  1. definitely needed more holds, we had what, 3 controllers and a dom or two? If that?

This also means elec or ice blasters would be helpful since they can blast and hold more than other sets (preferably ice, though... lolelec).

As has been said... we just needed moar bodies for the miscellaneous team.
  2. aight :] I'll have this 2-3 page paper ready in a bit
  3. mark, are we assuming travel suppression and heal decay are turned off in the 2 given scenarios?
  4. you will definitely not need body mastery. Most of the crowd is going with soul mastery for Shmeld to have another mog-ish clickie added to their arsenal.
I personally went with mako for water spout, mainly because I didn't like how my builds were looking with shmeld.

    Goals:

1: at the very least, 55% recharge for perma dp (with hasten)
Preferably more so you can have your clickies up more, and utilize the higher-DPS attack chains (those not involving DA). I believe the highest attack chain requires that GD has 212%(ish?) recharge, so that's a goal to keep in mind.

2: Enough melee defense that 1 DA application will get you to 45ish. If you're fighting against -def, you can easily double (or triple) stack it to help with the debuffs (since you have pretty much 0 DDR)

3: Some range/AoE defense, I used to have 20ish to both, but ended up losing some from i19. Definitely not a priority, but still worth having.

4: Alpha slot: spiritual radial boost. Regen loves it.

This is how my build turned out. If you want to go with the Shmeld route instead, I'll let one of the others who did that take care of it :]

  5. "the rads* = me :[

Luckily I had already come to the same conclusion, +range = hell yeah!
  6. no practice. just the hami raid and a citadel.
Practice tomorrow if we can, I'll see if I can get off work a tad early to get back asap.
  7. My link in my sig. Leangro made a ghetto fix that throws fitness into your inherit tray a while back. We've been using it for a while.

When the official mids update comes out, we should be able to just override it, but most of the builds more than likely won't save/load correctly, so it'd probably be best to copy mids, overwrite with leandro's patch, and then update the old one with the new patch we don't have yet. Then redo builds.

Or just wait until the patch. That seems like a good idea, too.
  8. necro is a ninja/dark... I think?

Also, word on the street is that the AVs have some super tohit or something. So moar +defense would likely be preferable.
    Just sayin <3 glhf
  9. Sunday practice agenda: (Also applicable to Saturday)

Run at least three matches to familiarize ourselves with the maps for the match, Atlas, Skyway, and Graveyard.

If we have enough people to allow it, I'll manipulate the team setups to have different styles of teaming to let everyone get a feel for how the rolls compliment each other in various settings.

As always, practicing getting two to three 1-2 second locks on a target. The quicker and cleaner the spike, the better. Also, knowing *when* to spike.

Switching Targets rapidly, either from a hybern00b, to a sandboxed target, or to a healer who recently AB'd. Being able to flop on the fly will make a nice difference. It's also hard for some on the other team to follow.

And lastly, the usual, practicing evading. If they're locked on you, and you see them training on you, get that evade going. Let us know in vent (in third person, so we get a name, not just a voice). So we can help you. You aren't automatically dead if you're being targeted. Maneuvering over your opponent works very well (especially in graveyard).
    ~~

It looks like I'm the only one that's not done building yet, I'll have to grab some SOs or something to fill in the holes until I get the rest of those freakin IOs. I'll try to have at least one more accolade by Sunday <.< Not sure if it'll happen, though.

Anywho, see you guys Sunday at least, Saturday as well would be preferable, whether I'm present or not.

    PvP R SRS BSNS!
  10. where? CoH Titans doesn't have it :[
  11. If my schedule allows, I'll be at as many of these as possible. Just to get more familiar with the Hami Raid that we have been neglecting for so long.

Regular Saturday Hami runs, to go with Regular Sunday Ship Runs? Then maybe Regular Friday CoP Runs?

Yes. I think I would like that.
  12. Need to run Synapse for the gears for FP, then I think Posi and Citadel for TFC. As well as Dimensional Warder for PoJo :[ I haven't been working on accolades too much, a thousand other things to do.

Not worried about the slot for now, since we shouldn't be slotting anything in it yet, anyway. I do, however, need to go redside for shraks - a task I won't get done by Sunday. Psy mastery will have to do for now. bleh I just want this semester to be over.
  13. Status update on finished builds/accolades? I've been busy with a metric crapton of real life issues, as well as other ingame things (i19, duh). So PvP has been pushed to the back of the list. I doubt I'll have mine done by Sunday, but I might be able to make at least *some* progress on it for that match.

How are you all doing so far?
  14. It may have a good reason plot-wise (I do occasionally read what's going on) but that doesn't make it any less boring and nearly devoid of a reward, especially compared to all the others TFs. I don't have a potential fix in mind, I just think it's silly design.
  15. Or... um.. Numina? For the same reasons? :/

I see what you mean, and I can agree to that. I always have mids up so I can always check whenever I need, but I would definitely get behind that being added.
  17. Shards -> Components -> Boosts -> (specific boost) Spiritual Radial Boost, etc.
That's what I'll be using, anyway.

After yesterday, unlocked 2 alpha slots, and got 1 shard shy of the Spiritual Radial Boost for Ele. Voo, the enhancement value given by the boost does show up in your enhancements window. I have BU 2 slotted with recharges (should be about 83%). BU is sitting on 102.3%. Seeing what the boost does is given to you in the window, just like added SOs.

The rest of the week will be dominated by schoolwork and workwork. Not happy about this >:[
  18. I soloed the arc without any problems :/

I blame water spout. It's just that awesome.
  19. I'm one freakin shard from having my Spiritual Radial Boost on my namesake.
Getting that, and running at least one of the two new TFs is on the agenda for tomorrow.

As well as physics and anthropology homework... Stupid school >:[

    Question...

Fly. It negates almost all of his attacks. With that, almost any of them could, as long as they can withstand the damage and endurance drain from his [channelgun].
I believe he only has 2 attacks that are ranged, the energy wave thing (the cone) and channelgun (ranged ST).

~And then I realize Paladin just said basically the same thing.
    doh!
