First off, if I missed one being there and am completely blind, tell me.
Otherwise, I'd really like if they added them, because testing my missions extensively for balance requires me to run them with multiple ATs at multiple levels with multiple difficulty settings.
Balance is really important, and logging in and out four characters is enough time spent without having to jog them across town to a Fortunata two or three times to see how a set of enemies stacks up against an AT or how they scale differently.
Maybe rename it as some kind of AE employee or something? -
If the Devs have any sense, and their record suggests that they do have quite a bit of it, they'll be fiddling with the details of the MA rather often. My guess is that'll include Hall of Fame, total MA slots, and the size of MA arcs, mostly due to the fact server space and bandwidth are resources that need to be managed.
Observe first, then change. We're in the observe period. -
Just ran a friend's arc that culminated in a EB with Necro/DM that supposedly wrecked most players and got him some bad feedback. I steamrolled the guy; apparently my AR/Storm was an ideal match, since I flattened his minions with FR+FA, and melted the EB with Snowstorm/Hurricane/Ignite. Most of the time, none of them could hit me, and they went down after a while.
Point is? It's really, really easy to make matchups that are terrible, one way or the other. I'm thinking it'll take a lot of practice and experimenting to figure out optimal balance. -
This brings up an interesting idea for "strategy" arcs, designed to be stupid hard, or at least tricky.

Was running my AR/Storm Corr last night, and the party was annoyed at things fleeing. Finally one of the Stalkers asks,
"Can't you make the wind blow in the OTHER direction?"
Soft control is tricky to use when things are fleeing, and while I tried orbiting mobs and using gale from the other side to some success, it's just plain awkward when things run away and you have no Controller/Dominator who can or will pin them down. -
I have never played a female character in any online game, except one or two in betas to see how gear looked. But I really have no issue with people playing characters of the opposite gender as long as:
-They aren't being 'loose' (stereotypical #### being played by a guy)
-They don't freak out if I use the gender pronoun of their character and not them, especially when they don't tell me
-They dress their character in a reasonable way (I'm tired of female characters with minimal clothing. There's millions of options, use them!)
