I'll just say since i19 I've been having frame rate issues (no real crashes per se) myself....different topic maybe but...just thought I'd say, "yeah me too!" :P

Edit: Looking above, I just disabled the Catalyst A.I. (what does it do?)....NCsoft support said to un-install the Catalyst control center in general....I may do that after this (if it doesn't help)....

I'll just throw out my ideas (and support others).

I would love to see my Medic heal/buff me first and then the other pets.

I'd agree to have Serum changed....into SOMETHING that is worthwhile in taking. Even with the new inherent fitness I didn't take Serum on my Mercs/Traps...just not worth it.

I'd like to see more damage and/or more control from the Spec Ops/Commando (heck all pets ).

Hmmm, curious about that...

I'm wondering what powers I have slotted wrong because I see certain powers (Rain of Fire, Ice Storm, etc...) that say acc. of 2.0X and so I'm like, "sweet, no acc. needed!" Hmmm...

That and someone told me about a week ago that the poison trap from the Traps powerset needs Acc in it because the chance for hold has a tohit check against it....I just had it slotted for 3 hold and 3 rchg...

I still don't know where these Praetorian DE are...never seen 'em before in the game...

I've only done the LW mission on my main badger (EI Kin/Rad Defender). Took 8 purple inspirations and Eye of the Magus accolade power to defeat her. That's it She was an orange-conned EB to me.

Well, updated the drivers and got in a few teams with my main toon (EI) and it seemed to help a little bit (just updating the drivers that is)...but still get the frame-rate loss/spikes. But not sure how much is related to all the server maintenance stuff that was happening (others were saying they were getting spikes too)....

Edit: Oh and I got my video card from Newegg.

Looking at the Catalyst control center, in the ATI Overdrive section...it doesn't appear that I can change any of the settings.

"Enable ATI Overdrive" is checked....currently my temp is 42 deg. C, activity is 0% and fan speed is 55%.

When playing CoH, it shows: 56 deg. C., 78-80% activity, 59% fan speed.

Around 3:25pm EST I was doing a tip mission (villainous side) and in the mission I defeated a boss but then you had to talk to that same person before you finished him off. So I clicked on him (while still being under attack) and then I get kicked out of the server...the game crashes.

It was a weird crash too...it had my mouse cursor do the typical "thinking" icon and then the screen flickered and turned all black...then...a few seconds later, it went back to the game screen still 'thinking'...then finally got the windows 7 "program is not responding" message.

I killed CoH, checked server status page to make sure servers were up and they were; re-launched CoH. Logged in and chose the Liberty server; got the "no response from server, try again later."

Looked at server status page again....still said 'up'....logged back in, and then I clicked on the Liberty server again and wa-la, I was able to get back in.

Logged back into my toon that was doing the tip mission (EI) and, of course, he was dead but the mission also reset itself

No one else was booted from the server they said.....

I got a response back from NCsoft support saying update my video drivers...did so...now just need to test to see if they have/will help or not (I had version 10.8 but now have 10.12).

As a picky eater I wholeheartedly agree with The Punisher!

So ever since i19 went live (I think, not sure when it started to be exact; but at least for 1.5-2 weeks) I've been having some issues while playing.

When I'm on a team (usually doing a TF of some sort; teams of 8) on my Kin/Rad Defender I am usually in melee range and use FS and other AoE powers (Irradiate, etc).

I've been noticing that when I'm in a team and in melee range (doesn't have to be in melee range but it's the most obvious when I am in melee range) and people use AoE powers like FS, Lightning Rod, any sort of 'nukes' or what have you I start to see latency/spikes in frame rate dropping.

I have a brand new PC (5 months old ) and have been running on Ultra mode settings ever since I got it and was able to do hami raids and everything else no problems whatsoever.

So I looked at /netgraph 1 and a few times (sat. nights/during peek times) I might see some red spikes in it but usually nothing too bad/obvious. I do have Verizon FiOS 25/25 so usually it's not my connection.

I was looking at /showfps 1 and sure enough that would go from 40-60 fps to 1 fps (at worst where it just 'freezes' the screen and sometimes I'd die ).

So I turned down all graphics to the lowest possible (turning shadows and what not off) and still get the same thing (maybe not 100% the same because diff. TFs/people etc but... in general the same effect). So that would tell me it's not necessarily my PC either.

I've run a defrag and the NCsoft Game Advisor and sent a support ticket but....any thoughts/suggestions?

P.S. I play on the Liberty server....


Edit: Oh and I looked at /graphfps 1 and I can definitely see the 'spikes' of frame rate loss when I have the graphfps 1 up/on and tried to take pictures/screenshots of the issue(s) but it looks like the graph doesn't get taken in the picture.

Also noting the difficulty here. His +regen seems to do more regen than it did before per each clone but...can't be for certain.

Any new badges this Winter event?
