  1. Yes, great fun, and a wonderful server event. Thanks to all the PERC folks, and to all the teams who participated! Congrats to all!

They way I do it is left-click on the name of the channel within your chat window (it appears in brackets like this: [SampleChannel]) and choose the "Set Color" command.
  3. Also, just wanted to mention that there is a base construction forum in this section too, where it might be good to post questions for the people really into base-building.

But other than that, yeah, easier to get. Not hard to find a trial to join right now.
I think it's also important to keep in mind that only a certain subset of level 50 characters are eligible for these Merits, whereas nearly ANYONE has the ability to generate AMs. Just one more factor to weigh when determining relative value.

On the forums, yes -- but not where they're SUPPOSED to be (i.e., the part of the public website specifically set aside for them).

Yes they were. Patch notes aren't up yet (but you can always look at the Test patch notes if you're curious).

Same here. I play both sides -- I put up crafted IOs I generate and let them sit as long as need be, but when I want to put a build together, I want to get it set up and going so I can go try it out ASAP.

Yes, and I mentioned in my original response that there were inconsistencies in the "standard" cooldown.

Did you bother reading what I directed you to (i.e., the individual powers' description pages, that expressly cites the cooldown timers being 5 minutes on each one)?

View the detail page for each ability for details.
  11. All cooldowns are 5 minutes, and that is per slot I believe.

Sometimes zoning "resets" the timer, but I have found this to be inconsistent.

If I recall correctly, it comes from one of the web chats with the dev team recently.

For what it's worth, this is what many groups on Victory have been doing all along, and it seems to work out well.

The badge is account-wide, so you will only have to log one character in on the server in order to qualify.

You don't receive Bug Hunter VIA a bug, you get it for IDENTIFYING a bug. That's a pretty significant difference.

It'll be a shame for you to miss the event, but I'm not gonna let one of my buddies go badgeless! Hopefully we'll both be available for the Victory server raid, yeah?
That's a great idea, Chad -- I'll also be happy to log in anyone's account if they won't be able to make the event. I was planning on logging in to the 3 accounts I own, and probably 2 others belonging to friends who can't make it, to help add to the "stress test" for the server, but I'd be happier replacing 1 or 2 of my accounts with others belonging to anyone who can't make it.
  19. I didn't see your server anywhere in your post, sig or avatar info -- you might want to include that.

    Good luck.

It's too late now, but FYI, unsubbing and resubbing within the same day did not lose access to the Loyalty Rewards. Black Pebble stated as much several times in answer to questions about that, and since my subscription decided to come up during the period in question and didn't auto-renew for some reason, I had occasion to (nervously) test that, and found that it was the case.

YMMV, but I've not seen one single run in RWZ since the first week or so of I20. Seems to be PD pretty consistently (some of us have used the Midnighter Club on occasion, but that's pretty much just one channel of people doing it to take advantage of the store contact and the relative privacy).
  22. One of the main developers of HS is in my SG -- I'll draw his attention to this thread.

Figured as much -- just wanted to be clear, which is why I added that at the end. No worries whatsoever.

For the record, I'm simply giving my own opinion on the subject -- at no time did I say that *I* have any intention of doing so, nor do I even necessarily encourage it.

In fact, I've taken time off to be online and "follow the rules" to earn the badge.

    Just to clarify my position.
