You did, however, hold yourself up as personally victimized by the unfortunate juxtaposition of much-needed maintenance and your work schedule, which earned you one point. You received one point for the near-mandatory dubious claim that when you worked in the industry this sort of thing Just Wasn't Done. Finally, you received one point for your liberal use of caps. I also awarded you one bonus point (total) for for admitting to having problems with emotion regulation ("rage issues"), and for your ridiculous fast food analogy that wouldn't even make sense after abusing inhalants.

Suggestions for Future Rants

• Ensure that your title matches the content of your rant. When presented with this rant for scoring, I expected to read a variation on "the game is dying" or "devs want all our dollars to buy dalmatian puppies to skin alive and wear as frock coats". Needless to say, I was disappointed.
• Consider demanding some compensation from the devs, either free subscription time, or perhaps some poorly-calculated cash value. Something along the lines of "I can only play for five hours a month, and there was ten hours of maintenance, so they should pay me thirty dollars because they ate two months of my playtime!" would serve well here.
• Try to find a way to insult those who don't agree with you. Suggestions include calling those with a more reasonable or balanced point of view "fanbois" or "brown nosers", or perhaps claiming that they have no lives.

Me neither. It's confusing and dumb. A better system would have had the most common roles of a given AT listed before or after the AT description.

Might as well toss the whole thing out the window then because people hate and fear change.

This really seems to be the bit that people don't understand. Some stuff is gonna stay behind the VIP subscription, no matter what, otherwise nobody would subscribe. If Incarnate doodads are that important, pay up.

Never have a problem filling a red team to my satisfaction. Are you using global channels and the like? Are you forming your own teams?

Do you really think they sold only 2000 of those packs? Ha ha ha. No. If they only sold 2000 of them, then they would never have made another.

You have got some serious blinders on, buddy. I know how it is; the idea that your group (whatever it may be) is the real, true supporters and what is good for them is good for the game... it's very appealing. It's also wrong. Base builders are no more the "most loyal" subscribers than marketeers, PVPers, or RPers.

Do you really believe that people don't develop attachments to their characters, as strong and stronger than your attachment to a base? You're as crazy as you seem to be if that's your honest belief.
Bases are not interesting to a large number of people, either.

Look. You really enjoy bases and they seem to be the best part of the game for you. You gotta understand that base building isn't the core game and won't ever get the kind of attention that other parts get. I wish the tools were better. I really do. I don't expect them to ever be made better, because once you step outside the circle of dedicated base builders, you realize that many (most?) players just don't care that much about bases. They are not going to bat an eyelash if their SG base is a perfunctory, ugly mess that has a couple rooms full of porters and some insp storage. They just don't value it enough to put forth the effort, so they are happy with function over form. That doesn't mean they are bad people or somehow less loyal than you are. It just means they enjoy and value different aspects of the game.

I envision a world where people read patch notes and take deep breaths before posting nerdrage-filled rants on forums. This is not that world.
