What Father said. Frankly, I find it infinitely simpler and easier to tell my parents that my OG Droid, iPod, and etc. are "small computers that are really good at specific things, like organizing tasks, or playing music."

I would tender the same advice if the tables were reversed. Happily, they are not. Unless you actually have something constructive to add, get out. Beyond this point, I am going to follow Smersh's level-headed lead and ignore everything in this thread that isn't Smersh and Siberian's story.

Can we get a forum option where threads that have been ruined by rampant
are marked so they can be safely avoided?

The Fifth Nictus Quantum Council of Warshade Axis Cimerora Earth is argument enough.

I want to see someone spell "Quaterfield" every half an hour.

My main character looks like himself. There are no actors/actresses/people that he looks like. Though a young Peter Murphy looks a lot like him.

You fly up above the Cairo Queen, look down, and sigh wistfully.

Like all Star Wars material, 85% of it is absolute Lucas-approved crap, and 15% of it is pure lightsaber awesome. The Zahn books are good, yes--but the older ones are kind of dated. Not bad, just old. The big plotted out arcs are pretty good, but are quite the investment if you want to read the whole spiel. I can recommend the New Jedi Order series and Legacy of the Force series. I've not yet decided on the Fate of the Jedi series--but it is currently ongoing so you can deal with all the mystery and plottage at the same time as the rest of us, should you or your friend like that sort of thing.
Also, I would personally recommend I, Jedi by Michael Stackpoole. It is dated as well, but was quite the departure from the standard Star Wars fare when it came out. For the longest time, it was also the only Star Wars book ever presented in the first person, and I've always enjoyed it. -

Mondo, when people tell you, "If you have nothing useful to say, don't say anything at all," this is what they are talking about.

Your "special friend" also needs to be the one doing the talking.

This thread really flew under the radar, wow.
Yeah, happy holidays to everyone! -
Quote:I'm used to you having amazing concepts and costume setups, but I just wanted to make a comment on this one: Wow.

Finally, something in this thread I can get behind. Yes, please, Incarnate salvage on the CH. I could totally be a marketing god.
Also, I'd like to see a cross-reference of all the people deleting loot in this game, with all the people complaining about not having enough inf. to afford anything on the CH. I wonder how much overlap there is. -

You'd think that the major topic of conversation in this thread would be, "OMG I20!!!!"
