I interpreted it wrongly at first too. I assume account meant one per account, and character meant one per character. Instead it's the reverse: the Account items can be granted to every character, and the Character items are only once per account.

Quote:I'll do that as soon as I can log in again. Damn this gainful employment! There should have been some significant price changes...maybe not to the *specific* items you were looking at, however check items such as some of the costume pieces and the Enhancement Boosters.
Are there plans to continue monitoring prices? I'm rather surprised that costume parts were reduced, as they seemed OK to me. Enhancement Boosters were definitely in need of a reduction, so that's a good thing. -
It appears that the Market has gone live with the same prices as it had in Beta, although I have only had five minutes to look.. Has anyone noticed any prices being changed (lowered)? There were quite a number of items that were ridiculously overpriced in Beta, like the dual/team insps and the windfall/XP boost consumables.
Not trying to start a complaint thread, but I do think that feedback is important. I want to give you my dollars, but I don't want to feel like a mark or a sucker by paying outlandish prices for things that last two minutes to an hour. Other stuff, like powersets and costume bits, seem right on the money. -
Oohhh forgot about Rocketboard, that's an immediate must buy for me too.

Time manip is free to subscribers, JetBoy. Enjoy!
I'll be buying storage and character slots, as well as taking advantage of the sale on transfers. Gotta get them retirees off Virtue and make room for the new blood! -
Exalted is just another place to move retired characters from Virtue

I just donated them twenty bucks as a thank-you for their hard work. I think everyone should donate them a couple bucks at least.

I'm surprised more people don't see this for what it is.
The studio knows that there are a group of players who want to get a number of tokens right away, and would be willing to do whatever it takes to get them.Without the ability to get lump-sum reward token awards from multimonth subscriptions, that player group is forced to buy points to get the tokens. This "technical limitation" is a good thing for Paragon Studios.
This is an effective way to shift emphasis to the cash store to get tokens. Doesn't bother me any, as I intend to buy a couple hundred bucks worth of points the second they let me, but let's not pretend that this is something it isn't. It might actually be a bug or a technical limitation, but it's one that has happy side effects for Paragon Studios and as such it won't be fixed anytime soon. Besides, there are still really good reasons to buy multimonth subscriptions. As long as I am playing, I'll be paying annually. -
Be interesting to see if it still engages on +0/x8 or other difficulty settings. Probably could have seen this coming.
-
Oh now this is some ********.
edit: Is this actually going to only engage from real exploits or will fire farmers mysteriously find themselves running afoul of this reward choke? -
Many channels are communities in and of themselves, and so their members won't be leaving to use the LFG channel. The channels serve purposes beyond recruitment, although recruitment does occur.

I ******* love the Dresden Files novels. I wish you the best in your SG's future.

So Arbiter Hawk, if our KB is designed to keep us from being sought after for team play, it's a gigantic success. Quote:Fixed it for you.
Kind of ironic that an entire AT which is designed around the notion of "team play" is purposefully designed to deliver MAXIMUM AGGRAVATION to Team Players. It's almost as if the design intent *is* to be Self Defeating.

Quote:Interesting idea, but I see some real issues with it. In your hypothetical scenario (IOs degrading to SO level) how would frankenslotting be handled? What would a acc/dam/end IO turn into? Some IO combos can cram the equivalent of eight or nine SOs into a power. Separating those enhancements out to reduce them to SOs would be a challenge. In addition, non-set IOs would be affected on a sliding scale, because level 50 IOs are of a higher value than level 30 IOs. Finally, non-set IOs under 30 would actually be upgraded if converted to SO levels. My main concern is that the first experience of a returning premium character with an IOed character (who isn't of a level to get use of the Invention Experience) is having to replace all those IOs. If IOs degraded to SO levels, the first experience can be "diving back into the fight".
Personally, I think the invention lockout for premium players is a good place to differentiate between premiums and VIPs, and it's not as if the license is that expensive. -

Good guide but I am still not rollin' no empath! (because I love myself too much)
-
Having played the **** out of both sets all over the AT range, rad is better for soloing and cold is better at the top end on teams. Both are awesome and if you didn't solo I would say flip a coin, but because you mostly solo I say go rad.

I look forward to giving you all my dollars.

Requiescat in pace, level pacts. I am under no illusions that they will ever return. Sucks for me, because I use them regular.

I tried to roll an emp last night but there was no Silasguide for it so I deleted it, thanks Silas!
