    "Are you a god?"

I'm thinking my Fire/Fire Scrapper might be an incarnate of OMGWTFBBQ.

    Maybe.
  3. You just had to search for all threads started by Leandro, and here it is.
  4. My first costume slot is always what the character has managed to make on their own, so its usually some variation of normal clothing (except for the couple of power suit tech characters I have). Its not until their second costume that they go for some "professional" help, that's when they get their first real super suit.
Back to capes, its a choice the character makes. A couple characters were so stoked to be heroes that they started at level one with homemade capes, some characters even made it to fifty without ever making a super suit (so no cape). For me it depends on the personality of the character but I'd say less than half my characters have capes on at least one costume slot.

    Sound FX

It would be nice if they did, but in the meantime if there is a particular SFX you want to be rid of, you can look here.
  6. 1) I had three regular tips and the Halloween tip at the same time.

    2) I also saw a huge hit to FPS in the room mentioned by Goliath Bird Eater (who I still think of as Smashmouth). Went from 50 FPS to 10 FPS.

    3) Upon completing the Halloween Tip Mission I received 3 Vanguard Merits, I do have the Vanguard Day Job.
  7. If you log into your NCSoft account, then click on your CoH account, you'll see a link to download the CoH_NA_Setup.exe, its 10.9 MB. Does that help?

Edit: Checking the Wiki I see that the ftp site is ftp://client.coh.com/US/

    Ya Paragon Wiki!

    Quote:
I died. I remember dying, it wasn't pretty.
THEY decided to bring me back because THEY weren't finished yet *shudder* but this 'thing' on my shoulder gave me a choice.
Let THEM bring me back and . . . do . . . what THEY want, or come back and be able to do something TO THEM? All I had to do was let 'it' come along with me back to the living world.
I killed THEM with the sword that that was on the 'alter' with me, then I stiched up the tears and holes in my body, . . . my dead body . . ., and here I am *whispers* almost.

Smote the Iron, a Fire Armor/Mace Tank

    Quote:
Jackie Quinn was the star batter of the Thomas Jefferson H.S. Girls Varsity Baseball team. "I'm a big hit in a small package!" Jackie would always say when someone commented on her size, "It's not how much mass you have, it's how well you use it that makes a great batter."

Jackie's mom, Cheryl Quinn, worked in the local museum. It was the day that she was cataloging a crate of artifacts that had been in storage for decades when life threw the Quinn family a curve ball. Cheryl was translating the writings on a strange pair of iridescent blue bracers, "... smite with the iron and burn with the pure flames those that offend the gods."

"Hi Mom. Wow those are weird bracelets, let me try those on." Jackie said when she walked into her mother's office.
"Sorry dear, these 'bracelets' are thousands of years old. They're not costume jewlery."
Teen girl, interesting jewelry, forbidden to wear them. Hmmm... what do you think happened? Jackie distracted her mother and slipped on those bracers.

Thus arose the hero Smote the Iron and criminals are learning to tremble in fear when they hear her battle cry "Batter Up!" because they know they are going down.
  11. I just wanted to say that is a very nicely designed poster, it looks great!

  13. Check your mouse settings, its under control panel, see if ClickLock is turned on. If it is, turn it off.
  14. Delete the specific pigg file that you got the message about, then when you run the updater it will download the missing file.
You might want to also check that hard drive for errors.
  15. The song was good but the video made me dizzy with that spinning sequence.
  16. Clutch, I'm thinking that it might be better to switch the IOs in Fireball and Rain of Fire. Fireball slotted with Ragnarok set, all but Dam/Recharge, and Rain of Fire slotted with Positron's Blast set, all but Acc/Dam/End. You could spam Fireball every 5 seconds to get that knockdown and you get slightly better damage with Rain of Fire and Fireball also.

Also in Blaze slot all of Apocalypse except Dam/Recharge, the proc adds a good amount of damage and you were way over ED on Dam with your slotting.

I do like your build and I'm stealing some ideas from it for my Fire/Dark/Dark Corrupter.

Also, let me ask a question. I was toying with the idea of slotting my ST attacks with a mix of Thunderstrikes and Devastations , specifically Thunderstrike Acc/Dam, Acc/Dam/Rch, Dam/End/Rch and Devastation Dam/End, Dam/Rch, and Chance for Mag 2 Hold proc. That gives me Acc 60%, Dam 95%, End 18%, Rch 77% and bonuses of 2% End Rec, 2.5% Def (Eng,Neg) 1.25% Def (Ranged), 12% Reg and 2.25% Max HP. What do you think of that slotting?

If you have ever had a pet in a mission that does any healing you get credit towards the healing badge. Have you ever heard of Heal farms?
  18. The Return of Captain Invincible, its 96 minutes and has Alan Arkin and Christopher Lee in it. Just watch it and see what you think.
  19. Shadow, I did enjoy the review and I'd be very interested in a follow up to it.

The types of things I'd like to see in a follow up, if you made one, are:
After several hours of playing are you getting hand fatigue from the smaller size and the button placement?
How quickly did it take you to get used to the button placement?
Does it still feel good after a couple of weeks?

If you could come back in few weeks with answers to those questions I'd really appreciate it.

  22. I ran across this also; I logged out completely, then restarted the client, that was the only way I could get my mission to reset.
  23. I just started a fire/dark corrupter and I'm having a blast with it. I went with a fire and smoke theme when I colored the powers. Unfortunately, there are no post-IO guides for it, but here's AG's 2006 guide.
  24. I would love it if they had Michael Berryman in it as a hero type. I've met him at horror/scifi conventions and he is a very nice person, since then I've always wanted to see him play a hero.
