Wow, I'd be all for EI getting "promoted"...but...he's my "badger" character and if I can't play him anymore...then....how will I show my awesomeness if I can't do it through badges collected?
Hmmm... -
Quote:I noticed on ugt during the bomb phase that my stalker will not start the bomb countdown timer until I attack. So...If liberty has 6 stalkers out there, that could be a much easier way of doing the bomb badge for ugt on 2nd phase. Just a thought to throw out there. Highly unlikely that 6 stalkers will be on 1 ugt(especially on liberty) , but its ok to dream right? Been on 2 failed runs back to back. My thoughts are......Too many plp just want to use ugt for ixp. No problem with wanting xp, but that messes with the plp who are lvl shifted and want to actually complete the trial for a component they need.
Hmm, that'd be interesting. Do you know if you can 1-hit the bombs with BU+Assassin's Strike? -
Well the comic book power I'd want is to be a telepath (so I can know what others are thinking and/or control them)....
But CoH powers?
Hmm, tough one....lots of good ones to choose from.
I would say Superior Invis. but...it seems I'm invisible to some people now anyways (zing!)
I'll take Fly (Flight) with the Afterburner toggle on as well. Nice way to travel and would be fun to fly around I think -
I saw the first 2 but never anything after that...First one was good-to-okay...Second movie was...meh at best for me at least.
-
Yeah having the AoE immob. as a cone instead of Targeted AoE is...a bit meh but...*shrugs*

As to the stalking... There is approximately 1,000 miles between me and Paragon Studios, strictly geographically speaking. Then again, that might cover the philosophical difference too.
Let's be honest, your username (Snow Globe) is just too obvious.
You use plain ol' snow globes to use as palantirs to see what the devs are doing from all that distance away!
The truth is out, freedom reigns!

Quote:Whew, glad I'm not the only one, at least I'm not that blind to a dev post in the i22 forums heh....Where have they said that? I havent seen any posts to that affect.
Was it in the Ustream? I missed it this week... and the cliff notes only say "no comment... ask Baryonyx."
Not being accusitory, but I'd like to see ANY red name response to this issue, even that one. -
Joking aside I will say, I would consider this if I wasn't going to have double-jaw surgery sometime "soon"...which will use up my vacation time heh.
Oh well, 10+ days of CoH sounds good! -
If you want to have a badger with all the badges; make whichever toon you want a Praetorian...right now neither Villains nor Heroes can get all the badges.
But like the others have said, get a toon that clicks for you and use it. Most of the "hard" badges have been "nerfed" (like the healing ones or damage taken, etc....) so it's not that hard to get it on a non-healing/empathy toon/etc... -

Wednesday night was supposed to be for newbies, was it not? One sure-fire way to discourage newbies is to get all up in their faces on what's supposed to be newbie night. (You were a prince about it. Others were not)
...
I wasn't there but I agree wholeheartedly.
If someone is new (and even if they're not) you shouldn't demoralize them and call them names. Who knows what the issue is; maybe it is lag, maybe it's RL calling (wife, kids...etc...).
I can understand, a little, calling someone names/stupid/etc if you "know" the person but still...
Even just /telling the person through tells what to expect/what not to do may be better since they may be ashamed of talking in the open/league chat.
Now that doesn't happen during the trial since lots of things are happening at once but maybe before and/or after the trial.
I know I try to say, "oblit in 5" and "move (around 1-2 secs before oblit fires)" to try and help out but sometimes I forgot to check the timer as well as just people not moving....*shrugs* -

hehe, and if I was a bettin' man, I'd say a good 90% of those "OMG I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT TEH WIKIPEDIA!" don't actually financially support it. :P
I did lol though....so thanks
Always I cried a bit...(not really)
-
Quote:hehe I think I would "lol" at some of those "tweets" (ughIf this whole situation has shown anything is that being 'anti-politics' doesn't solve anything, it makes things worse. If everyone had been apathetic towards these events, because "meh, politics" then this crap would have quietly passed.
If you look at twitter feeds and plenty of other places you can see loads of reactions from 'anti-politics' people who still don't have a clue as to what's going on.
"Pancake you Wikipedia! How am I supposed to write my paper now?").
I am apathetic towards quite a few things (which is my personal issue that I try to fight/get over)...but when I saw this and then the Google's website change, I actually did sign the petition as well as email the Senators/House of Reps. people for my state....something I've never done before.
By doing so I achieved the "morally superior to those that didn't do so feeling"! -
I still have fond memories of Asheron's Call 2 and Hellgate: London.
Ah...
But to the OP, I think I'll agree with what DarkGob has said. -
Quote:For those saying this issue is closed... i just got around to watching yesterday's AOTS and they had Reddit's co-founder on who brought up that there is yet another bill that is being brought up called OPEN
MovieBob has a video talking about why this will continue on after SOPA and PIPA as does AngryJoe.
This may actually be a good thing and save the US in the long run if we take and compare to Rome and why it fell, that being that it stopped caring... Maybe if the government keeps going more and more insane this quickly people will once again realize that they need to be active and involved and we'll start getting things done again... and things fixed up.
That's crazy talk
I'll admit I'm very anti-politics (very apathetic towards it all). -
It never even made me think of watching it from the teasers that I've seen.
*shrugs* -
Quote:Just out of curiosity, what percentage of the game's player base lives within say... a three hour drive of wherever this is being held?
I mean I understand that it's convenient and inexpensive for Paragon Studios to hold this in their backyard, and when it was just a glorified meet and greet, I didn't have an issue with that. But now it's a "Players Summit" where players are giving real input on the future of the game, and it's being limited to those who can drive to, or afford to fly to it. That's not right.
If you held one in the fall in CA and one in the spring on the east coast, the midwest, the south, or even in Europe, fine because then you'd be including more than just the same people all the time, but now it sounds like you won't even be coming to the east coast this spring. Which means that if you come to NYCC this fall, CA will have had three player summits to our one meet and greet in a year and a half.
What I suggest is what's been suggested after the first Player Summit. Have the survey that they gave out (or will give out) in the Player Summit and email it out to every VIP/subscriber (and possibly premiums too).
That way everyone has a chance to put their feelings/thoughts into it and not just those that can go to the Summit wherever that may be.
Edit:
Then again, that'd mean they would have to fix their email system so that people can receive emails from Paragon (I never get their announcement emails even with everything checked and double-checked; but I get the bug/petition emails and the survey emails just fine!). -
-
I have it and use it on my StJ/Regen Brute....it's pretty nice
-
Ooookay so I haven't been on lately....a few reasons:
1.) Real life has been busy with work/etc... (trying to figure out when I'm going to have double-jaw surgery (oh yeah, I know you're jealous!))
2.) The last few nights (weeks?) when I do get on; usually no one is on or is talking. I'm sure that's in a part because of that one far, far away galaxy game that just came out but also probably cause some just finished doing itrials and are now 'bored' with them which I understand.
3.) i22 beta is out! Weee!
3a.) Psst, btw the new DD iTrial is pretty much a "tank-n-spank" if you haven't read anything (as long as everyone (or most everyone)) is +3. Most mobs are lvl 54+2 or +3 in it but beyond that....easy-peasy.
I know I have 3 toons that aren't lvl-shifted to +3 yet (Cold Caller, Magmificent and Arbiter Awesome)....so always up for any trial I can get in on. -
Never heard of any "blackouts" occurring until now. heh
Shows you how much I don't watch TV/news.
