I'm with wassy the fire isn't working for me. not that i have a problem with using real elements in pictures. i just don't like the way its all in a drawn line. I would have just drawn the fist as normal and chucked the fire effect on a new layer in photoshop and tried the different blending modes out to get the effect of a flaming fist.

But other then that you seem to be going pretty good the initial learning phase of the coloring process in photoshop can be a difficult one but it pays off in abundance! chicks dig a man who knows how to photoshop . Or not. I have no idea really. Either way. Its all looking good buddy just keep at it and get a deviant art account! so I can watch you :P

Electagonist by an old Favorite who may not post here at the moment, but will always be in our hearts.

Ok then. The ceiling looks to low/character look too big. She looks like she's gonna hit her head when she stands up.
The chair is way big compared to the control panel. Does she need to lean down to use it?
The shading on the metals looks plasticy, specially under the chair. And the support for the control panel looks like it needs lots more work(looks like a poly cube that's been extruded 3 times with a lambert slapped on and then lefted it there).

That still isn't constructive that's just listing flaws that you see in the picture. There is a difference between constructive criticism and being picky. The same difference that applies to being helpful and being an [censored].

the idea behind those was that sparks was looking into a mirror and seeing paranoia who had shape shifted to look like her and made a huge mess :P and causing sparks to question her sanity.

advice on this subject is tricky cause what works for some doesn't work for all. the only advice i can give is study study study. weither its flipping through a Jim lee comic or a porno mag or just looking out the window just look at everything.
