arch/Dev Blasters in black leotards sitting on Exalted, squatting on names I think are cool/interesting/neat/preparation from future powersets, because I'd "like" to have a character with that name. I've done the same thing on other servers with sweet names I just don't have time/appropriate character idea for yet.
Frankly, whoever grabbed it, I applaud you. You played the game according to the game's rules.
And while I realize I'm fueling it, by posting in the thread, especially at this late date... Get over yourself, Belle. You ain't special. -
Yeah, that and the "power normalization" ********.
You don't want to... Some memories should fade. PvP is a ghost of what it was. -

I'm all for making it the Drama Server, since it seems that Infinity has been lacking lately in that regard. ^_^

http://www.cohplanner.com/ One is PC only, the other is online, but only updated to I16 (missing a few Enhancements and Powersets). I prefer Mid's, as does most everyone else on the boards.
Rough rules for basic play:
1 Accuracy SO in anything that has to hit to work.
3 Damage SO's in any power that hurts mobs.
3 Recharge SO's in any long recharging clicks.
3 Heal SO's in any healing power.
1 Endurance Reduction in any power that costs Endurance.
3 Defense/Resistance SO's in any Defense/Resistance power.
When using IO's (especially sets), go for slotting that gives you roughly the same or better percentage of enhancement as that. -
I generally ascribe to that as well, but with the amount of recharge I've shoved into that build, adding 2 more slots of lvl 50 Recharge IO's only drops Placate 2.63 seconds on recharging. I can gladly use the slots elsewhere, so didn't see the need to go from 18.4 to 15.67 on it's timer.

Quote:http://planner.cohtitan.com/plannerUnfortunately mids wont work on my computer so I have no real "road map", gotta go off the top of my head. Any particular guides to follow for a Kin/Nin set?

Quote:Not implicitly no... but here:Quote:
Psst, afore you go mentioning superfluous things and ******** about irrelevance, remember, the devs DO NOT balance around IO's... so your DR firing for 16 End and your KB Protection is irrelevant. ^_^
Quote:DR costs 16.3 endurance in my build excluding the Cardiac alpha slot (15.25 with it). The endurance cost issue is a thing of the past for Dark Regeneration.
Quote:Quote:Great. DR is a good heal because that is what it is for. But it is not and never will be 100% reliable and infallible. You *can* miss with it, you can be debuffed so that's more likely to miss. Hell, you can be *KNOCKED AWAY* while trying to use it since the set doesn't have KB protection. These are *ALL* taken into account when balancing the power.
DR will heal for 669.04 HP with 2 white Heal SO's, 49.97% of a Scrapper's Base HP (782.81/58.46% with 3 white Heal SO's, or 718.55/53.66% with 3 -2 Heal SO's). So, here, you're probably using IO's, either commons or frankenslotted sets, both of which the Dev's have stated are not used for balancing powersets and powers.
So... um... yeah, you're wrong. *pat pats* It's okay, your comment wasn't an accurate comparison of the powersets/powers. Better luck next time. And remember, facts are your friends! -
Quote:Damn... another example of how it is wiser to be thought a fool while remaining silent, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt. You want to as usual make sure you get the placate and assassin strike as fast as you can.....
but also for ninja blade you want to have the attack that increases your defense when it hits. I forgot the name....but you want to get it and use it alot...it will help out plenty.
You also might remember willpower effects only kick in when you are not hidden on some of the powers that require enemies around you...in addition you should also recall willpower has powers that give you defense and such based on enemies around you.
So you want to most likely think about taking other defenses to help you a bit on and beyond what you slot or get from set enehancements. There is nothing wrong with taking alot of little powers either...like combat jump, stealth, hover....nor is there anything wrong with taking the fighting pool powers.
I recommend the fighting pool powers to help with willpower....that will provide you with the needed hole filling when you need it in my opinion.
This response is entirely my opinion...so dont take it as gospel....you should only play the way you want to play -

Quote:...thx for the build,it looks great, im not lazy guys i just suck majorly at creating builds, again thx alot
The Spacebar isn't evil, nor is the Shift button, nor is spelling out "thanks."
Also, for your sig, it's spelled "Shield".
Your lack of lazyness is cast in doubt.
Good luck with the build, lemme know how it works out for ya. '^_^'
