My Widow is the Destined One. She killed Statesman and her war with Recluse over the leadership of Arachnos thrust the world into ruin. When her younger self was exploring this future domain through Arachnos's portal technology, she fled the ruin of her future to her past, to make another attempt at taking over Arachnos from the inside, hopefully this time without the "thrusting the world into ruin" part.
I'm not sure what your definition of Epic is, but that fits mine. -

Well, you can't re-taunt from inside the PFF, and Provoke (the pool taunt a Tankermind should take) doesn't last very long, so that strategy probably won't work too well. And that's assuming that PFF doesn't drop your threat immediately, which it might. I don't have any /FFs, so I don't know.

Honestly, Pain and Empathy belong where they are. CoH is a much more cooperative, team-oriented game than CoV, and thus Empathy's emphasis on team buffs belongs over in CoH, while Pain's buffs affect the caster as well as the team, supporting the sort of team-solo play that is what makes CoV different. Empathy's buffs, as good as they are, simply don't really fit the way the ATs interact in CoV, while Pain's do.

"Soft-capped" refers to getting your defenses - usually positional (Melee, Ranged, AoE), but with some sets you shoot for damage type defenses - to 45%, the effective cap for defense (as to-hit cannot drop below 5% and mob base to-hit is 50%).
Some other folks have done a lot of number crunching to prove why this is such a big deal (for instance, 40% is good. 45% is twice as good), but the basics you need to know is that before you tackle really weird things like soloing AVs, you'll want to hit that softcap first. -
If Infernal has taught us anything, it's that demon-summoning is a perfectly respectable hero past-time.

You might try Freedom. I hear (though I don't play over there, so I don't know) that PvP is livelier over there.

Leymah Gbowee and the women of Liberia beg to differ.

The thing I'm looking the most forward to in GR is having real Tanks redside. No more do we have to argue about whether the Brute or the MasterMind is the Tank and takes alpha! Now we can just make that turncoat hero do it.
Serves them right, dirty heroes. -
What amuses me the most, Sorah, is that your eyes haven't changed a bit. They just fit better now.

First, I wish this debate would end, since everyone was debating me and I gave it up a month ago.
Secondly, I also wish people would stop using "sense of entitlement" without knowing what it means. Both sides have a sense of entitlement - new players have a sense of entitlement to all rewards, and Veterans have a sense of entitlement to new, continued rewards.
People's sense of entitlement may in fact be amazing, but it's a knife that cuts both ways. -

What's your secondary? Thanks to Gauntlet, my WP/SS holds aggro pretty well if I fire off a Foot Stomp when anything isn't looking at me, and most of the other secondaries get AoEs before 38, don't they?
But I do make liberal use of Taunt, and have two taunt IOs in RttC. -

Well yes, /Dark MMs can have perma Fluffy with slotting. But the other ATs get a better slotted Fluffy or slots elsewhere, so it's a pretty fair balance.
