I'm going to make... whoopie!
Seriously though I think I may just stick to farming 8 man spawns for awhile to hopefully get some purple drops. -
When I read the title I thought this was a post from someone from the EU trying to say "Rage is now stronger"
-
I think I'd like to give Iso's a run this go around. Not sure if I should use a low level existing toon or roll one of the proliferated sets.
16 TA/Arch Defender
2 DM/Shield scrapper
or
EM/WP Scrapper
DM/EA Scrapper
Traps/? Defender
I will decide by tomorrow for sure. -

With the I16 changes what level would a 50 be running this be? For the life of me I can't locate anything but the I16 overview.

Quote:Wow so they actually flew on a plane too!Someone from a Boston-based developer. Dude or dudette didn't know they had it until after PAX when they went and got tested by their doctor. Once they found out that it was h1n1 and not your usual cold, they contacted the Penny Arcade folks, who proceeded to get the message out.

Damn that sucks; get well soon dude.
P.S.
What game geek had H1N1 and decided to go to PAX and infect people? -
Quote:I'm factoring in pet damage. Pets can also serve as pseudo meat shields and increase Controller survivability over Defenders. Please show your working for something other than the fire/kin edge case.
Post 38 I personally see no reason to pick a Defender over a Controller other than the person behind the keyboard. -
I'll make this short because it's been talked about to death. After 5 plus years in this game it had become painfully apparent to me that the developers don't really care about Defenders. Defenders started out with medium damage, then it was scaled back to low to match Controllers (which end up out damaging defenders). The difference between a Controller and a defenders buff/debuff is negligible. And after creating inherent powers for the other archetypes; an inherent with no soloing incentive was thrown together. Some may even say the defender inherent actually rewards poor "defendering".
I mainly play Scrappers now; all around awesomeness. I used to love playing defenders, now unless I have a specific concept character in mind I just roll a Controller. -
Nice! What was the loot like on a two man run?
The SR had what 60% positional defense? Must have been a blast! -

Only change I would make to travel powers is to make them inherent, then adjust the vet reward

Quote:I also have T-Mobile, I used to have a Wing but it gave me so many problems I finally had to switch. I just purchased a My Touch G3. The thing to remember with the G3 phones is that you need to purchase a data plan with it. Overall I ended up spending $20 more a month, but I have unlimited data. I just wrote a short review for it on another website. I'll paste it below:I have T-Mobile, fwiw. It's easy enough to find unlocked phones on eBay. I'd like to be able to get online with whatever new one I get, since I'm going to be traveling every weekend from February to the middle of April.
Pros:
Smallest cell phone I've ever owned and also the lightest.
Some very nice applications.
Very bright display.
Does not waste battery power by lighting up the screen when you get a text.
Voice browsing with Google.
Virtual keyboard is good for one thumb texting but takes some getting used to.
Cons:
Comes with a "sack" not a holder.
Instructions are on the thin side. It took me the better part of 5 minutes to open the back, for fear of breaking the just purchased phone.
Highly touted "Sherpa" has been experiencing connection issues over the past week or so.
Android market is not as broad as iPhones yet.
Rated as one of the highest radiation emitting phones.
Virtual keyboard is slow when switching orientation. It is also not very sensitive, sometimes you have to press HARD in order to get a response.
Unlock pattern takes some getting used to. Still not convinced it's better than using a numbered locking system. In fact you can see the unlock pattern left behind in screen grease. -
By the time the rez is available to scrappers you shouldn't be dying that often to care
None of my SR scrappers have a rez. In the rare occasions that I might face plant, a skittle will do. -
I don't see why the old missions and maps can't stay. I would think the Praetorians would be able to travel back and forth between dimensions.
I don't see anything wrong with tweaking the missions to get rid of some of the duller content, however I think there are a lot of other missions and TFs that should be tweaked before, like Positron. It might be a lot easier with the exemplar changes in I16, but it's still a boooooring introduction to TFs. -
I had a similar issue last week. My screen froze, then would only boot up with colorful static. I narrowed it down to the Videocard or MoBo bus but didn't have a spare of either to swap out. I ended up getting a GeForce 9500 GT 1GB to replace the GeForce 8500 I had.

There are zone specific events like raids in Skyway or the fires in Steel, although I have to admit, they lose their luster after awhile

The scrapper in me wishes there were waves and waves of ambushes heroside...

The bug is: 8 Hamsters and no one face planted?
