Studio 55 is pretty empty, looks nice enough, and has plenty of room. Also, attached to the D, it makes a handy hub for general use.

Seeing as I've been trying to get in an ITF every night I can for the last two weeks, I doubt burning out on it would take too long. Then again, the reason I do so many ITFs is that I love Cimerora. The visuals, the enemies, everything about it is kinda neat. Even the 5th Column showing up.

Assault Rifle is pretty solid for quantity of AoEs.
You get Ignite, Full Auto, and Flamethrower as must-haves, and the extra options of Buckshot and M30 Grenade. It isn't as good as fire, since it still has lots of (highly resisted) lethal damage, but you do get a crashless fast recharge baby nuke with FA, which has the added advantage of immense range. -
I am torn on this issue. There is a part of me that says, "Give us what you've got, and worry about fixing it and adding fluff later."
And then I look at stuff like the AE, and am reminded that if it isn't right the first time, it probably won't be for a very long time. -
I once deleted a lvl 45 Emgro on Virtue because I thought it was the lvl 4 one on Justice.
Whoops. -

That's sort of the point of Suppressant. He's an old-fashioned supervillain. Human, lots of magic, some toys like his gun, but at the end of the day, punching things hurts his hands. So a plan is needed, preferably a complicated one that involves making the nearest person (said mutant) a minion.
-
Having begun my MMO career with a scaly, in particular a SWG Trandoshan named Emgro, I started with a rather high opinion of them. Since then, that opinion has depreciated a great deal until I now see no difference between them and the furries as a whole.
Anyway, I've seen more beef-related pun characters than Uno-playing furries. -
Suppressant would simply teleport out. He does that. Often. He'd teleport outside the cage, to his base, or simply to the D for tea and light conversation before possibly teleporting back into your prison, because simply escaping is no kind of revenge for any decent supervillain.
Oh, you said hero. Well, assuming the morally ambiguous still make it into your cell:
His primary offensive weapon is an assault rifle, which you have no doubt taken, leaving him with only his ample array of hoodoo magics. No, not hobo magics. These are generally manifested as Storm Summoning powers, but on occasion have been represented with Dark Blast, Electrical Control, and Earth Assault. Let us stick to core AR/Storm Suppressant, though, and not his younger Storm/Dark Defender junior or Electrical/Earth dominator elder. Also, we are now using the first person for ourselves.
The cell below me contains a regeneration mutant, drugged. One could perhaps even say stunned by your foul toxins. I will channel the powers of Sobo (since said mutant needs strength) to clear his mind and toughen him against your poison (O2 Boost provides stun protection). Then I will either encourage him to set off the explosives in the cells presumably also adjacent to him with his spikes in return for my help, since any regen worth his salt will survive said explosion in some way. Ideally, this will damage my cell without causing a chain reaction.
If a chain reaction seems likely because the explosives are unstable, I will dampen their spirits with some Freezing Rain. Even if they are able to explode when wet, cold will still impair their detonators.
My damaged cell is easily escaped since I am not an especially large man, and if necessary, the raw force of a Tornado can rearrange the cell walls. Your force field presumably lets air in through the window; a few Gales should clear your poison gas and ensure I constantly have clean air, even if I can't dodge the laser tripwires while they are possibly exposed by my Steamy Mist.
Speaking of Steamy Mist, your robots will be unable to detect me through that and the other tricks the loa use to hide me until I get into Hurricane range, at which point they will be going byebye. Robots are notoriously poor when facing large quantities of lightning or water, and I have an unlimited supply of both from Freezing Rain and Lightning Storm. Also, tornadoes. If all else fails, I will drop a Snowstorm on them, laugh as they pitifully crawl after me, and flee for the nearest exit.
Since I don't really know you, it would seem rude to cause needless damage, so I would avoid stealing any weapons or jury-rigging one from your bots and going on the offensive. Such things are reserved for enemies, not strangers. Perhaps I would mail you a box of my second-best tea leaves in compensation for the damaged cell. -
I used to be anti-Stamina. "Look at all the power slots it requires! Wasted resources!" However, after realizing the raw end drain that some sets indulge in require massive -end cost slotting even with Stamina, I concluded that it's better to use powers than simply have them.
-
If you played a stamina-free DA character, you are clearly a man of admirable fortitude. Also a complete lack of sense. If I still had my iron man brawl-only character, I'd suggest we team up some time.

Guess now people can stop complaining about you beggin' for blues.
Or you can roll a Dark/Earth Melee Tanker.
OSNAP HE DIDN'T. -
New goal is to get Sup to 50 and incarnate so I can run non-fail Apex this week. Not going to happen, although I did hit 44.6 with him tonight. No idea how long it takes to get the other stuff.
-
Cloak of Darkness turns you into a cloud of fuzz, and is available to Tanks, Scrappers, and Brutes.

The difference between ponies and horses?
How many people you can feed with one. -
*links thread to W-Summon*
I'm surprised nobody beat me to that one. -
Remember: Only the monkey animal cracker gets pants. Probably the only publicly decent thing I associate with Seth Green's voice.
-
I'd put in a vote for /Cold. It's a solid set, offering a lot of different things, making it useful on teams regardless of the enemy.

I think someone has forgotten that the point of a discussion forum is to have, y'know, a discussion. I hope you aren't hurt by the presentation of a perspective other than one that agrees with you, because I am neither going to apologize nor get off my horse of average height.
Moving on from being a jerk, why does "You will be noticed and gain more power... by being stripped of most of your power to go and run these errands over here" make less sense than "run errands and be noticed without accepting an additional challenge/being unwilling to respond to a need if you feel it is beneath you"? Consider the labors of Hercules, or how many a comic character loses some or all of their powers in order to remind them (or the reader) how many of the issues in life are not resolved by directly pummeling a bad guy somewhere.
Now, maybe you want your character to never do such a thing, or perhaps you don't care about RP, or getting old TF badges, or so forth. Or maybe you just hate this particular SF/TF pair. Those are all legitimate reasons to say, "I don't like this decision," or "I won't take advantage of this week's WST."
But don't say it's a mistake, or stupid, just because it doesn't suit you 100%. So far it's clearly served your interests 100%, and only this week will the ratio fall to 75%. How many times in a row do you want it to be the ITF, anyway? -
I have one (1) level 50 character, and have not run a single WST. I'm excitedly looking forward to this opportunity to run my many, many alts through the WST and get them some of the rewards you've been getting for weeks now.
So no, not everybody agrees with you. I'm sure anybody who got into the game recently is also happy to know that the devs are not only interested in adding new stuff for only for your playstyle.
In short: stop assuming everything must revolve around your playstyle. Either re-learn to play your character without all the easy-mode IO slotting and complete build, or decide you don't enjoy it and take a week off from grinding the WST and farm something else. -
Just ran Sup (AR/Storm Corr) on an otherwise all-scrapper team.
You scrappers couldn't hold aggro if I put it in a bucket and dumped it in your lap. -
*pops out of his usual spot*
Kung Fu? Bah, my Kenpo is far superior. Behold, my unique spinning back-knuckle to tornado spike kick!
And by behold, I mean go find some old recording of it, because it's been a while since I was able to do any kind of tornado kick. -
Generic boss with an unresistable Storm Summoning tornado summoned every ten seconds who appears in every mission of my TF. Also gale. And Hurricane. Maybe make them unresistable too.
Doc Q, your competition is coming. -
Strongest set in general: Dark
Dark Melee is solid for Brutes and Scrappers. Downright impressive combined with Shield.
Dark Armor is tolerable to great with enough IOs.
Dark Blast has a good standing among Defender blast sets, and is not totally unwelcome among Corruptors.
Dark Miasma is bloody awesome all the time on any AT.
Yes, I redefined the question, but compare it to its brighter twin, Energy. Ew.
