Quitting before the match even starts seems to cause the sync issues and the seemingly wrong people advancing to the next rounds.
Still, all it does is lengthen the time it takes to get all people the badge -- you just keep at it until everyone who wants it has it. -

Remember, the mechanic used here is similar to an enhancement, in that you build the Boost and then "slot" it into the appropriate, well, slot. So in my mind, the execution ends up being very similar to enhancement slots that allow you to detach and swap enhancements at will (except for the above restrictions). -

Yep this happened to one of mine as well: the moment you switch alignments in a morality mission the Halloween Tip is deleted.
So now that we know Halloween Tips survived after the end of the event but they are deleted upon alignment changes one has to wonder if people are going to try to hang on to them into the coming months. Maybe some people will even try to offer them up to the highest bidders for badges until next Halloween comes around... -

Okay, I've been on the fence about joining up and burning off my (not-so-)hard-earned inf (because I'm just greedy like that), but reading that other thread just did it for me. If you guys'll have me, I'll create a Virtue toon (or transfer one there from my home server) and funnel as much inf as I can over for destruction.
Like Dumple, I simply cannot wait to see the inevitable march to the top and (much more entertainingly) the accompanying cries of "Dirty rotten exploiters!" from some quarters.
