  1. Ummm... I was sure this was a joke, just like most people around here...
    But when I logged in earlier... it seems like the code for this somehow leaked out onto live.

    Maybe it's just part of the joke... dunno...
    Still sound on live, but tons of bubbles now.

    I think I might quit and wait for the Pre-VS-CoH emulator. Although, they're not even including Villains, they hate them so much there too...

  2. There's no way I can truly say I'm disappointed in the information, as I think any power proliferation is awesome (Yes, yes, tweaking things based on AT for balance, OF COURSE).
    I too hope that more and more of this is done during the next Issues.

    I was definitely hoping for something different for Scrappers and Tankers, but whatever... hopefully they'll continue to cross things over.

    An Energy Melee Scrapper (Or super strength) just seemed like a great choice and I 'd have preferred an Elec/Elec Tank.
    Hey, I'm sure there are some people immensely happy with each choice that some others are not-so-crazy about.

    I think the info probably should have just been given earlier. All this build-up usually just gets people's expectations too high, but that matters not... Huzzah to Power Proliferation!!

  3. Right, I think one thing people need to keep in mind is that some of these missions are about teaching and showing new players new things.
    I know, as longtime players now playing alts, that these things are just bothersome, but it's not really so bad.
    I don't mean this to sound condescending at all (As I include myself in this), but perhaps sometimes we need to remember what this game (And the mmorpg genre) is all about and remember that the running back and forth, the being forcibly sent to distant and different zones AND the grim reality of having to go through hazardous areas while so under-prepared and under-powered are all aspects of learning.

    These things that we've all "complained" about are also some of the things that helped to develop the foundation of the heroes that we have all become.

    Hehe, anyway... all that being said, I'm looking forward to checking out the new Hollows and seeing how it all plays out.

    It sounds like WW is doing enough to make it more fun, but not too much to make it a lesser experience.

    Top Issues 8.10

    I'm assuming that the "Drop-Mission" feature would just simply allow you to drop a mission and then get it again from the same contact (If you wish) or never again ask that contact for that blasted mission (If that's how you feel).

    I don't think it is supposed to be a tool to advance past a certain mission, I think it is just for those that either have a bugged mission (And will need to retake the mission again and complete it unbugged) or to just simply drop a mission that the player has zero interest in ever doing.

    Now... I am only assuming this and I could be wrong...


    Oh... and I'm reluctant to add a request or question here, but I feel I must...
    How about Shared Mission Completions for Hero Team Members?
    I would certainly love to see that as a prime focus, although I understand that this may have already been a stated goal that is in the works (I truly hope so).
    Anyway, I still am very new here, so offer me a little leeway...
    Shared Missions and the fact that the Mission Music is tied to the Sound Effects Slider are two big issues for this new player...
