Not yet there's not -- but I wouldn't be surprised if that's on the horizon.

    power seller

I think the most common method of achieving that many sales is to get a buddy (or 2nd account) and sell stacks of 10 salvage back and forth -- at least that's the way I and a few friends did it back when the badge was new.

Used salvage because it's easier to manage 'stacks' of 10 at a time and get that much credit. It still takes some work, but it's doable.

As far as 7,000 sales in a normal play setting? I can't see it for most people. Strange that the devs didn't revisit the selling badge totals in the recent badge reevaluations.

Same exact thing happened to me just now. But I kept restarting the patcher (didn't bother to reboot), and eventually it repaired the files and was able to log in fine.

To anyone experiencing this, I'd say just keep trying the updater, verify the files, and eventually it appears that you'll be able to get in.

We all make it back in and see that we are in Ouroborus, the contact says we won, no merits, NO BADGES, and all 8 of us sent out petitions. No word yet on them but the day is young.
This is EXACTLY what happened to us last night on Victory. We'd eliminated all 4 AVs and had Reichsman down to almost zero HP, and BAM! Entire team mapservered. When we all reconnected (about a minute later), we were in Ouroboros and had completed the TF (and all the "Master of" indicators were intact), but had received no rewards whatsoever. Upon calling Dr. Kahn, the TF ended normally, but (of course) still no rewards were given.

You'd better believe a whole batch of petitions went out within minutes.

We'll see what comes of all that. Best of luck to everyone who's successfully completed this Master of TF but hasn't received the rewards.

While Pol's response may have missed your funny bone, he DID include the time zone if you'd read a tiny bit earlier in the thread: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showp...8&postcount=16.

It should also be noted that none of these enemies count for badge credit -- in other words, "Rogue Toxic Tarantulas" do NOT give credit toward the Toxic Tarantula badge (Venomous).

I point this out because it's a common misconception, particularly among novice badge collectors, and it's an awful shame to see someone spend a significant amount of time defeating these enemies for the sole purpose of gaining badge credit, only to find out later that their time would have been better spent elsewhere.

    It's here!!!

Thanks for the confirmation, Des, I appreciate it. I'll be popping home at lunch in a bit to check out the new shinies. See you all online soon hopefully!
  11. It's $9.99 (+ tax) per toon.

But I wouldn't give up on Victory just yet -- it's about the 5-6th most populated server, which puts us right about in the middle of the pack. I love Victory, and have met a TON of great people here.

Check out my signature, KIDCHAOS, or go to the Victory server forum here and check out any of the other SGs that have posted in the stickied thread. If you get with a good, active SG your chances of seeing people and teaming go WAY up.

Good luck whatever way you decide to go!

I think you're thinking about damage RECEIVED counting for credit on the damage badges, not heal badge credit. As far as I recall, you get full credit for ALL damage healed -- but only for actual damage healed. So to the original question, no, just hitting a 'heal' doesn't net you any credit unless you actually heal 1 HP (credit is equal to the exact heal benefit you delivered).
  14. Posi comes down with H1N1 and I16 goes live, within hours of each other?

Coincidence? Or does I16 cause H1N1?!? BELIEVE IT OR DON'T!!!

Hope Mr. Miller gets well soon, that's a yucky thing to have happen.
  15. I can hook you guys up with some prize swag (Hami-Os, etc.), too -- should it go to MP or to Masque?
  16. Wow, that's really cool M! Great idea!

Also: first post after a Masque!!!
  17. I'm in, although it might actually take funds AWAY since I'd have to pay someone to bid on me.

And all proceeds will be donated to the cause of buying a puppy for Masque (probably to eat).

  19. I suggest putting your question to the folks in the Technical Issues and Bugs forum (here). There's bound to be someone there that can help you get sorted.

    Best of luck!

    Oops

Don't forget, it's not WHERE you take the Safeguard mission -- it's based solely on your toon's level. So regardless of the zone you took the mission in, you will get the particular Safeguard based only on your level.

  23. I suggest putting your question in the Technical forum (here). Lots of knowledgeable folks there that can help you out.

From a technical standpoint, I also suggest you at least post the exact error your getting -- it's kind of hard for someone to help you when you are overly vague.

    Best of luck!
