I was running through the Dream Doctor's arc in DA, I had just gotten a purple about 5 minutes before the servers went down. I hope it's still there when I log in, although it was only an Unbreakable Constraint I'm still a bit of a purple hoarder...

I couldn't imagine what my survivability would be without FS. It's a must have on my farming fire/dark corr and my team built dark/ice and dark/dark defenders. -

The thread drops seem to be fine. I average 3-4 per mission (set to 8).
However the reward tables leave much to be desired. I completed 4 (or 5 my memory isn't great) arcs and each one I rolled common salvage. It would have been nice to get anything other than common at least once. I know my sample size is small so I'm not sweating it too much... yet.
I also got 3 Catalysts which I don't plan on using so the drop rate really doesn't matter to me. -
If I can get my PC up and running in time my plans are to get a few toons to 50
37 BR/Rad Corruptor
8 Dark/Dark Controller
In the event Staff and/or BM are released tomorrow then I'll plan to get the following toons to the 30s
Staff/???
BM/DM Mastermind
If I can't get my PC up and running and only have my MacBook to play on then I'll concentrate on the BR/Rad Corr.
If 2xXP also doubles incarnate XP then I'll unlock my Lore slot on my Elec/SD Brute. -
I'm not sure why the turning into a zombie after you die is a surprise for the characters. I recall a few episodes earlier when Daryl and the blonde chick were out looking for Sophia, they came across a campsite. Outside the campsite there was a guy that hung himself, he had turned into a walker. Daryl made a remark about how the guy was dumb because he hung himself instead of shooting himself.
Although the timing of the reanimation seems to be convenient to the story line, for example, in the time it took Shane to come back, those guys Rick killed in the bar should have came back to life while Rick and his crew were still inside with the bodies. -
I just have to say Laurie is the worst mother on TV. One would think that in a world infested with Zombies she'd keep better track of her son. Every time we turn around Carl is getting into something he shouldn't be, and she wants to have another child... geez!

Probably 9999 however I've never heard of anyone reaching it. Remember that to convert merits into an A Merit requires 50 merits and 20 million influence. Is it possible that you've run low on inf on that toon? If you have 50 merits and 20 million inf, and you've gone beyond the conversion cool down then you should be able to convert. If not then it appears you've found a bug.
I know for a fact that you can have 90 A Merits... I've a buddy who likes to collect them. For that matter there's some things that cost as much as 35 A Merits. Right now I've a couple of characters who have 8-10 A Merits each on them.

Is there a cap on the amount of Alignment merits you can hold at one time? I wanted to convert all my merits to A merits but even after the 20 hour cool down the option to convert doesn't so up. I currently have 2 A merits on that toon.

Yes, you can get 9 emps in a night, but that is not realistic unless you have no life and have all day trying to get into anything other than baf or lam on the most populated server. Even so, if i had spent say 5-6 hours running all of those trials, it would take me 36-40 hours of play time strictly trying to get 1 IO recipe at a time. That sounds like a ton of work.
Like one of the other posters said, emp merits are not the most efficient way of getting this. unfortunately the only "efficient" way is afk farming, or constant farming missions in game. That doesn't really seem reasonable.
I've had long droughts of no purple drops, weeks at a time. Then there are times, like Sunday where I got two on the same day. Some may consider the Emp to purple exchange to be excessive, but IMO it's easier to mow down 50s until you either get the one you want or get enough loot to sell and be able to afford what you want.
In the case of PvP recipes, I am currently saving Emps to get a Glad Armor proc. I started saving up about 1.5 months ago, some days I run iTrials, some days I don't, other times I run iTrials with other toons. I'm up to 43 Emps atm. Even if it takes me another 1.5 months to get the remaining 17 Emps, I'd much rather have spent 3 months of running iTrials to get enough EMps to purchase exactly what I want and at the level I want it, than to have to spend God knows how long engaging in the PvP system, especially with the rare drop rates and ridiculous cool down timer. -

The devs and community reps have never said that Staff Melee or Beast Mastery would release with Issue 22; they've said that they would release DURING Issue 22.
When asked for clarification, it was said that that means that the power sets will be released after Issue 22's release date, but before Issue 23.
Furthermore, they've outright said that the three Dark powersets are the only ones going live with I22.
There's really shouldn't be anything surprising here.
Anyways, if they were to release those two new sets with I22 then they'd probably be hurting the new iTrial as that would have players taken away from it as they roll and level up new toons. In fact I hope they don't release them for another 1 to 1.5 months, rhis way I can build points up... -

Some players choose to slot for S/L because it's the most common damage type for NPC attacks while others like me would rather slot for positional defense R/M/AoE whenever possible, because while all attacks may not be S/L, all attacks are either R/M/AoE.
As far as ranged defense on a Corruptor, it can be achieved but not as easily as on a Defender. Also getting the IO ranged defense bonuses require 6 slotting in many of you powers where as slotting for S/L bonuses only require 3-4 -

Procedure on p25 - unplug from mains and short the jumper.
Load the Fail Safe defaults - you can reapply any overclock once you know you have a working system.
Doesn't sound like failed ram - that will generally give a beep code and you say you find the system still auto shutting down with nothing installed except the CPU and presumably the CPU fan.
That would restrict it to MB, CPU or PSU - same problem with the other PSU make it unlikely that is the problem.
So as I said clear your BIOS settings and then try again with only CPU and CPU fan connected - if the fan keeps spinning start adding everything else back in until either it fails or you have a working system.
Oh and too much TIM between the CPU and the heatsink can be worse than too little as it will act as a thermal insulator - it is intended to fill in the microscopic gaps not to create a thick layer between the two. It has better conductivity than air but is much poorer than metal to metal contact
I also reseated everything, same results.
I had both ATX plugs connected. I also tried to turn on the system by using a screwdriver to touch the power pins on the MB, same results. This was without the video and sound card.Quote:Originally Posted by microc

If anything I may have had too much paste as I went a little squeeze happy and got more than a "pea" sized amount on the CPU, there was a tad bit coming over the edge which I had to clean up. All connections are firm and in place. I assembled the pieces using an esd mat and wrist band so I doubt static caused a short.
When I power on the system it comes on briefly and the fans spin, then it cuts off. There seems to still be power to the MB as the lights on my sound card are still on as well as the light on the CPU cooler.
I tried removing and swapping out the RAM with no success. I even tried powering up the system with no extra peripherals attached (sound card, video card, drives) and still had the same results. I also reseated the CPU... nothing.
I also tried using another PSU I have, a Thermaltake XT 775w, same results.
I'm really at a loss as to what the issue can be so I got a RMA for the MB and CPU and will hopefully get replacements next week.
I didn't think the RAM would have been the cause so I didn't RMA that. If the issue still persists when I get the replacement I'll be totally stumped, the only other thing it could be would be the case itself, an APEVIA X-Jupiter Jr. which I've had for about 4 years now.
Any ideas out there as to what could be the issue? -
God I hope not, I'm getting pretty tired of spending time getting Incarnate powers only to have more options later.
Which of course wouldn't be a problem if we could respec them, but I'm not holding my breath on that one... -
Hopefully I'll get my PC issues resolved before then. Tonight is another marathon night of troubleshooting...
