I shared my anecdotal story about half-naked horsemanship among the Amish, not much else I can add.
Although after having a horse fall on me, I pretty much gave up on the creatures. -

*laughs softly, leaning in to whisper in Viv's ear*
A little exibitionism? An understatement I think.

Truly! In my younger, more crazy days I was a lot more apt to do things in public (and was caught at it a couple times too!), but now I have mellowed. Slightly. Ahh, to be wicked once again.

Gotta admit, there is something more awkward than being arrested for indecent exposure.
That'd be arresting someone for it. -

Riding a horse bareback while wearing nothing but dress pants and work boots is an awkward experience I have no wish to repeat.

I'm getting tired just watching Shecky run in and out like that. It's too hot for that much activity *sigh*.

I could use a little corruption to add flavor to my days.

Today is Tuesday. I have no time anymore. Need suggestions on getting more.

Villains: Ghost Widow. I love the look of the character, and her guest appearance in Seer Marino's arc left me feeling a bit star struck.
What can I say... I was only level 17 or so at the time
Also, although I have many favourite powers, Soul Storm is the best of the best - the pose you go into after casting it is the very definition of cool.
Heroes: Fusionette! No, really. She's incredibly annoying as an ally of course, but you know she means well.
[/ QUOTE ]
I've been doing the RWZ material on a pair of villains lately, and nearly added her as a favorite. I like how they remember to include the "little heroes" once in a while, as a reminder that not every NPC is an incarnate who can squash you like a bug.
Unless you're an IO'ed out brute who can solo Rommy for giggles. -
"Let's get violent for vegetables!" is now one of my favorite video game quotes.
-
Scirocco is in some ways my favorite Villain, mainly because he's so very human. He's not just evil for the heck of it; he actually believes good has a value, and strives for it sometimes.
Admittedly how he does it is out of whack with reality, but he's still trying to be more than just evil. Also, I like how he looks.
Another favorite is the Clockwork King, for the reasons people have already stated.
Don't really have a favorite hero. Don't do enough Blueside to notice 'em. -
The black-is-nearly-invisible will make me much happier about ice/fire armor.

But...but...I read it on the internet! It must be true!

Everything you have been told is a lie. -
I have catgirls for the same reason I have pirates.
Variety. -
Color me oblivious, but this explains why I never ran the Silver Mantis SF or saw people advertising for people to run it.
Invisible SG-only content for the fail. -
I never liked Cold Corruptors and their costume-concealing ice armor.
Ugh. That's just nasty. Coating your teammates in yellow ice? -

srsly wtf is this crap.

"Crap," most noble sir, is not using all the letters or proper capitalization, as one is expected to do in order to communicate.
*gives Haetron a hug*
Today's topic of deep, up-to-date news and importance.
Piracy.
While successful attacks are decreasing, the quantity of attempts are increasing. There is more activity spilling into the Red Sea, and the robberies off the coast of Nigeria are increasing in frequency.
This is in accordance with my predictions. However, my attempts to correlate traffic through the Gulf of Aden with those worldwide are going slowly. Similarly, attempts to generate either average ship-costs-per-day and a model for outcomes are also going slowly. The goal is to be able to run a Monte Carlo simulation to generate estimated external costs of various protective measures.
Thought for the Day: Just because it isn't "fluff" doesn't mean it's relevant. -

...that the AE building in the RWZ seems really out of place? I mean, it's a freaking war zone. Not the best place to set up a new business, you know?
[/ QUOTE ]
war zones are traditionally high-profit locations for those with the fortitude to stay open.
[/ QUOTE ]
Or those with an endless supply of giant robots and custom-made "superheroes" capable of beating anything to a pulp. Just look at the sheer quantities and levels of the Crey running around. They're superior to every villain group in the game except Malta, Arachnos, and the Rikti, and probably a match for those as well. -
Nethergoat's paranoia aside, this is what we need more of. Get people to stop mindlessly farming by showing them something they enjoy more.
Teaching people about additional options is far better than channeling them into "better" behavior by eliminating their alternatives. -
My vote is for Team Rookery, or Team Rookette, simply for parody value.

Hello, people.

Well, short of the [censored] magic comm farm. Special superweak enemy with extra XP bonus. Heh.
EDIT: I can't remember what I said that would have gotten censored, so I'll just leave it there for people's imaginations to fill in. I suggest either febrile or squamous. -

*cries* The fluffy innuendo is gone! Who stole the innuendo?

The innuendo may be gone, but I've got something else I've been meaning to give you... -

Sorry about your loss. 40 is too young.
A few things I do to try to keep in shape while gaming:
While waiting in game lobbies or waiting for everyone to group up for missions, etc. :
- Get on the ground and do as many pushups as you can in 2 minutes. If you do that everytime you wait for gaming to resume, you might end up doing 200 pushups in a gaming session.
- Stand up out of your chair and do some basic stretches, toe touches, pull your arms behind your back, calf stretches, etc.
- Stand up and do some squats with no weight. Just up and down 15-20 times and sit back down to game. You will be surprised at how sore this will make you the first few days.
- Or just go buy some 20-50lb dumbells from your local second hand sports store. They will be cheap and you can do a variety of exercises from your desk/gaming area while you are idle.
All of these things are small steps, but will help keep you in a little bit better shape than you would've been just sitting there.
P.S. Skip the soda, buy some Vitamin Water instead. Tastes good, less calories per serving and packed full of vitamins.
[/ QUOTE ]
This is pretty much what I started doing about a year ago, although I still drink soda or plain water instead of vitamin water or other fancy stuff. I have no weight issue, except being underweight (6'4", 140lbs), so a few extra calories don't worry me. -
