Quote:I dunno, ZM, but I can say with complete certainty that in this exact scenario (the most common 'mission shuffling' activity) I've had zero problems allowing a toon into a mission owned by another toon on that account, whether in years past, or even just last week.Ummm... I have a contrary anecdote:
A wants the exploration badge of a low level Safeguard mission. B, a lowbie on that same account can open that mission. So, B opens the mission and invites C to hold it open (a toon on my other account). B logs off so that A can jump on. When B logs off, C gets kicked out of the mission and it's gone.
This was just two weeks ago.
Have you had that issue more than once, or just the one time you're citing? -
I suggest placing your question in the "Technical Issues & Bugs" forum located here. They have a lot of big brains over there that can probably help out.
Best of luck! -
Hunh...and here I thought I'd be presented with a thread on a newb's question about PB/WS forms. Shows you how old and out-of-touch I am...

First off, welcome to the game and to the forums, Hube02!
There's some very good advice so far, and likely much more to come. All I'll say is to echo what a few have said about CoX not really needing to go too far into tactical stuff, but that doesn't mean that some teams (usually more experienced players) can take a somewhat tactical approach to their combat situations.
I think it really depends on many factors (the mission environment and objectives, the team makeup, etc.) -- just don't think that there's NO call for a tactical approach in CoX. Like others have said, it's just not as important as it may be in some other MMORPGs. -

Quote:Yup -- which is exactly the reason they can't reasonably count as a toon's personal badges. Not only that, but once you leave your SG, you wont have them anymore because they are the property of the SG, not your character.
Something that hasn't been mentioned yet, for anyone not aware, is that you can view your SG badges (assuming your SG has any) by clicking the appropriate link at the bottom of the "Badge" dropdown list. -
Yeah, after the one I'm currently working on (only a few hours left there), I'm down to only 2 more and their related Accolade -- so I'm thinking sometime in just a few weeks or so I should be done with all the DJ badges. Hooray!
And for the record, even though it frustrates the crap out of the "MUST HAVE NAO!" part of me, I think 3 weeks per badge is a reasonable timeframe to earn. -
On the subject of shirts, here is an image of mine -- my two best friends and I had these made up for Hero Con this year and all three of us wore them on Saturday (with each person's main toon on the front, the backs being identical). We got some very nice compliments on them.
(Sorry for the poor image quality, I just took a quick couple of snaps with my iPhone in the hotel room at Hero Con.)

Huge congrats, Angryellow! Now get to work on 501-600!

The Valkyrie chestpiece is sorta bra-like. I'm trying to recall what drop-down(s) that piece is under...

Nope, PA and Phantasm both follow across zones (I just tested it on my Ill 'Troller). Strangely, though, both types of pet disappeared from my pet window upon zoning (but they were still there, and followed me as normal).

And it's been up on the official site for quite some time, too...

Rats, see what happens when I'm away from the boards for a couple of days?
Happy (belated) birthday, Viv!!!! -
I think the aforementioned animal-parts (heads, more tails, etc.) sound great, and very much in keeping with a mutation-themed booster.
And MOAR COSTUME-CHANGE EMOTES, PLZ!!! -
Actually I find this to be unnecessary -- if you simply run the arc all the way through (either direct, or via Ouroboros where you also get merits for everyone on the team instead of just the arc owner!) you will get your chance at each Praetorian (more than one chance in many cases).

Neither I nor the poster I was quoting said anything about war walls specifically -- he referred to "zone walls" (which may or may not have meant "war walls"), which I took to mean moving to a "zoneless" environment (a rumor I've heard a few times over the years, and one that seems to have been resurrected with the announcement of GR), and that philosophy was what my comment was directed toward.

Great post, but I wanted to comment on this claim about future content (GR, I17, etc.). I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm mistaken (
), but I don't believe there are plans to do this. In fact, I think this was asked in one of the sessions I attended at Hero Con, and the answer was that "zones" are something that will continue and that there are no plans to alter this approach.
