  1. Lore bible's no use if it's not reinforced/made mandatory. I'm with Sam, in that if this so-called "lore bible" exists at all, it's never actually consulted. Nothing should make it past the napkin idea stage without it being checked against any official source of game lore, and we all know that doesn't happen here.
  2. Pylons do nothing. As long as you don't get between the greens and ol' Hami, you won't catch aggro, barring someone mistargeting after a mito drops and pumping a round into Hami.
  3. One of Emmert's pipe dreams.

Amen. No amount of +recharge is gonna mitigate that alpha, and nothing should live long enough for you to have to burn them twice
  5. Here's a guide. TL;DR: don't fret the swords because they will respawn when all wiped, blue patch shows up eight seconds before the deathsword drops, look over the edge of the building when returning from hosp to see if the door is covered with deathpatch, don't give up.

How so? Seems fine to me.
  7. My fire armor characters are squishy and tiresome until they get 8 points of -KB and around 30% S/L defense, then it's smooth sailing and maximum burnination.

    Super Strength

You really, really don't want the devs to even glance in the direction of SS.
  9. Triage Beacon doesn't buff recovery, only regeneration. I think that's what you meant, though. Regeneration increases with HP levels, meaning a higher regneration rate grants more HP per tick of healing. I can't go into it right now (posting from work) but your understanding of how regeneration buffs interact appears incorrect. View your own combat stats or that of your bots to see how the triage beacon increases their regeneration.

edit: to actually answer your question, yes, triage beacon works on your bots, in that it increases their regen.
  10. I'd skip it and not feel bad in the slightest. Thinking of doing the same on my inv/dm tanker, because she just never has any problems with end. Willpower should never need dark comsumption, and as you say, a three minute timer on an AoE is an AoE you don't need.
  11. Five stars for fun people, one star for whiners, broadcast racists, complainers, and the other garbage of MMOdom. No need to use the middle ratings.
  12. I tell every team I join with my fire/dark ruptor, "you want to be healed, better hump Fluffy's leg, 'cause I got better things to do." Hasn't let me down yet.

Do it all the time without any holds at all, or whatever people happen to have in their epics or whatnot. I guess holds make it easier but it sure isn't hard without them.
  14. I support this initiative of Sam's wholeheartedly, even considering how lousy the She-Hulk art in the OP is More options trumps fewer, genre considerations or no, and I personally would like most of my female characters to look a little more.. substantial.
  15. Haven't seen or heard of this happening ingame, and I am sure it doesn't happen with any regularity.

    Annoying Players

*makes notes for next pug TF*
  18. I'm running the 10.12s myself and not seeing that. Have you tried going back arevision or two and seeing what happens? Also, perhaps check your temps when ingame (unlikely to be the issue though methinks).
  19. My scrappers aren't "idle for stretches at a time" in the ATF,and neither was the one brute that I have taken through the ATF. You do what you gotta, hit and fade, see if something is bothering a less resilient teammate, let the ranged attackers do the heavy lifting for once. She's just an AV, not hopped up on goofballs like Reichs or anything, and not hyperbuffed by ultravengeance like in the TMTF.

You wanna talk irritating, my MMs don't enjoy that TF too much But it's still doable, just lean on my secondary a lot more.

I think you've hit on a critical piece of the puzzle that some of the doomsayers are missing here. This encounter changes what it means to be a good tanker, and that is hurting some butts.

That didn't last long, considering how often I see Venture at the heroside market.
  22. I think when using Broadsword you are legally required to say cloven in twain, or possibly rent asunder.
  23. I have a hard time making blast characters that aren't Assault Rifle. I also have a hard time making melee characters that aren't Dark Melee.
  24. My god Heraclea, the entire BM fight gimmick is "here's some blue stuff, don't be here in 8 seconds." It's not some horribly subtle thing that has to be timed, nor is it something that if one player misses it, everyone wipes and the whole show is over. It's trivial to avoid and doesn't result in melee characters being useless.

The encounter is still easy and simple! The far harder part of it it trying to get people to understand that there are unlimited numbers of swords waiting in the wings to replace the ones that they kill, so don't kill all the swords. Literally the only change in the boss fight itself is that you must, at some intervals, move your character. That's it. It doesn't require split-second timing or everyone to coordinate a specific action. You just have to move around a little bit. Now, I admit that this goes against what melee have to deal with pretty much the entire game, but there it is. The world just got a tiny bit bigger, and there is something that requires the tiniest bit of change in your playstyle if you want to experience it. If that's too much to ask, then don't run the encounter I guess, but don't act like the sky is falling because the devs expect us to deal with new challenges to go along with our new levels of power.
  25. Mitos in order, holds make greens trivial, have someone with an EoE taunt Hami from one side and everyone else beat his *** from the opposite side. The end.
