I'm always interested, and try to be in the most active channels of that nature. That said, I am open to suggestions because my playtime is limited.

I never use respecs and I have them coming out of my ears on all my characters. Can I delete these things?

Your NCSoft account and City account are (and should) be different names and passwords. So, check that.
Secondly, how far are you able to get, and what do you see? IE, what is the exact error message you are getting, if any? -
Quote:Considering that pretty much anything that can be bought and sold with both regular and alignment merits can still be earned/purchased with ease in-game as it is, I fail to see how trading merits would ruin the economy. No, and for very good reasons.
One is so the RMT's won't ruin the game's economy <because they wouldn't hesitate>
If they were able to be traded, and the market for things was more restricted--I'd agree with you. But since there are about a half-dozen different ways to score a LotG, I don't think the RMT folks are interested. -

I don't recall the Atlas Park globe ever looking that way. I remember the wireframe/steel girder version, but not that Death Star version. Wow. Also, they need to cut the grass in Atlas.
When did you take that? -

Quote:Oh no, I know what you're saying--I was asking in reference to the OP.The story - as I understood it. Statesman and Honoree could be taken over at will by the well because they'd gotten their powers all at once, and the mender may have referred to it as the "fast track" or something like it.
I could be wrong, though. I've got a mind like a steel sieve. -
Quote:Sounds like you need to check and fix your support settings. Once you file a ticket you need to keep that ticket hot. Each one has something like a 24-hour timer on it. Once the timer is exhausted, it is assumed that your problem is solved. The onus is on YOU to keep things going. It is YOUR responsibility to keep after them regarding the nature of your petition. DO NOT open a NEW TICKET, just respond to the old one--even if it is just, "So, how's the fix going?" or "Find anything yet?"How come the only I only get a response from GM's is when I classify my petition as "STUCK" anything else I never here a word on it. Just ran Abandon Sewer Trial and received no reward. I also never heard a word back about enhancements missing from my Emails going back now about a month.
If a ticket HAS expired, you can often start it back up again by replying to the appropriate e-mail. When you DO reply (whether to update or to reopen a ticket), make sure you put all the appropriate information in between the two marked lines. Everything else is auto-generated and the GMs WON'T SEE IT if you put it anywhere else.
If you DO NOT want to use the e-mail support system, make sure your Knowledge Base/Support password is up to date (or generate one if necessary) and do all your reporting through the support website: http://help.ncsoft.com
Good luck. -
Is this a reference to the story, or some manner of in-game mechanic?

That WAS awful good of us, wasn't it? When we dropped the prices on costume recipes? We should increase the price of temp power recipes, those things are everywhere.

I like this idea. I'll see what I can scrape together to assist.

Despite the lack of top hat/tea cup/etc., congratulations! The first time is always the hardest. Each successive time it'll get easier and faster. Soon you will be horrified at how fast you can make inf.

My students voted to move the final to last week, so I don't have any class today. (HUZZAH!) I still have to grade all the exams. (BOOOOOO.)

I'm picturing Than in Jack's lap right now.
"For...Christmas? I...would like... *lantern eyes blink* ...an original copy...of the Grimorum Insanctes. The one with...the flayed skin dustcover." -
Have to agree with you on this. Only two of my characters, and that might be a stretch there, would even make SENSE being Incarnated.
-
Also, why isn't anyone pointing out the disastrous MS Paint makeover Wu Yin is sporting?

Quote:It's the suspension of disbelief. Which I think you touch on. If the story telling is good enough, I'll believe a level one with brawl can do anything.See, here's the thing. Say you had an SGmate who was great to RP with and always came up with awesome plots. One day they come up with a plot involving a god or godlike figure. So in the course of trying to figure out what to do next your character goes "okay, maybe we could talk to this god and try to make a deal". And the other player goes "okay" and logs in a level 2 alt with Veteran wings and the Thunderhead aura.
Would you immediately go, "No way, I refuse to believe a god would be level 2, go PL this character to 50 and get them some Incarnate slots and then we'll talk"?
Conversely, I wouldn't RP with a character who is a perfectly normal human being who just happens to have really good informers, if this is used as a tool to intimidate me (like, say, "I know all your weaknesses, I know where you live, I know all your family members, I could ruin your life or have you killed with a single text.")
For me, it's not so much about the discrepancy between the story they're trying to sell me and their ingame stats, it's more about whether they're interested in a good story versus just posturing. -
I'm not changing a thing about any of my characters, whether they go Incarnate or not. I will say, though, that I've always been annoyed by the "BOW BEFORE ME I AM A GOD" crowd.
Really? God is a level 32 Dominator?
Whether level 32 or level 320, all too often gods and their ilk are just an excuse for poor roleplay. It takes talent to pull off all-powerful-deity without looking like plain old all-powerful-horses-butt.
And those are a dime a dozen.
