You had me at "Doctor Who"....
Looking forward to what they can do! -
Well tonight's run was successful!
Hooray
However because there were so many people wanting to do one...if you can, please sign up here.
Next week; same bat channel, same bat time. Sat. at 8pm EST. -
I didn't get to run a Keyes last night...by the time I got home and logged into Liberty everyone was "tired out" from Keyes
*sobs* I wanted 2 easy e-merits -
So I don't know too many movies/characters...
But the one I thought of is:
Elijah Wood; his (to me) big appearance being in the LotR movies of course and then going to Sin City.
I never saw Sin City but...I assume that's a bit more "R" rated than a "hobbit" movie(s) -

Quote:I'm not saying everythings peachy keen, because there's certainly some serious issues, however it's not quite Rollback severity.
The word Rollback has very, very serious implications when you're talking about a live product.
But....Rollback is used by Wal-Mart like it's going out of style!

Quote:This was something that was happening on the beta server, and that I *believe* was reported. I was part of a foursome of Titan Weapon characters of various levels that were running radio missions in Peregrine Island. On two separate Carnie radio missions, Vanessa appeared multiple times as an Elite Boss spawn. I'm not sure WHY a EB would be spawning on a radio mission, but she was, and often. No EBs spawned during radio missions with other enemy factions.
EDIT: See Energizing Ion's post above. He was the leader of my team.
As much as I'd like to take credit for what you are talking about...I don't remember teaming with TW toons and noticing the Carnie EB bug.
Only time I saw it was when I was on my Mind/Emp. Controller and was solo'ing....
Maybe I was playing CoH in my sleep though? -
Quote:Is she showing up as an AV or just like a regular Dark Ring Mistress replacement?
If it's the same bug that I bugged in beta; she's an EB.
I did a random radio mission in beta (testing interfaces) and bam! there she was in her EB form heh...even at -1x0 settings (or was it +0x0 *shrugs*)...she was orange conned... -
Cool; didn't know the movie was coming out. Interesting...

Quote:Here is a thought. Underground trial every other night. Liberty has the numbers to do it. You just have to convince them that baf/lam can always be done another time. Don't look at me to lead. I hate leading stuff.
Fine by me if people run the UG any other night.
I can't lead those nights though...I haven't been getting home from work until 11pm some-to-most nights and usually too tired to go for a 2 hour dive.
Sat. nights is when I can lead them so I do
Edit:
Also with the new patch; the UG rewards a Rare or VR all the time (no more Commons/UCs!)! -

I know you're the messenger but I have to agree with the others, I know for sure this bug was /bugged in the i21.5 beta forums and yet it still goes live. It's just a bit sad
Quote:I would love it to be an option Null can turn on for us though...
And to all those that said the AE fixes aren't in the patch notes...
1.) It could be a mistake. Things happen and they have forgotten notes before (and not just "nerfs" either).
2.) They could have intentionally left it out with their policy of "not telling about exploits." Is popping inspirations before entering an AE mission an exploit? To me, no but...*shrugs* it could be why the notes aren't in the notes.
I'm kind of glad the new trial was pulled...gives more time for EI to get his day job badges
Edit:
Also to those that said, "why didn't you beta test this?!" (UI/new badge collect popmenu/etc), my question back would be, "did you beta test it?" Granted some may not be able to (not a VIP or whatever) but there are, usually, too many people crying that x wasn't tested but they themselves never tested anything.
Sure it's not your job but there will always be things that the devs/qa people miss. Maybe you have a "weird" setup compared to normal people...and they only test x, y and z setups...so that's why it didn't get caught.
Call me a dev-apologist if you want but I just see me as a "realist"...I hate the UI bug (and was one of the ones that mentioned it in the beta forums) and hate how it went live but...*shrugs* I'm guessing the devs didn't want to release the patch on a Thursday (when they usually do actually patches on Tuesdays)...probably from higher-up telling them, "Do it!" -
Quote:Maybe not so much animation for the power; but the FX for the powers themselves...the Pyronic judgement was definitely different than other fire powers. The same could be said for all the other judgement powers too (with maybe the exception of Ion; not sure if that chain FX is the same from other electric "chain" powers).Interesting article!
Nice to see some new worth Interface powers, and natural based Judgment.
But:
Maybe Im wrong but, got any of the Incarnate powers got a unique animation YET?
I think they use common existing animation (One of the big cons of Incarnate powers, at least to me) -
While it may not be a perfect match (I think it is in some ways)...
Fabian Cortez http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fabian_Cortez works for me.
The whole making someone more powerful but also able to take away their power (or at least the power that he gave them I guess). -
Quote:Yeah I don't get his complaints either...it's a story; sometimes one side doesn't know what happens (or what has happened) until it's over with.Yeah, Johnny. Why? Why does this happen? Because the Villains struck first, struck hard, and struck where it hurts. They have the heroes by the yarblocko's and it shows. Consider the SSA title: WHO WILL DIE? A member of the Freedom Phalanx IS GOING TO DIE. How can you NOT expect some serious villainy to be happening? The heroes aren't going to stop it. It's how the SSA ends.
If you ask me, Villains are getting more information not only because they're the ones perpetrating this entire scheme, but because Mr. Behind Closed Doors is going to royally fork the villains over at the last minute.
Isn't it kind of cliche to have the heroes blundering about not knowing who the "real villain" is behind things in any comic book/story (or at least some)?
I mean, thought that was part of the thing....heroes are reactive; villains are proactive (for the most part)....so villains do something (kill the daughter in this case) and heroes now have to respond.
Edit:
Oh and for the hero side of things....a "new" class designation of villains has arrived!
"Marshal"
When you fight Marshal Blitz, he's not a boss, EB or an AV...just "Marshal" -
I almost never have the issue and I use the Get all Inf. button too.
*shrugs* -
Oh how I hate Rivers...I sit him this week and started Vick in one of my leagues...sure enough no defense shows up at all in the Packers/Chargers game but at the end Rivers had more points than Vick did...grr...
Couldn't throw or run in for a TD could ya Vick? -
Quote:As much as I wanted mine to place.... Zyphoid got friggen robbed! He entry is only 3 posts underneath the grand prize winning entry and it's easily the best costume design there.
..
I'd disagree but...taste is subjective...or is it, beauty is in the eye of the beholder? -
I have not seen either show but one of my friends said that he likes Grimm quite a bit but doesn't care for OUAT.
-
Congrats to the winners!
I'm a bit disappointed though since I figured "fight crime in style" means having a picture of the toon fighting crime...and not just standing around...
