Quote:This is probably the wrong thread & Not game-related but I just want to thank whomever posted a link to the song "Nice Weather For Ducks". It turned out to be a GREAT song. I am now a fan of the band. Modern day Beatles instramental equivalent. Thanks again.
Confused by the title "Lemon Jelly" though

Quote:Thats not a bad idea really. Would get some of my solo characters interested in them. Cant really be farmed too since they dont give anywhere near enough rewards to justify farming them. Would defo get my vote!
To try to spice up Giant Monsters and zone events, I would have Recluse's lieutenants and the Freedom Phalanx respond and actually show up to do battle-- but only after a preset time limit to give people who wanted to fight and win the badge for themselves the chance to do so.
My personal thing though would be to have some kind of ingame radio [txt only obviously] which constantly gave updates on the gaming world.
Would consist of GMs/Zone events happening and players finishing taskforces/missions. For example:
"Congratz [haha to that gratz thread!] to Damz for defeating Lord Recluse in Perigine Island!"
"Noob Buster has just reached level 32! Well done to our fellow hero!"
"The villain known as 1 hit wonder has just entered our shores in Sirens Call! Longbow are calling for backup against this supervillain!"
Would be completely random of course but would make a nice QoL addition imo. -
Congrats $target! You are no longer a noob!

I dont go into pvp zones with the intention of purely pvpin. I go into them with the idea that i'll be in pve mode.
If somebody attacks me i'll automatically either try and flee or fight back. I've had some good pvp experiences when i;ve had zero intention of doing so. Most PvPers that i know will leave you be most of the time if you fight back once in a while, i know if i saw an "easy target" in the zone i'ld try and go for it. -

Congrats! Enjoy your new position

Just adding to the thanks WW
Even a "not yet" is enough for the majority of us i'ld like to think, least something is being done
That being said, question time!
- Do you like only fools and horses?
- Your favourite drink?
- Is starbucks on every street corner over there as it is over here?
Edit: A tenner says we get a lot more people posting here now that WW did

Quote:Hmm. I remember the Praetorian Clockwork that 'don't mess with you unless you mess with them'. And now we have Ghouls, for whom 'killing one of them just makes the others angrier'. Perhaps the aggro mechanics in Going Rogue have been reworked?
Good!!! Would make teaming a bit more of a challenge again! No more hiding behind the tank in safety hopefully! -

I've really wanted a VEAT as they look the only villain AT that i think i'll find interesting and want to play with long term. Got a villain character up to level 37 almost 2 years ago and hardly played him since, i just found it so boring!
Logged in yesterday on it to find out that its not as boring as i thought!
Now 2 bars away from level 40 when i know i can zoom the last 10 levels easily!
So glad i didnt delete him!

Quote:Personally I doubt the Ghouls are related to Dr. Vahzilok. If Dr. V is in Praetoria at all, he'd probably be helping the Resistance and not be involved with anything like these Ghouls. I bet that they're connect to something Tyrant and his buddies have been doing to the citizens of Praetoria.
Heroes who tried to stop him perphaps? -

Love that sometimes you can log on and say one word and then a convo starts out of complete randomness for literally hours. I think i've logged on quite a few times and spent almost an entire play session just talking on UC!
Plutonium!

Quote:I do think they're somehow affiliated with Dr. Vahzilok.
It would make sense if he was ordered to flood the underground with zombies, or was just given free reign to do whatever his "evil" (Dr. V was TECHNICALLY a good guy) mind felt like doing, in order to get to the resistance. Instead of sending people to try and sniff the Resistance out, it makes far much more sense to just flood the place with zombies to keep them occupied/dead.
But Dr V wanted peoples parts, these ghouls are actually killing/eating people.
I say that they're tyrants men. He's ruthless right? So anybody that does disagree with him gets tortured/locked up/whatever until they are weak enough to be controlled by those gadgets they have on them.
Simply release them into sections of the city with members of the resistance and let the people defeat the people without him lifting a finger. -

Support a guy who couldnt even hack it against the 5th? To me, he's just another victim
-
Really hope those screenshots of the ghouls are from new mission maps, because they do look VERY dingy
[in a cool way!]
Ahhh i only just logged off the game now you make me want to log back in!!! -
[Didnt want to post a new thread about this]
Wales sucked at this years six nations . . . . . . . if only we could play for 80 minutes instead of the last 10! -
Quote:I did say.
They wind up like that, slap some explosive collars on them so they can't attack the people with the killswitch, and throw them down the sewers to kill off any Resistance members they bump into.
If they kill a loyalist, weeeell....they obviously weren't good enough.
First thing i thought of when i saw those collars was that Arnie film from years ago. -
Pre i-14, when closed betas started, our test servers would let everybody in since we didnt have the test build until it went open.
Thats how we know pre i-14 we didnt have it
Granted things have improved lately for us, but nowhere near enough for the majority of us

Right im spending the week pvpin and kill stealing!
Necromancy busted!
