No big deal OP, I don't ever ask for speedboost, having played a Kin to the cap and hated every second of the set. I would just assume you were yet another worthless fire/kin who had never learned to play with a team. Functionally, you're indistinguishable from such a character if you demand that everyone say please and thank you for your buffs.
I guess what I am trying to say behind the snark is that you should use your damned buffs unless asked not to, not withhold your buffs like some petulant baby until everyone kowtows to your ego and fulfills your petty need to feel important in a superhero video game. -
Quote:Thanks for the ideas. I did finally manage to get that salvage on the market, after much struggle.Does this salvage you can't trade persist when quitting the game to the desktop? Can you sell it to a vendor? Kinetic Weapons shouldn't sell for much anyway, so you could try vendoring at least one to confirm it's not this problem. The point is to discover if the problem is specific to the Market or specific to the piece of salvage in question, because it looks like a problem I've had before that is salvage-specific.
Your ideas got me to test some other things. When I had the problem again just now, I tried both storing the salvage and enhancements and selling it to a vendor. The salvage and enhancements go into my base storage fine and sell fine to a vendor. I went back to the market and once again had to click a dozen or more times to get the stuff on the market. I also bought an enhancement from a vendor and tried to put it on the market; same deal, wouldn't take it without a lot of attempts. -
Quote:Nope, no such message appears, and the buttons to get items are not greyed out as they are when the "market too busy" message appears. When this happens, the Find button works perfectly well, and I can search, I just can't actually put anything on the market or take anything off it without clicking twenty, thirty, forty times or more.I don't see any problems of this sort with the new interface that I didn't see with the old one. Posting something only for it to be thrown back into my inventory is a common problem, and it was common before the new interface, as well. Outside of times when the Market is down, I've not had problems of being unable to retrieve items AT ALL.
Are you sure you're not getting the "Cannot process your request at this time" message?
I've had it happen with the old interface where an item gets tossed back at you when you put it on the market, but never like this. Once or twice, maybe. I've got, right now, a stack of three Kinetic Weapons that I have been trying to put on the market since last night with no success. Pretty soon Wentworths is going to sue me for harassment, I am clicking them so often
I am glad for you folks that don't have this problem because it is a right pain in the ***. -
I'm sure that anything your friend needs to play the game is fine. Accessibility issues and their solutions shouldn't contravene any EULA.

Quote:Yep, I have done that and all other reasonable things I can think of (short of reinstalling the game). The problem persists across zones, sides and characters when it happens to me. Sometimes the market takes my stuff properly, other times I have to drag the same piece of salvage or recipe into that window quite literally forty or fifty times. In the same vein, sometimes I have to click the Get button over and over again to actually get my purchased items. I've tried it on a different PC and had no better luck.Have those of you clicking a button for 20 minutes without success done something like close the window entirely and reopen it? Sometimes you just have to resync yourself to the server. I find it hard to believe it happens as often to one person as y'all say when so many of us experience it very little or not at all. Something tells me it's not just the interface.
Not saying I don't believe you're having an issue. Just trying to narrow the problem down a bit more than just "Fix the Interface."
It's only started to do this to me over the last few days, but it's extremely annoying. I don't think it's necessarily the interface, but there's something funny going on somewhere. -
Quote:Actually, what happens is they demonstrate that you absolutely could not have seen what you claimed, and then rightly call you a liar when you maintain that you saw it anyway, in defiance of game mechanics, math and objective facts about the game. Like the time you claimed that bosses were all resistant to Force Bolt, or the time you claimed that you ran out of end fighting a white con no-resist minion, or the time you claimed Snow Storm scattered mobs, or the time you claimed that the only power that a solo emp/elec had for mitigation was Tesla Cage. They tell me the things I saw happening with my own eyes didn't happen, and are then offended when I refuse to accept that assertion.
People see through your attempts to bolster your weak arguments with lies about what you've seen in game, Ultimo_. You're not fooling anyone, no matter how loudly you claim the impossible. When you have to make things up out of whole cloth to support your points, you've lost. -
I'm with you. It' never been like this. It might not be the UI but something is hosed. Right now I can't place items on the market, retrieve items from the market or get inf from sales. I have tried different zones and characters to see how it persists, and it carries across characters. This is on Virtue, which has had some troubles of its own lately, serverwise, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Quote:Well, as long as you are talking about things that you claim happened that absolutely could not have happened. . .The post you linked to is off topic, but I'll say this:
In essence, it was trying to tell me that what I actually saw happening with my own eyes didn't happen. That will always be an extraordiarily hard sell, no matter how much you all pat yourselves on the back for saying it.

Quote:It seems you don't know what the word "fact" means. At your low skill level, and with your refusal to learn, yes, endurance costs might seem excessive, but to the rest of us, it's easily managed.Emberley:
Personal slights won't change the fact that endurance costs are excessive.

No, some options have disappeared, hopefully not for good. The Warrior pants used to be available for categories other than tucked in. I've got a couple characters that won't be seeing a tailor until the option returns.

Nice to see some marketing action for our beloved game.

Loving the recovery serum, haven't got much use out of the rest yet.

I've never thought it rude when someone's asked to join my team. Then again, I don't take myself too seriously on the internet.

Quote:I'm with you on all but #4, but even that would be fine assuming #1 was in place as well. In fact these are some of the best, if not the best suggestions I've ever seen regarding merits.I think I've said this before, but if I had my druthers, I'd do the following things with respect to merits (ordered from least to most likely to draw ire):
1. Allow players to set the level that they'd like to roll recipes at.
2. Earned merits go into an account-wide pool.
3. Eliminate the option to purchase specific recipes with merits.
4. Force random rolls whenever the random roll merit threshold is reached through an immediate reward selection popup. -
This I didn't know. Makes me wonder how difficult a serverlist merge would be (enabling EU accounts to access NA servers, and vice versa). Clearly something's already merged in there.

If it's the bug I'm experiencing, it's different. Pets stay in the window, but can't be controlled, dismissed or anything, and refuse to move from the zone in point.

I'm always amazed when yet another person who hates being buffed by friendly, helpful people in a multiplayer game crawls out to post this thread. Is there no end to you? People will complain about anything at all, it seems. -
Quote:Can't say about the stacking of the effect, but I will say that when I slotted that thing it made a noticeable difference.I've seen lots of posts saying the proc only works on the top tier pet. The other day someone said that was a bug and has been fixed, I'm not certain either way.
People say great things about slotting it in Assault Bot, apparently it has a chance to proc for every critter in a burn patch. One guy said he's seen his Assbot double and even triple-stack the build-up proc.
I'm looking forward to bots/traps hitting 50 so I can see for myself...
