On my Night Widow I'm going:
Alpha - Musculature Radial Paragon for the +Dmg +End Mod +Run Speed (I use Ninja Run - Prestige Run - Mental Training for Travel) and +To Hit Debuff (I have Darkest Night for the -Damage and -To hit)
Judgement - I went with Void Core Final (extra damage since I can Debuff damage with Darkest Night already) since this is a Melee toon and the Negative Energy Damage Fits with the Negative Energy Damage of Gloom and my Patron Pick.
Interface - Reactive Radial Flawless for the 75% Dot 25% Res Debuff. More Damage
Destiny - I think I'm going Rebirth Core for the +HP. I already have +59% defense to Melee and Ranged plus 51% to AoE. I also Have Elude for more Defence and Recovery when needed.
Lore - I'm waiting on Arachnos Pets for theme and from what I read there damage is on par with Warworks. I will go the damage route as well.

After installing the new Launcher I no longer have a cursor in the game. I can still highlight things like the password section of the log in screen, servers, etc but I don't have an actual cursor anymore. It's a complete guessing game as to where I am in game so I must move my mouse around slowly until it highlights an area of the screen. I do have the latest driver for my video card as well as all updates from microsoft for my operating system. I'm running Vista 64 bit Home Premium.
I had to uninstall the NCsoft launcher and game then reinstall the game and let it patch through the Coh updater before I could play again and have a cursor. I'm a little worried since the Coh updater says the game will only be available through the NCsoft launcher soon. I've been playing for almost six years now and would hate to have to go to another game for my leisure time.
Please help. -

A couple of your arcs will likely have to be completed first. As for which ones...? You're going to have to guess.
I had to do that with mine, I finished the two closest to completion and then went back and tried to speak to him again, and this time it worked.
You're going to have to complete the arcs one at a time and go back to the mender each time to see if that's the arc you needed to complete.

I apologize if you already knew this it's just your comment about abandoning an arc confused me. You can abandon missions but not arcs, once you accept an arc mission (and sometimes even if you are just offered an arc mission) the arc is open until you complete it even if you abandon the mission.
I have an Ill/kin that has five open arcs and Mender Ramiel will give him the mission so that doesn't make any sense. Why can one toon with five ope arcs get the missions but another with seven not get them? -
I don't have any open story arcs and I used the the Abandon button for the only one I did have when I tried to do his missions In the beginning. I'm not on a SF/TF either. He is listed as an inactive contact.
I haven't switched sides so I can't figure out what the heck is going on.
Looks as if I will need to do the new TF's in issue 20 to get it unlocked. This really has me confused. -
I'm having a problem with one of my 50's. When I try to do the missions from Mender Ramiel I get a message that says "Settle anything that needs finished then speak with me". I have no missions in my list and he is listed as an inactive contact. I have never completed any missions from him and the mission progress bar show nothing completed.
I have read that there will be another way to unlock the Alpha in issue 20 but I don't no what that is. Can someone tell how I can do this or if anyone else has had the same problem. I did send in a bug report but nothing has changed and I can't still do the missions. -

I don't want to see any AT get a nerf but your statement about ice/dark...."Ice/dark corruptors will have 4 holds, compared to 2 for doms." Is definitely a major problem/issue with the Dom AT. We honestly don't bring anything to a team that any other villian AT can and will do better/more consistantly than us. I love my Dom, I really do but unless there is a significant change to the AT, she will set at lvl 40. I tried out several different builds/AT's during the RV event and my Dominator was hands down the weakest of all of them on both sides. The domination change did help but it was nowhere near what the AT needs to compete and actually make a contribution to their team.
The dev's should change the "domination" graphic so that it put's a big bullseye above our heads... wait, it already does. It's like..kill the crazy squishy with the glowing aura, that's an easy win

etc. Nobody is saying the PPPs are as good as the hero APPs. We are simply stating that dominators are now strong enough to be utilized on good PvP teams, where before they were a handicap.
I don't recall any AT yet that I wasn't able to hold eventually in RV when domination was up. And with speed boosts, that is a good percentage of the time.
As far as two doms being better than one, well damn you should be happy. Before I7 they would have been considered 2 gimpy handicaps for the team, now they are an asset.

Well, I don't think controllers would go for that since most still think containment was a trade off for the GLOBAL hold reductions. I think it could make dominators more survivable than they are now. What do we do in Sirens/Bloody with our toggle dropping power that only has a 5% chance to drop a toggle? If they moved Dominator pets up so they are available @ 24 and left controllers as is I would be happier than I am now. -

Wouldn't it just mean they became "chibi masterminds" at level 12 (or whatever) instead of 32? I don't see the difference in the end result, only in the ability to solo your way up there at a reasonable rate.

Couldn't it just be that Dominators get the pets earlier and not controllers? After all, they do have containment (3x in PvP), critical holds and buff . I think it would make sense since Villains supposedly are the High Damage AT's while heroes are the High Defense AT's.
Why would controllers need them earlier with everything they already have? -

Wow. The more I hear about the patron pets, the more I lose my enthusiasm. If they won't let us slot recharge duration then these need to be some UBER pets. If I bring one into PvP it better 3-4 shot any hero. Seriously there just seem to be too many restrcitions on these things: 15 minute recharge, 4 minute duration only and unable to slot recharge enhancements. I'm assuming we won't be getting the advanced pet controls like MMs, so that just makes these pets sound even worse. Fortunately my Dom will be getting a boss-level Mu Guardian, but it absolutely sux that people will be getting minion-level pets with thse same restrictions. Please devs think this over.

It also looks like the Mu Guardian won't heal ...it doesn't accept heal enhancements. That was really the only reason I was thinking about taking it. -

It's simple, you already have the keys for "Attack my Target", "Follow", and "Heal" that were programmed for CoV launch (I drag these into my tray). Right click the "Follow" key/command...the one with the arrow, click edit, then change the text from aggressive to defensive and volia....you now have a bodyguard key.

Yes, but that happens to everybody. A BRUTE teleported away from his team stands a good chance of getting slaughtered by the teleporter's team if caught by surprise. Better to say that Bodyguard doesn't insulate a Mastermind any better than everyone else.
Echoing what everyone else is saying here: pet AI needs to be adjusted so that they attack when the MM is attacked, hit or miss, not just when the MM takes damage.
Additionally, the default 'Follow' macro needs to be switched to Follow + Defensive. The Follow + Aggressive was a stupid macro to begin with, and newbies who don't want to fumble with building new macros should have a one-touch Bodyguard button at their disposal.

My reply is to your last comment Monkey_King. You can easily "edit" that key in game from Follow + Aggressive to Follow + Defensive via the "edit" key when you right click the macro.
I haven't had a chance to test this change in PvP so I won't comment on it yet. I'm off to test.

Understood, but the reward for going into melee was toggle dropping (at least for PvP...IMO) and as tested:
" Toggle Dropping - I only have Ice Sword in my build, my tier 2 toggle drop power. A controller running 3 toggles allowed me to test it out on him, thank you Balshor. End result, Ice Sword did not drop a single toggle on him after thwacking away at him for about 2 minutes or so. Another Dom, Nouveau Paris, went at him with Mind Probe and Psychic Shockwave. Mind Probe also did not drop any of his toggles. Psychic Shockwave dropped one toggles every three or four hits. Check with Nouveau for a more precise count if he has one
7.7% isn't crap if your dead! I understand active defense (before anyone goes there) but we need to be able to drop defense/resistance if our active defense is going to make a difference especially in the PvP enviroment where everyone and there mother has BF's available to them. Not one toggle drop in two minutes is INSANE!
Have you looked at the end cost for our shield... 1 end per second, OMG! -

Just to put the aoe acc penalty debate to rest.
I did check on CoH/CoV Character Builder and could find only 1 aoe in both the primary and secondary Corruptor set's that does have an acc penalty.
Fulcrum Shift has a -10% acc penalty -
Here is the 411 on Fireball. Hope this help's.
No acc penaltyRemember it's an aoe, there is a max hit number for aoe's of (I believe) 10. From my knowledge with energy, when I had Nova even if there were less than 10 in the aoe it would still miss some of them some of the time.
