I should have too, but I like to see the train wrecks happen.

Since MA's introduction I have witnessed to some outlandish n00berie... -

Maybe I should PM a dev finally.
[/ QUOTE ]
By all means. Though the LGTF is now just 45+, so not sure if having these available at 40 makes sense
Also, toss in why we STILL can't have offline invites/promotion/demotion for SGs.
[/ QUOTE ]
Promotion/demotion I can agree with, but offline invites... I can imagine all the spam invites players will get. -
I've always found Dark Aura to be a bit squishy, maybe because I tend to be slow on the trigger so my opinion is biased. Making it even more biased is the fact that I have a lvl 40 DM/SR. The one caveat that leaned me towards those sets was Siphon Life. I usually pick up Aid Self on my SRs and SL allowed me to have 2 extra power choices. I really can't think of anything negative to say about DM, sometimes lining up badguys for Shadow Maul can be annoying but that's about it.

Recipe information not popping up on 'mouseover.'
1. Open Wentworth's/Black Market screen.
2. Place multiple recipes in your auction house slots.
3. Mouse over 'stored' recipes.
Results: Only the last recipe placed in the auction house will show 'mouseover' text. It does not matter if any other items are currently stored in the auction house, or their order.
[/ QUOTE ]
This is such an amazingly annoying bug. I never really appreciated how important that feature is, until now that it is not working.
[/ QUOTE ]
Annoying yes, but you can still right-click 'Info' to get the salvage recipe information.
[/ QUOTE ]
Which can mistakenly cause someone to delete a recipe, like I almost did last night... -

Happy Canada Day!
If you're on Pinnacle (and even if you're not), check out this Canada/CoH related event!

Will Terrence and Phillip be there? -
Yes you should be fine, except for that rare occasion when you get hit.

Now I remember something else about the fight - not everyone was softcapped by themselves (I think we had 2 Invulns, 3 SR and 3 DAs), so we had everyone who wasn't bring a tray full of purples. We ran out of purples before she went down, which doomed that attempt. (She wasn't even close, so retrying it would have been pointless.)
[/ QUOTE ]
I was one of the SRs, I was beyond the softcap (Thanks to MPs last minute enhancement shopping on my behalf). I was at 46/47/47 for M/R/AoE, which didn't seem to matter much. -
lol Thanks all, I already forgot my bday passed. 33 feels like the new 43...

[edit: Wait, are we (EB / Des) talking about the same STF? *raises an eyebrow* We certainly didn't herd the AVs, I've got demos of those fights. :P Actually, I think I took demos of all the AV fights.]
[/ QUOTE ]
My memory of events must be off. I thought it was Baracuda we struggled on. I'm pretty sure we're speaking of the same STF though.
[/ QUOTE ]
I think we only did one all scrapper STF (according to the IW calendar), we tried dealing with the patrons on the upper right ledge but had some difficulty. Then we did the all scrapper ITF a few weeks later. -
I've been on an all scrapper STF, it was a long time ago but I think we did it in under 1.5 hours. Of course we used temp powers such as Katies, nukes, and Shivs to buff/debuff. I was on my Claws/SR scrapper aka the only "healer".
This was on Victory btw -
I had a few damage procs slotted in auras before, all that fancy math aside, it was pretty much useless. The damage is low and most important of all, 10 seconds is too long for a scrapper to let a bad guy live...

Ah ok, while I figured with that team makeup stacking hold protection would be a non-issue, I figured it would be a pain to keep mag 100 protection on the entire team. Great work, always nice to see people succeed when doing things "the wrong way."
[/ QUOTE ]
Of all the STF's I've ran, the all defender ones were by far the easiest and fastest, seconded fastest was an all Controller STF. -

...is a nice civil war.
In all honesty, I've been thinking about it while anticipating MUA2. The heroes on Marvel were asked to start registering their super powers because they were dangers to the populace. This meant registering their secret identities too. Now, if you're like me and you make new characters every once in a while you'll notice the nifty ID cards we all get to fill out prior to play.
We're registering as Heroes. We're registering powers, available money, amount of XP gained, levels, and our histories. Anyone else find that a little shaky? Lets revolt.
= )
[/ QUOTE ]
It wuld be suicide for heroes. You ever notice how civilians push us around. They are obviously stronger than we are... -

To play devil's advocate for a moment:
My sub dies again on Thursday and as per my location, I don't plan on returning until I-16 hits test.
I'm well know for taking breaks from the game, so this is nothing new.
But the question is "Why a break now? Didn't you just come back?" Yup. I dropped back in for I-14's freebie week and bought another month.
Then I-15 hit test and I saw nothing there of note. Having that land on top of my raised eyebrow at the mass bannings for the MA clusterfark made me say "hmmmm, think I'll come back later when things have calmed down again."
The point to this post? Disappointment may not always be expressed as "arrghh, doom, i hate this game, the devs are evil and monstrous fools, ARAHRGAHRGAH."
Sometimes, disappointment is a very quiet, "meh."
Looking forward to I-16! Because I like the devs and love the game.
[/ QUOTE ]
Now I don't feel so bad.
I did and am doing the same thing; came back for I14 after a month and a half off (although I only reactivated one account). I'm not impressed with I15, but that's because I was hoping for some more power proliferation.
After this run ends I'll be back for I16. I can use the summer off anyways... -
Players should send caffeine and Red Bulls from now on with a "Get back to work!" card...
-
Happy belated Birthday Chumster!
By the way, I unpublished that story I was working on in order to tweak it, I'll let you know when it's done. -

Pole-arm~ Basically, make a two handed stick set with animations that make it applicable for a variety of weapon types. Such as a two handed shovel, bo-staff, spear, or even a scythe. I've really wanted a Scythe for a very long time. I think with this and dual pistols coming you, you'll have managed to cover all the weapon sets except perhaps nun-chucks.
Nun-Chucks- Really, we need nun-chucks.
Elemental Storm- I want a ranged blast set that uses a variety of different elemental attacks. I don't know how you'd balance it, I just waaaant it.
Water Blast- Because not every aquan based character I envision has the ability to freeze water. Again, don't care so much how it works, I just want it for concept reasons.
Elemental Summoning- 3 imps, 2 Frosty Snowmen, 1 Granite, all mastermind~
[/ QUOTE ]
Ohh elemental storm! reminds me of a character from the cartoon Bionic Six. Ah the nostalgia... -

You know what's a cool idea that they'll never do?
Auto level for people who've already reached 50.
Now hear me out with my imaginary scenario that I've pulled seeming out of my [censored].
WoW has a class called death knight that starts at level 55 out of 80 levels. They've also had serious thoughts of giving this auto level 55 status to anyone who has reached level 55 or 80 or what not.
I think it would be awesome if they just came out auto level to say, 25 or 35 for anyone who has achieved either that level or level 50.
This is probably the only thing that I can empathize with PL'rs on, is that first jump from 1-20something. It can get tedious after you've done it and it'd be nice if you could just skip it.
But it will never happen so whatever. I can dream can't I?

I think they should ad new powersets for CoX for I-15 this year please make list of powerset you like in I-15.
[/ QUOTE ]
As a long time player of CoX, new powersets hold the most interest for me.
Notably missing are a Secondary powerset for Archery, an offensive set for Shields, an additional Scrapper epic.
I am also wondering about the promise that new powersets are coming once we get some other things like Mission Architect done.
So yes, I think a major focus of I-15 should be new powersets and new cross-over powersets. In fact some new powersets could be constucted from elements of old ones like an Archery Secondary could have elements of Trick Arrow and Devices/Traps.
I would also like a new travel powerset that is sort of a cross between jumping and flight that uses the Zero-G pack. You'd have, Zero-G Jump, Hover, and Blast-Off a very fast but short-lived flight-mode that takes a minute to recharge.
Anyway, new powersets are number one on the runway for me.
[/ QUOTE ]
I agree with you. If I'm not mistaken when the game first came out we were told we'd have quarterly issues. I understand why they had to tone that back, but I think it would be nice to add some "beef" to I15 especially since it's the anniversary (albeit late). I just find it hard to believe that I15 will be mostly additions to costumes/emotes and MA enhancements aside form the new TF/SF. -

I think one thing that is being overlooked is the following possibility:
Yes, you may switch sides, but ONLY WITH CHARACTERS CREATED WITH THE NEW RELEASE. Sorry about the caps, but it just seems like opening too many cans of worms if they were to allow fully tricked out fifties to switch sides at launch.
I expect that this will be very similar to the CoV initial launch - there may be a small handful of zones that allow interaction between Praetoria and Paragon, but other than that, existing characters and Praetorian characters will be in two separate worlds.

Not to go off topic Esch, but a few weeks ago I was watching "The Phone" on MTV (or VH1 I forget which) the last scene was in Gasworks park there was a huge graffiti tag "Esch" in the background. Approx 35:51 into the episode, my question Esch; seeing that it took place in Seattle, do you have another hobby we don't know about?
