The comment being made is a reference to player characters exceeding the power levels of people like Statesman and Recluse, who have historically been the apex benchmarks in CoX.
There is already a large amount of "planet hopping" with regard to visiting multiple planets (okay multiple earths) and a few space stations in the 40-50 range arcs. And nothing currently prevents players from saying that their current SG/VG base of operations is in space or an actual space vehicle.
Many players I know already do that. -
Quote:Oh my god this thread is awesome."Hello! Would you be interested in hanging Christmas lights around Paragon City?"
Still have to agree with Ever: just doesn't feel like the season without some decorations. I'd say snow, also, but I know we have plenty of southern hemi players, too.
FWIW, they "froze" all the bodies of water in the City one year. Was neat, but everything else was still all sunshine and green grass. :/ -

Nice work, people. No change to the PlayNC pages and certainly no promotion running.

This is a patently false post. Everyone knows that level 50s struggle to afford even basic Single Origin enhancements.

It must be a great feeling, knowing that every single person on the face of the earth is wrong, except you. Even simple mathematics is wrong. Astounding!

That sounds about right. I should check my notes from back when it was all out in the open.

Quote:You're absolutely right. When a recipe is constantly and consistently selling for 10m a pop, and I score a successful lowball bid for 300k that's totally my greedy *** and not an iota of patience or caveat-emptor-preparedness.I say no caps but I wish some of these flippers would check thier greed at the door.

Thanks for the salve to my nerdrage, folks. Our only recourse is to stockpile popcorn for the reprieve, and wait for the gnashing and wailing to entertain us, for the raging heat of their nerdrage to turn our stockpiles into nutritious entertainment fodder.
Or something. For now, I have only dumpleberries for them: -
I'm with the in-laws this year. I think the menu is calling for French Toast Casserole.

Started up City of Heroes last night.
Logged in.
Chat scroll had SIX SPAMS from TWO DIFFERENT RMT mules INSTANTLY.
One of them was a new company I'd never heard of.
Did the usual tagging of "Ignore Spammer" on each then commented in Local (since it was obvious that they were still laying the spam on thick) "(Die in a fire, RMT scum!)"
Now as an actual burn survivor with some large and interesting scars (stupid itch) I'm generally not one to use such a colorful phrase. But hey, OCR and the GMs aren't doing anything about this anymore. I felt entitled to a local grouse. After all, you can't play the game without seeing them anymore.
Imagine my, well...shock, when about a dozen plus people laid into me DEFENDING the RMT people. I was told that I was worse than they were, repeatedly, for (translating from the ae monkey-farming speak) "criticizing new players."
Now I don't know if they meant "new players who violate the EULA by buying inf." or "new players the RMT spammers had no vet rewards," but it would seem that the pro-RMT camp is pretty big and the anti-RMT is the minority. Maybe the pro-RMT camp is the same as the monkey farming camp, but I'm sick and tired of my personal game time being compromised by people flagrantly violating the EULA.
And for those who will soon ask, "Why bother posting this here," it's because I'm looking for commiseration. I know nothing will happen. -
Wiped out everything in a non-88 transaction last night. I have a few hundred in seed inf. left that I'm sowing again. I've fallen so far out of the top 88rs.
But I'm back, now. -

Quote:Are you suggesting that by playing this game normally, I'm somehow enabling RMT, and thus share some kind of implicit guilt. Because if so, you are wrong.Do you really think they are farming all of that inf? Do you really think all of those purples an PvP recipes being sold for hundreds of millions of inf are being sold by players?
Most of us are contributing to RMT sites w/o even knowing it.
With that said, I have not seen spammer in a long time. They frustrate me because I am pretty sure they are the source of the horrible economy.
Also TonyV, the flaw in you're credit argument is the all mighty visa gift card. I use them for all of my online purchases personally. I tend to be a bit paranoid though. -
Quote:Lies! I looked, you're drawing again right now!Hehehe no way! I went to bed! :P It auto-replays older drawing, instead of just having the "offline" screen. (And there is an "on demand" thing, which is handy because you can skip ahead). There should be a notice to say when it is playing an older one though I think.
I'll be on there whenever I draw though(which will probably be tomorrow, I have a thingy to go to earlier today)
-
I am astounded at the amount of work that is going into this project. I stayed up late last night, watching you draw. I woke up this morning and you were still drawing. And now, six hours later, you are still drawing.

I know Atlas has a higher percentage of newer and more inexperience players in it. I'm not complaining about that.
I shouldn't have to avoid an entire zone for activities that ruin gameplay for me...that just happen to ALREADY be against the ToS/EULA and continue to be unenforced.
