  1. Just got the full set, and spent less cash than I would have on a normal bundle to get them. I fully support these packs!
  2. Jay may have been sexy.

C, to me FEELS more of a retro sci-fi vibe. The rings on the boots and gloves are astounding and something we've needed. But I feel, in order for this to be a complete set, some options from A and B need to be included.

From A, that chest detail, it could be used across the board with a myriad of other parts currently in game, not to mention for a mere bare chest model. The simplistic pattern I like as well, and hope that if it has been conceptualized by the character modelling crew that it be utilized for something else. I like it, it needs to be in game, just not here.

From B, having the shoulder options and the glow as an optional detail are paramount. I think it lends towards a more modern sci-fi with that glow. Also, not everyone will like the tapered shoulders, and the accordion pieces do fir that better.

C I found no faults in and I feel best accomplishes what this pack is supposed to be, so it won my vote. But know that one costume alone does not a set make, it's all about the options.
  6. I don't get these emails... what gives?! I should be signed up for them.
  7. I've had my own dealings with this in the past, whilst on Arbiter Fabulous, which allows me an interesting way to troll a bit.

Note: I don;t always do this, I pride myself on being a very helpful, receptive player willing to guide new players and veterans alike, to those who've met me or played with me know this, at least I hope.

    AF: *doing random thing*
Other guy ((OG)): HI, u want 2 join teem?
AF: Oh! Hello darling, sorry a bit busy at the moment, fashion week coming up!
OG: Whut? Join Team, good XP! We need a Widow.
AF: No thank you, but I appreciate the offer, I see on the team finder there are many Widows online, a few in the high 40's. As a 50 I don;t need the XP, it should benefit them.
OG: We want a 50, you shuld join us, y can't you just help us?
AF: Well, I'm a bit busy at the moment, prepping my auction house for funds to make a few new costumes.
OG: Whut? Well join team, we need a 50 Widow. You'll get XP. *invite sent*

It is at this point I get a bit miffed. However those who know me know I have a tendency to... sidetrack bad situations in a unique fashion, emphasis on that last word.

I join the team, to which two members sent me a tell to run for the hills, and that they've seen me in the D. I send them a tell back to enjoy the show and play along.

AF:Oh, saving people in the Television! We're going to be on TV?
    OG: Huh, yeah LOL.
AF: *enters mission* GASP! WAIT A MOMENT! We are on TELEVISION, look at what you are WEARING!
    OG: Whut?
AF: Oh no no no! You come here, we need to put some clothes on you, that outfit will not do. ((Player realizes some people actually DO use the Random button))
OG: What? We have DE here, kill them.
AF: I couldn;t be seen on television with someone so grubby.. and look at the rest of you, a few of you can be salvaged but let's be honest here... Iwas sent here for a reason.. whoever wants free makeover and fashion advice, meet me at the mission start. *All but the leader zip over*
OG: *gets killed promptly* WTF?! Help me!
AF: I am darling, but you need to help yourself, I knew you needed MY help, but I thought it was going to be a silly battle.. now who all here has the Valkyrie Pack? I'm thinking BIG SHINY BOOTS...
OG: Come help or I'll kick you from the team.
AF: Actually pass star I have a friend who can help. *we are an 8 man team*
OG: ok. *passes star* Who's your friend?
AF: Tim Gunn, I'm watching Project Runway, and I'm INSPIRED!

*mission turns into an hour discussion of costume options and how best to tweak the various looks, OG ragequits after team agrees he looks like Corn Chex soaked in bacon grease, we beat the mission eventually as a side not, then hit the ICON in RWZ*

Lesson to learn: Don't mess with an Arbiter, and if you must, at least do so in your best costume...
  8. Ok, So I amdown to a handful of badges, two arena ones currently elude me, pentad and more importantly, Swiss Draw.

How exactly does this thing work? I had a team of 8, all willing to help me, I won my first round and then I wasn't invited into the second.

Is this badge currently bugged, or is there something about it I'm missing, is there a trick to it that can be shared?
  9. Wait, you fixed the Character Copy Tool?!

*clings* You can't leave us NOW, yer on a roll!

    Flying East!

You will be forever missed, Avatea.

You were one of the first people I had the pleasure of meeting in this community, and your loss will be felt for time to come.

The person, whoever it is, who follows after you, has the daunting task of trying their best to be half the amazing, kind, generous person you are.

I am proud to call you friend, after our many meetings at conventions, and hope that all goes well.

    With Sincere Gratitude,

    AJ aka Arbiter Fabulous

PS: While you are over there, mind beating up the gold farmers?

    Link.
Thank you for linking to it.

With a secondary thread for them to see reactions to, and compiling all the responses on what people want, I think we will have a much better chance of getting this seen.

Well I was speaking of a full set, perhaps with the weapon unlocks being included with them. Not just the three of four pieces made for the Rulu-Shin.

Also, what about if this was on the market, like the Vanguard pack, where you could have the costumes and weapons globally without needing the badge(s),

Also, we should also include weapon models for staffs, titan weapon, beam rifle, pistols (unless those are in there already)

Keep the ideas flowing, what do you want to see / not see in such a pack?
  13. Hyperstrike,

I know that the majority of the options used for the Rulu-Shin are from existing packs, myself an a few others assumed this was just a work in progress of a new pack, what would replace those parts with that would fit a Rularuu costume set thematically?

Personally I would like to see

Rularuu Boots with / without eyes

Rularuu skirt / kilt option, based off those of the Aspects

    Observer head

Rularuu skin based off Burtes / Natterlings

    Natterling wings

Observer detail 1 for head ((if not a full head, just a giant eye that covers a majority of the face. Good for cyclops characters))

Rualruu based auras and path auras

Rularuu Gem options for those who do not like the observer eyes for chest detail

    Rularuu Gem armor

Rularuu Mystical backpacks similar to the Celestial.

A team based random buff, similar to mystic fortune or secondary mutation with 7 options, each pertaining to the seven aspects.

    Other opinions?
  14. Hello everyone @Equation / Arbiter Fab here,

When I was at the pummit, I had an opportunity after the festivities to sit down with Noble Savage and ask him about Rularuu Costume options. Having seen the Rulu-shin, I , and I know many others, assumed that this was a work in progress for a full on Rularuu costume set.

He informed me that this was not the case, that those amazing costume options were merely for that villain group in the SSA. He also seemed a bit surprised that people would be interested in them, or had assumed that they would be coming for players.

We discussed various options for the set, but he said in order for this set to actually come to fruition, it would need the support and attention of the players.

He suggested making a thread about it in the forums, which I am doing now, a week later, wanting to let all of the other Pummit threads simmer a bit.

What would you like to see in a Rularuu costume pack? What would you not like to see, what emotes, auras, powers?

Should this be on the market and if so, what price, a Tier 9 VIP set ((this option would allow far more available options)), free to players, or unlocks for completing Shadow Shard TFs?

If you would NOT like to see this set, please respond as well.

Let's keep it concise, on topic, and constructive.

Noble Savage, if you see this, would you mind responding? Confirming things you would like to see as constructive feedback?

For those who are unfamiliar with the Rulu-Shin, I will link a picture below.

Thank you all for taking the time to read this and for any feedback left.

  17. ERA of Challenge #Δ: Quiz Master

    Prologue

It was in the abandoned factories that they found the kidnapped citizens. The death traps had long since deactivated allowing the police to investigate. As usual, there was no evidence of the culprit, but they knew from the Modus Operandi who was responsible for the bloodbath before them.

The Quiz Master had come from seemingly no where and burst onto the scene in recent days, finding people and putting them through his intelligence tests. The ones intelligent enough to pass were free to leave, those who fail were butchered by the traps.

One of the officers stepped into the room and looked at the grisly carnage that dripped from the ceilings. the largest chunk was a hand that was nailed to a button that read "c", on a nearby screen were the letters "VAC" with an additional C in red after. A rookie walked in and nearly lost his lunch, trying his best to not step in the remains of the exploded man.

"He misspelled 'Vacuum". Quiz Master sucked all the air from this chamber until his body ruptured..."

    Elsewhere....

Quiz Master sat in his study, a recent addition, and rising star of ERA the skull masked man held five book in from of him, staring at them and gradually turning pages from them as he took them in at once. Principles of Electrical Engineering, Advanced Physics and Practical Applications, Theoretical Nuclear Theory, Torture Devices of the Inquisition, and Philosophies of Eugenics.. every word he devoured in silence.

His mission was simple, the world had too many people, far too many inferior minds breeding. In order to raise the standard, mankind must be tested, and those unfit to breed should be removed for the benefit of all.

He sat in thought, applying the lessons from each book to each other, crafting new and more interesting devices as he read...
  18. Woohoo!!! *does a little dance!*

So.. about that picture now... *grins*
  19. In Serge you trust? Oh poodle poodle.. Don't you know why I stole his kheldian sashes? He was going to make legwarmers for heads with them!

As for the cranially challenged, I find it's a fascinating way to see the beauty within! The fact that so many have found inventive way to remove the jar still gives me a happy squeeful jump of joy.

I find that the retro Victoriana attire is very amazing at being an assessorizing tool, kudos to those who are inspired by it, although that clock belt I would love for myself.

I feel our new gothic attire as well as our recently acquired fish friends will be welcome to those of us with distinguished tastes.

As for what to do with some of them, I have honestly had SO little time to explore these options, but I have caught wind of many would be Clockwork Kings running amok...

    Show me what you've done!

    I just want to say..

I WORE IT FIRST, and I WEAR IT BETTER!

    *fashionistagrumbles*

So, let's talk in-game fashion, it's been a while, and we have new options.

    *sips espresso*
  21. Do we have the tallies? *grins*
  22. What time was that calculated at?
