You know I'm down anytime to support an event or idea you have. In a couple of weeks school will be over and I'll be back to playing regularly. No more 30 minute sessions twice a week!
  2. Another great idea from MP!
  3. The Praetorians stopped for coffee and donuts. They will be there shortly...
  4. Victory is the official "Sexy Server"

Don’t forget there is “Hamster Style” also…
  6. We also have at least three Hamsters, our own Emote and probably one of the longest running weekly SGs (Isolators) around.

Besides if I had a dollar for every MoTD on that channel that could be deemed offensive I'd be able to pay for a lifetime subscription to CoX...
To be 100% honest some of this is coming from not being able to get a hold of a GM when I'm locked out of TF missions, but a GM finding the time to change a MOTD.

While i didn't find it offensive someone either did or was just being a ***** idk, but again they have to enforce CoH rules it's their job.

  9. IMO since Global Channels are made by players for players, however the channel admins choose to moderate it is their prerogative. If non admin players have a problem with how it's being moderated, they are always free to leave and start a new one.

The only time I have a problem with global channel moderation is when a non admin takes over the channel. Such as in the case with a GM on Victory not too long ago.

    Tablet Support?

I have enough trouble staying connected to CoX on a land line, so although I love my iPad2 I shudder when I think about running it all wireless.

I would love to have Mids as an app though...
  11. The lag is especially frustrating during the BAF when I'm on my Traps defender. I found that laying mines and poison trap along the paths is a good way to prevent the prisoners from running off too fast. However that plan goes out the window once the lag starts. It's truly a shame.

And in the IDF, you have lots of robots and lots of psychics.

Psi Blast for Blasters has the benefit of fairly heavy damage to fight resistance by sheer brute force, as well as a select few attacks that deal physical damage, as well, but fighting a great many of the game's adversaries with Psi is a SORRY experience, far more so than using Katana or Broadsword, though probably on the same level as Assault Rifle.
I think the OP meant S/L is the most commonly resisted damage type
  13. I like the new trials, I do not like the cumbersome Incarnate system. I also do not like the map servs, but I almost expect several disconnects when I play.

I haven't lead one, and probably won't since I'm leaning towards not using the Incarnate system other than the Alpha slot unless they pare down salvage etc. While participating in them I don't feel mindless, even though I just follow my team leader to the spawn points and look at league chat for other directions. I do however feel "leechish" sometimes as there is so much lag I can't tell if my powers are recharged yet, other times I have to click a power 2 or 3 times before it goes off.

I enjoyed the runs lead by you, MP, and Ele, but I think it's time to work on that Fire/TA Corruptor now.

I never read Dante's Inferno, but what about the CoT hoardlings?
  15. My opinion, once you have any Incarnate power slotted you should earn iXP, in whatever you are doing. You're 50, you don't get XP anymore and you're an Incarnate so you should be getting iXP.

Shards should be replaced by Threads or vice versa, either way one of them should go.

As far as Astral/Empyrean merits go, I'm fine with them staying in the Incarnate trails only.

I always crave chicken nuggets with hot sauce after fighting them...
  17. Call me lazy, call me stupid, call me whatever you want to, but all this math, all these conversions etc takes a lot of the fun away from the game to me. That is one of the reasons I'm more than likely not going to participate in the Incarnate system past the Alpha slot. If I happen to make progress towards the other slots then so be it, otherwise I'm not going to bother.

My hat goes off to all you players that can/will and have no problem with the current way to make progress with this system. After 8 hours of dealing with Windows and Unix servers, then another 3-4 hours of class, the last thing I want to do is stress my remaining brain cells out on something that should be "fun". Luckily there are enough other things to do to keep me occupied.

This one I now strongly sympathize with. It really gets old fast having to run the same 2 tasks repeatedly. Still I don't blame the devs. I'd rather have i20 now than wait for more Trials to be created/tested. Too grindy? Take a break and do something else. This is a problem that will solve itself after they release a few more Incarnate Trials.
I think they should have allowed iXP to be earned as long as you have an Incarnate power equipped

I'm doing the same thing. After this week I doubt I'll be partaking in the Incarnate system on most of my toons other than the Alpha slots.
  19. I decided to only run these twice a day before I do my best Roberto Duran impersonation and say "No mas". Unfortunately since these are the only ways to get iXP (that I know of), I feel in a way "forced" to constantly repeat these trials while they are still in high demand. I haven't made enough progress to unlock either of the next two Incarnate powers yet on the one toon I have been concentrating on even though he's ran 8 or so BAFs (Still only 78%).

IMO since they introduced iXP into the mix, toons should earn iXP anytime they have a top tier Alpha Incarnate power slotted.

My admiration for the Incarnate system as a whole has decreased significantly over the last week with the repeating content, the new merits, new salvage, iXP etc. If the system stays the as it is now I'm reserved to only unlock the alpha slot on some toons. I probably won't even bother on the rest unless I casually unlock them.
  20. And Virtue. Surprised Freedom hasn't had it happen yet.
  21. Victory was down on Saturday... Maybe it's a feature of I20?
  22. EnigmaBlack

    Victory IS down.

It's times like these I wish there the character sever was different from the environment server.
  23. This happened to me yesterday after one successful BAF run. On the second attempt I got booted instead of getting the confirmation dialog. This sucked because the league I was running with plowed through the BAF like it's been around for years already. And of course there was no option to rejoin because according to the game I "quit" before the event started.
