Emgro believes in old-fashioned manliness, not this new-fangled bromosexuality.
[/ QUOTE ]
I don't like the term bromosexuality. It makes me think someone has a paraphilia for bromine, which, if you're unfamiliar with it, is a stinky, toxic, brown liquid halogen.
One could say that description has striking similarities to one of diarrhoea, but such bromides aren't that funny.
[/ QUOTE ]
but bromine is used in keeping jacuzzis/hot spas clean...
[/ QUOTE ]
It's related to chlorine, after all. It's just in a long line of things considered harmful that have useful purposes.
Y'know, like helicopters and high-powered rifles.
[/ QUOTE ]
Or intellectuals. All that thinking is usually bad. -

*hands Haetron a blank restraining order, then hugs him in a manly way, which is shaking hands*
[/ QUOTE ]
I've seen men hug in manly ways. It's all over the media, with their current infatuation for bromances. McCain and Bush, for example.

Why so blue? :<
[/ QUOTE ]
No no no, Captain, you need to add the yellow line in there.
"What happened to the yellow, since you seem kinda blue?" -

A little early, isn't it?

Not if he wants it properly dry and seasoned for best results. -

What's DDO? I generally would not be there on Wednesday, that's training night. Maybe if I take a night off I can come along.
[/ QUOTE ]
D&D Online, if memory serves. One of the worse games ever. -

Two /storm trollers and a storm/ defender?
I'm not sure about that melee character anymore, Emmi...
[/ QUOTE ]
No /storm for me, had enough of it after a Storm Defender and a Storm Corr and an Earth/Storm 'troller. Rad might work. Or TA or a... lots of options. -
I've always wanted to run an Ill/something controller, I'll go troll the boards for a fun secondary to go with it.

In my thesis research on piracy, I have discovered time traveling pirates!
Time Traveling Pirates
Look at the date of this attack. -

That's it. Im considering your refusal to cooperate with my request a personal attack as Im offended at being associated with you all in anyway.
Plus your e-hug violated my e-personal space, do it again, and Im requesting a posting restraining order.
And you have better have had your shots!

have to write lot of reports to child protective services
[/ QUOTE ]
Good thing you're a therapist, because there's only three groups of people that handle a lot of reports for child protective services. -

Hello all.
Now might be a good time to mention the Rookery. channel (don't forget the ".") for all your gaming needs. Sure we don't know everything. Sure we aren't the largest channel on Virtue. Sure we're not badge hhhoooores. But we're fun to play with.
SO JOIN ALREADY, K?
[/ QUOTE ]
Join, and start teams for me to join. Because my many, many alts require much teaming. -
[ QUOTE ]
and no one forces you to do those types of missions. enough is enough already.
[/ QUOTE ]
No, but I'm forced to spend 15+ minutes looking for a damn mission in order to NOT do a farm in the AE. It's completely ridiculous. -
Earth Control/Storm Summoning is a nice pair of visual powers, either together or separately.
-
Egregious amounts of things to do today. Sad Emgro.
*stands in a corner, slowly consuming hot dogs* -
In a terrifying development brought on by dwelling in the South far too long, I am considering starting future mornings with Mountain Dew.
-
Will Wright is still sad over you cretins failing to appreciate the sophisticated traffic AI in the original SimCity.
-
Switch Emgro back to his crab build earlier, since that one has a travel power.
Three leadership toggles, huge resists, teleport (and teleport friend), Omega Maneuvers, and Venom Grenade... what not to love?
EDIT: Also, features Emgro in a kilt about 40% of the time. So completely irresistible. -

Emgro it is far too late to back pedal now. You must hide and arm yourself, it's going to be like a zombie apocalypse! Cept they will all be women, with torches and curling irons!
You must be working from home hmm Yuri?
*With a hop and a bounce he pounces on Madisen and musses her hair mercilessly.*
[/ QUOTE ]
Backpedal? Never. I do not retract my statement, merely explain it. I have no regrets!

There's a reason for that comment, in the convoluted pathways of my mind. One of my coworkers cannot use Excel to save her life; she'd rather create even basic graphs in MS Word than use Excel. She was lamenting this once, and I said she shouldn't take Excel too seriously, and I offered to loan her my book on it.
She turned it down on the grounds I shouldn't take her too seriously, implication being I could and should keep on doing the graphing parts of the project. Which I did, along with continuing to tease her about the not taking her seriously. -

If they "savagely" cut the rewards given in MA as you suggest. MA would be a ghost town.
The Devs spent over a year getting MA ready for us to use and used alot of their time and resources (money) to do it.
I don't think it would look good on them if MA was a ghost town. How would they explain that to their bosses?
It's in their best interest to show that it was all worth the money spent by having MA used as much as possible by all subs.
Making it appealing to only a small community of "authors" wouldn't cut it and someone would most likely get fired for wasting company resources.
You will never see them cut rewards to MA to the extent that you are suggesting.
[/ QUOTE ]
No, we won't see such cuts. Instead, the devs are opting for the opposite approach, of gradually paring off exploits and excesses. According to the potential Hicks-Kalder criterion, that should get the same result as a sharp cut followed by gradual additions.
The issue is the psychology of it. A continual series of small nerfs may cause more negativity than one big one followed by a series of buffs. -
Excel is like a woman- a handy thing to have around, provided you don't take it too seriously.
*hides immediately* -

I was a Go-Go's & Joan Jett fan myself.
But none held a candle to my most favoritest female artist Pat Benatar (not a girl band, but Yummy nonetheless)
[/ QUOTE ]
Pat Benatar works. It doesn't really have to be a girl band, so much as a female vocalist.
And apparently I am now a fan of Bananarama. Thanks sidney.
Saen-Saen, Heart, and Nobuo Uematsu don't have much in common, but I like 'em all. -

This many posts, and nobody's mentioned Depeche Mode? (And what heck? Lacuna Coil did a cover?)
[/ QUOTE ]
Depeche mode is not something I listen to, since last I checked, it isn't an 80s girl band.
