This is still one of the best and most epic stories in the game, and I think it is a criminal shame that people skip it.

Beyond that, I think certain persons need to remember that Paragon Studios in all of its incarnations is a team. Castle did not "destroy" PvP any more than any one single person changed any other part of the game. You are free to dislike the changes (which I, personally, do to some extent), but there is no point in scapegoating him.

Lastly, I think those of us who know where to find him should respect his privacy and not make a big deal out of his current forum handle.

So long as they kept the Freedom store well-stocked with good things, I would be okay with them just awarding PP in lieu of an item from time to time. And I agree that it's fine as a placeholder for now. It will be interesting to see the dichotomy between what we can purchase with Vet tokens, and what we can purchase with PPs.

This...would bother me. Probably only because I've worked really, really, really hard to unlock the three tiny pieces I've got so far. *sigh* Still, I wouldn't be averse to a merit award, like six to spend as the user wishes, if it weren't for the fact that you can be an 87 month player without necessarily being an Incarnate player.

It's the part where he should "get her" as some kind of sick reward for his persistence that turns my stomach.

Apparently I was. And that has made all the difference.

I think SG management tools are my personal sore "abandoned core mechanic" issue. Seriously--renames, mergers/splits, etc.
