OK, thanks. I saw that the text said to "talk" to the person in charge, but as I recall, in other missions that said something similar, the "talk" ended up being done with fireballs, lightning bolts, etc.

I have a Thugs MM that has become a Hero, I'm trying out story arcs on the Hero side.
I've tried running radio missions and then doing the bank missions from my detective, once I complete the bank mission my detective just thanks me and doesn't offer any new contacts. I've done this like 2 times now.
After looking through all of my old and current contacts I've discovered that I have 2 open arcs as a Hero and have 6 open arcs as a Villain. So I'm wondering, is 8 the maximum open arcs anyone can have?

I spent all of my backlog of Vanguard Merits on one character on Gr'ai Matters--the 18 hour clock worked fine for me. I'd definitely bug it, and check back on your next login.

You have been by far, by leaps and bounds, the most understanding and even-handed moderator I have known on these boards. I say that with confidence and despite my indicated reg date, because I was an unregistered lurker from even further back. I also say that as someone who has been moderated by you, and I thank you for always being fair and having the patience to explain why I was wrong rather than just slapping me around. Further, I will always count our friendly debates and long chats as one of the highlights of my tenure here.
I can well understand and sympathize with your situation, for which you should be congratulated. Good on you that people are fighting for the Ocho.

Actually there are many ways to get rich on the market where that isn't true. Also overpaying is subjective. I don't think I am overpaying if it gets me back into the game faster even if I did pay 1 million for a common piece of salvage.
