Bunnies. Puppies grow up to be dogs, and start out slobbering messes to begin with.

I'm kind of on the side of "Tankers are fine", if I really think about it. My only blueside 50 is a Tanker, and she feels very super. She never faceplants (okay, maybe once when I wasn't watching and dropping 5 Carnies caused her Toggles to fall), she solos just fine, and just about the only thing I can't do is solo an AV - EBs aren't a problem, and the AV problem is simply that neither she nor the AV can damage the other enough to overcome regeneration. Since soloing AVs is pretty much elite++ gameplay and I haven't even tried IOing her out to increase DPS to give it another try, she feels quite adequate.
So Tankers overall feel pretty good to me. That said, she's WP/SS, which are two of the powerhouse sets, so it's entirely possible many (or even most) of the other Tanker sets do need some improvement, but that's an issue of power sets, not the AT. -
Quote:Hi Captain Gleam!Morning all, my guild's all but convinced to look at CO now x_x I'm conflicted.
I honestly have no idea what people see in CO. Thus far I haven't seen a single feature that makes me cry out for switching. CoX already has all the good parts. -
Fourth is bad enough, but a drunk Fourth? We're all doomed!
-
I think I'm failing. My main villain doesn't prompt any drinks, and since you left off bunnies, neither does my main hero.
Now alts are another matter. -
When I thought of Power Customisation, I never ever considered being able to modify each individual power - just the whole set together at once. Finally being given this option, and then being given more than I could ever have expected along with it, is a great thing. It is things like this that convince me that CoX will long be the only MMO in its class.

A humble suggestion for Johnny: Advocate to lower the S/L resists of high-end enemies, rather than boosting Tanker damage in general. It is these high resistances that truly hurt the ideal you're looking for and not the overall damage of Tankers. And honestly, I don't think the damage of S/L sets is so much higher than that of other damage type sets to justify the discrepency.

One small problem with your post, TopDoc: The game isn't supposed to be balanced around IOs. If it is, then the devs need to stop telling us it isn't.

Assuming that said lowbie isn't biting off more then they can chew, isn't a large part of that due to accuracy and damage (not having enough of either to kill the mob before it kills you)?
[/ QUOTE ]
In the particular case that brought this to mind, it was a low-level Warshade up against a +1 minion/lt pair (CoT, and I was on Heroic, the mission just decided +1 sounded fun). Had to retreat several times to win. Either a faster Rest (enabling better retreat-and-rest tactics) or better enhancements likely would have been the tipping point to correct this.
And before you ask, there wasn't a Void Hunter involved in this particular issue. -

Okay...I have a Regen and a WP and both don't "need" stamina. I use certain IO's to help with that. Never ran into a problem so far. The difference, I don't use stam as a crutch.

"I don't have a problem with it, you're just doing it wrong" is a really bad argument when "wrong" is synonymous with "intuitive".
On a point for non-tanks, my recent experience with some of my lowbie alts with this issue on my mind has shown me that for a lot of my non-tank low levels, health is the bigger bottleneck than endurance (they simply don't have the mitigation to survive a fight long enough to use up their endurance), which might be why non-tanks don't notice the issue as much. Once these characters hit their teens and start getting some of their more staple attacks, this changes, and the 12-20 game become endurance again. -
My WP Tanker isn't particularly regen focused and regens 45hp/sec with no enemies at 50.

Spreading out the support is fine, but don't mislabel Traps. You won't get your support spread out if you lead people to believe Traps is not a Buff/DeBuff set. You'll just end up with TAs, Poisons and Darks, which overlap Traps a lot, instead of the Pain Dom, FF, or Thermal you'd probably prefer.

/Traps is a great set, but not much for Buff/DeBuff.
[/ QUOTE ]
What?
/Traps has a regen aura, an area slow, an area hold/regen debuff, a team defence/status protection buff, a single-target immobilise/recharge debuff, a dual-target (or double-stacking) to-hit and damage debuff and a fire-and-forget defence/resistance debuff.
Traps is pretty much entirely Buff/DeBuff, except for its Tier 8 and 9 (which are both huge damage).
It is also completely awesome. Traps is as good as Rad for taking down an AV. -
The difference between Goths and Emos is that both think the world sucks, but Goths laugh at that fact while Emos cry over it.
-
Freem is Freedom without the "do", because Stephan Colbert does it for us.
It was also the joke sound effect used when they posted the April Fool's visual sound effects announcement. -
As someone who plays a Goth supervillain (she's perky Goth, though), that rant is a little offensive. Heroes and villains can come in Goth. Heck, Batman's probably the poster child for Goth Hero.

grats on the 50 Eikochan

Thanks. She's my second. Now I have one on each side.
Warshades are kinda fun, though I'm not sure I like the forms and might end up just going human. -

I wonder..should I change mah name? o.o; Commander Amazing? o.o;

You should go with Captain Gleam, of course!
I like the new SS animations (and the MA ones, I can finally try to play a boy MA scrapper), though I don't think I'll be using the new Fist Stomp animation. My Tanker (who just hit 50 on Friday) is female and got her powers through a bad ex-boyfriend, so stomping the ground with fury is just too good to give up.
Still haven't beaten Reichsman. I blame the Count for not showing up to help us last night. -
Anathema is an awesome word, and should be used as often as possible.
Henceforth, I shall refer to all uses of colloquial language as anathema. -

How many builds have you seen (in game) without Stamina? More to the point, how many competent builds in game have you seen without it?
-
Honestly, the fact that everyone takes Stamina, and almost everyone takes it by 20, indicates a problem with the endurance use of the game overall. If it wasn't a problem, there wouldn't be a "must have" Pool. But there is.
Clearly something is wrong. -
Hi Fedor. Love the new Avvie (I know it's not really new, but it's new to me.)
