Depending on your enermy, you will have to pick an appripriate secondry, other than /WP which will handle anything.

SS/WP SS/FIRE SS/ELEC SS/SHIELD DM/SHIELD DM/SR are all very tasty

I'd be tempted to agree Donna_ but with PVP being alittle unbalanced some of us need a little help, not to the extent of heavies, but Insps an accolades are a big help at times.

But i'll give a very brief run so you know roughly where to start.

Scrappers and tanks are melee toons (close combat) tankers can take alotta damage (high hitpiints like over 2300) but dont give out much, where as scrappers do high damage but cant take as much due to low hit points (around 1600 i think)

Controllers, can slow, stun, hold, sleep with there primary, an there secondry is team buffs, to give more damage/regen/debuffs etc etc.

Blasters are ranged damage dealers but cant take much damage

And lastly defenders, who do weak primary ranged damage an have high buff powers healing, speed boosts etc etc like a controllers secondry but stronger.

Bah but seriously there's so many decent players i know of i'd hate to miss someone out, an i know players that havn't got a mention but i show my support in-game

i disagree on that Razor, the difference matters MA farming is game breaking, Real time farming (as i assume its called by furys post) doesn't kill the game.

Let me break it down,
MA farming is mainly for tickets an XP, thankfully the tickets don't majorly effect the economy as of now, but everyone having 50s in under a day of game play is bad, it stops players having to leave Cap or Atlas an gives players every toon they could want too easily. plus the inf gained is excessive not major but excessive.

real time farming is hard to PL fast you need an amazing team not so easily excessable to the average joe bloggs unlike MA in which an team with any toons can farm effectively.

Real time farming cant be done by everyone you need specifics to PL properly to get anywhere near as fast as MA PL.

Farming on a global scale like current situations is bad very bad, in it's minority it's expectable an all players reap the rewards.

MA farming needs to be cut, half XP i say!

BTW in my posts i must sound pro farming when infact I'm not. i just understand that real time farming offers me benefits, as opposed to MA farming just screwing things up

i don't support MA farming, as it offers no advantages other than to power level. but real time farming like Fury and Razor speak of in there posts which speak the truth an i agree with offers in the minority aloft of pros, all the fire/kins in PI are bringing in more goods for the increasing demand an thus the prices drop.

You guys know it's right.

Without farmers rare items would be in short supply an at sky high prices.

MA farming isn't for items though everyone is using it to PL an any items are a bonus to the players
if everyone farmed normal missions it would screw it up but in the minority it keeps prices retrospectively active.

but normal farming in PI etc helps us all with more purples an other rare items an the devs know this.

i hope posi halfs the XP or somthing in MA as there has to be a negative to MA or theres no point with normal missions.

AN at the end of the day the devs cocked up, but you cant change the past. an they are implementing a fix now better late than never. you say its too late but you complain when they make changes without thought an u complain when they take there time.

devs are always enermies in MMO they have a tough job keeping so many different groups happy.

if you thinks the devs are failing you go try CO or DCO but when they dont forfill what the media has hyped them to be. dont come crying back....

also stop asuming the games dieing its not, an your not helping it by crisistising it. you say your a beta tester 52monther yet you claim the game aint proforming controdiction or what.....

Oh an BTW i agree with your thoughts in the other thread, you have your head screwed on ,unlike some of these noddies always moaning.

Farming in an MMO is needed, to sustain rare items/recipes etc, but MA is just excessive, it's only advantage it offers is XP so cut the XP an jobs a good un.

Farming in CoX is excessive it needs to stop, it's to global, instead of only a small scale set of hardcore farmers (we all know some) farming at night keeping themselves to themselves, everyone is wanting to farm new or old players, an it's not good.

As i said hardcore small scale farmers who get us our rare items help keep rare salvage/recipes availible, without them be sky high prices.

Cut XP in half in MA an watch regular teams/missions becoming active

No idea i did an LGTF an a few normal missions in that time as well, i didn't just stay in MA.

To be honest toons aren't going to get banned left right an center unless people really do take the biscuit. I didn't pure farm, half the missions weren't farm maps until i hit 40 an i couldn't get a team anywhere vill side unless i jumped in a team fighting Rikti.

I hope the Devs only punish people abusing people who have been warned, technically all us forum readers have been warned now, any action previous to this shouldn't be punished unless the toons we're leveling 1-50 in like 6 hours which is just stupid, i like playing my toon an enjoy getting new powers, rushing to 50 is boring.

i'll await the introduction of the planned actions, an act accordingly, i really hope they don't delete my toon.

Not going to say ill quit the game because i might not, but i won't be happy as technically i didn't purposefully exploits any rules/regs, as non were set.

Go on positron implement your proposed changes an if you do overdo it io may complain, but if its stops noobs on fire/.kins badly etc ill be happy.

My experience redside is crazy.

i leveled a new brute over 3 casual days running MA missions, once i hit 50 it took me 2 full days to slot an complete my proposed build.

Now previous to MA it took me around 2 or 3 weeks including the 380mill i had saved up, to finish a similar proposed build for an SS/WP,

So that shows just how easy money and how cheap things are due to MA.

Around Christmas time i paid 35mill for a miracle +recovery. when making my ss/wp a few months back it cost 120mill, now due to MA they are back down to 35mill.

Recipes are dirt cheap, rare salvage prices are 500,000inf, the common salvage is slowly getting cheaper but its only the made ois that are really exspensive atm,. but as money is easy to get, its no big deal.

people will stop farmi8ng MA once they have powerleveled there toons, an normal farming etc will revital the market. as the neft to ma will no doubt hit hard.


basically if you want a new toon make it now, an kit it out asap, dont horde your money spend it fast an buy the exspensive recipes like lotgs now!

lotgs are like 40mill atm xD

the market will sort itself out an i reckon inf will be worth less, as theres to much in circulation vill side.

TFs will become worth doing an purple farming will kick back in.
